Recently, our table of 8 loved their pizza (artichoke and so wonderful), seafood sandwich (shrimp and bay scallops and cheese), and the sliders were the best in SE Michigan, in my opinion!!! “Though the outside is unassuming, the food here is absolutely delicious. You would never know that you could find some of the best American food in metro Detroit in a strip mall in Eastpointe. The spicy cheese curds are a must, and this place is known for having great wings. They also grill a mean burger. The bartender was super friendly, even offering us free candy while we waited for our order. We will definitely be back!“

They don't serve food but you can bring your own. Our group of 12 had a great time and can't wait to come back.Parking: They have their own parking lot right in front of the building.“

“I moved to SCS 5 months ago and have never been here before. My family and I have tried carryout from several restaurants and we always end up with Gilbert’s. Great food, service & prices. I had my daughters 1st birthday in their banquet room yesterday and I’m over the moon happy with how it turned out! The staff was super helpful and always around when I needed anything. The food was great, my guests raved about the pizza and spinach dip. I would book events here in the future without a doubt. Look no further for a great American cuisine menu and staff that makes you feel like family!“

The short blonde bartender (I believe she said her name was Alison) was outstanding— quick with delicious drinks and always smiling. The bang bang shrimp appetizer is a must have, and although their pizza takes a bit longer because it’s HALF OFF on Tuesdays, it is 10/10.“
