“This is a great compliment to Sluggo's Pizza located right next door. They have a great selection of beers, and we're particularly fond of the "Time to Take My Pils" Pilsner. You can order the pizza at Sluggo's, go find a table next door at Brewery 4 Two 4, and they will bring the pizza to you. Awesome!”

“We've ordered pizza from here over the years and it has never disappointed. The deep dish pizzas are worth the extra wait! Be sure to plan ahead when ordering. We usually get it to go as it usually works better for us. Seating can be limited but is expanded in the summer. Great pizza in downtown Holland!”

“She got the Walleye main and I got the Mahi Mahi special. Both were great. A bit too much cucumber for me on the side of the fish, but the fish was seasoned great on both dishes. They forget my bread side but were quick to get it once pointed out. We split the salad special too which was really good with the strawberries. New Fashioned was good but the pineapple marg was better.”

“The fries were delicious, the view was beautiful, our server was kind and attentive!We did not care for the calamari or the Caesar salad. The romaine lettuce had the off-taste of pre cut vegetables, typical at many chain restaurants like McDonald’s, Culver’s, and Taco Bell.”

“This was one of my favorite meals ever. What a surprising find. How they manage to elevate the flavor profile of dishes by combining elements (that you would not think could go together) is absolutely incredible. I see reviews about the food being overpriced. I thought the food was very reasonably priced. You cannot go to a restaurant that serves high quality food and expect to spend what you would to eat a burger and fries at a local bar. The food at this restaurant is masterfully crafted and will leave you speechless.”

“My family and I went during Tulip Festival time. Got seated within 5 minutes, outdoor patio is beautiful and pet friendly. Atmosphere inside is cool. Cocktails were awesome, food was great. I got the Black and Tan Reuben (fantastic), my wife got the fish n chips (fantastic). My kids got off the kids menu, good prices. Our waiter started out strong but then disappeared for refills. Only knock. Definitely will be back!”

“Neat local brewery! Really likes my double IPA. About 15 beers on tap ranging from light pilsner to stouts. Had five big screen TVs with various football games on a Sat. afternoon in the fall. Big wide bar, about 10 tables, and a cozy couch in the corner. No food service but there are two restaurants on either side of the distillery that will deliver to your table. Cool place to have a beer or cocktail and hang out!”

“For thin crust, this Crust 54 location beats the downtown location for the thinnest and crispiest pizza ever, this where it's at !. Baked perfectly in the middle even with a healthy pile of topings. (No goop) Lots and Lots of perreroni, the old fashioned kind, is crispy and tasty. For the price, side salads, the size of a salad for two, are a deal. I love their Greek Salad. Meat pizza is awesome. Next time a picture. Get the largest they have and it re-heats like fresh out of the pizza oven every time. Winner Winner, Pizza Dinner.”

“Una restaurante maravillosa! A great place to go and enjoy some Mexican cuisine. A great selection of tacos, sides, apps, and fun extras. All the service staff were very kind and quick, and always welcoming and engaging in conversation with customers. The food is authentic and filing, I highly recommend getting the Pirata. I was a great fan of the sauces they had, the spiciest one, the black habanero, was my favorite by far.”

“We celebrated my daughter's graduation at Salt & Pepper yesterday and had a thoroughly wonderful time. It was the busiest day of the year and the host staff made it possible for us to get a table in a reasonable time. Our server was helpful and attentive, the food was fantastic. Every member of the party enjoyed their meal with no complaints - including burgers, carne asada, salads, and prime rib dip. It was a perfect day to sit out on their patio and we enjoyed the atmosphere and cool breeze. Cannot wait to return!!”

They were not busy but it took us at least 45 minutes to get our food and 2 appetizers. Half of that time they had one cook. Why one cook on Saturday 5 pm??”

“I’m from the west coast and have been seeking authentic Mexican food. This place is it, hands down!!! I drove from Grand Haven to try it and I’ll be a regular now, I’m telling you! My friend had the birria tacos and I had elote and chilaquiles. My first bite and I was in heaven!!! Not to mention, the staff was SO friendly, it felt like home. Vegetarian friendly, incredible food, drinks and more. AND there’s a drive thru?! You don’t want to miss this hidden gem. I’d give it a 6/5 if I could!”

“Let me say this. The boba was absolutely good. We got a mango smoothie with the tapioca pearls and an addition of mango jelly. We asked for lesser ice, but since it's a smoothie, they didn't have a choice. The service could have been better. As for savory we ordered the chicken dumplings it came with a dipping soy sauce. It tasted good and well to fill an empty stomach. Overall, a must try if you are in the area.”

“I had a near religious experience at this establishment. Upon entering, my partner and I were greeted by the owner. They were incredibly informative, friendly, and accommodating. This was my first time finding a restaurant that completely met my strict dietary needs, and it was exceptional. Nearly everything on the menu could be adjusted or modified. Despite ordering numerous items, the food preparation was prompt and ready to go quickly. The cauliflower rice was a big suprise, typically a soggy or soft dish, they made it in a way that is reminiscent of couscous, an absolute essential if you visit here. It is a smaller establishment but good seating for a quick lunch with a few people or alone.Dietary restrictions: Keto and diabetic friendly everything. Vegetarian and vegan options are also ample, nearly everything can be modified. Knowledgeable staff are willing to make sure you have a safe and delicious meal.”

“We were in town and decided to give this a try, we've had dragons milk in a bottle before so figured we would try this place out. This is THE LARGEST brewery/ or restaurant I have ever been inside. It was clean, not busy, but the weather was beautiful outside so we sat on the patio. The locals were very kind and chatty. The elote dip was bomb- rich with that cream cheese- who could resist- we couldn't we ate the entire thing although it was a large portion. In the flight I got a cherry limeade, kombucha, smores dragon milk 11%-it's hot, and a floralish beer. I didn't love any of them really, but I think I finished the cherry lime and kombucha first. The smores dragon milk burned my throat- I can't handle that high of abv. If I came back it would be for the dip.”

“I've been all over the country and I've had some good food, but this has to be some of THE best I've ever had. I'm from Texas and grew up in the Carolinas, big BBQ states and the rib tips here were AMAZING. The sauce was absolutely delicious. The sides (we had the corn, stuffing, and collard greens) made me miss home in the best way. The lovely woman who served my fiance and I was absolutely sweet as pie, asked if it was our first time and made us feel very welcome there. We live an hour and a half away but I would absolutely take the drive any day just to have their food again. 10/10, you have to try this if you're in town. They had a great selection of items other than what I mentioned too (the fried chicken looked delicious).”

“If you want excellent coffee brewed in a variety of ways this is the spot in Holland. I can be overbearing with my own coffee nerdiness but the barista was nice and tolerated my curiosities, even bringing me my phone when I forgot it in the cafe. “How is this place not known all over? Even the locals barely know about this bakery!I finished a stressful week at work and wanted to reward myself with a sweet treat or donut. As it was towards the end of the day, many shops were about to close and I didn't want a crusty old donut. I was searching through Google and saw that Colin's had great reviews and it closed at 6:30.The bakery is hidden away in what appears to be a bit of an industrial location. It shares space with a small car lot and if it didn't have a sign, you would not know it's there. Upon entry, it smelled amazing. It's small, and there are many units with goodies in them. It's self-serve, they have clean serving trays and clean tongs. You take one of each and place your selection on the tray and then take it up to the counter. They box it up and you pay. Then on your way.During the time I was there, there was a steady stream of people going in and out. The owner (?) came out from behind, greeted me, and told me the young man up front could answer any questions I had. It looks like it's either family run because of the homey feel.I had a full large box that I took home and it was very very reasonably priced. The full box was less than 20 dollars. If I were to buy 2-3 of the items I had in that box by my place, easily at least $10 just for 2-3 items.What I also loved about this place is that it had more than donuts and conchas (Mexican sweet bread). Though they have different names for the pastries, they essentially had European style pastries as well as others that I'm not familiar with.Definitely coming back for my sweet fixes.”

Pork carnitas taco had an inviting mouth feel that welcomed me in to its subtle flavors, like the neighbor who wants to show you the new firepit he installed and shares a beer for your trouble. “I this is Kathy reviews expert coming in from Holland Michigan in a small little hole in the wall restaurant that is not named for what it shows advertised the name of the restaurant is La Makana but they also serve Vienna hotdogs and Polish I do have to say that the staff here was very friendly and welcoming and also the food was at my house I’m going to include a few pictures on this review so that you can see just how well the food looks now keep in mind we did come in late at night near closing time but yet the gentleman was still very very welcoming And forthcoming and inviting us into the restaurant to go ahead and eat as my husband and I are travelers truck drivers and I would say as you can see my rating I’m giving them a five star not only for the food that was served but also for staff. When I asked the young lady about a certain Hispanic Mexican dessert that they provide she was so informative and it was very easy to understand what she was explaining and explaining about the desert as a matter fact it enticed me so much that I’m going to try it so I’m gonna see if I can quickly get the name of the man who owns the establishment and the young lady who took care of us while we were waiting for our food”

“Ate here for the first time yesterday. It is a little hard to find. It is in little strip mall among hotels on Hastings ave. Right across from the Children's Food Basket. What a delightful surprise. Probably the classiest neighborhood bar I've been in. It has a good feel about it. You know how sometimes you go into a place and the staff looks at you like "what are you doing here?" Not this place, they like customers. The burgers were fantastic. They have a cook who actually knows how to cook. We will be back the next time we are in the area. The service was also excellent.”

Hands down the best vanilla custard I have ever had. Walked in at closing time, apologetically, and was greeted by super awesome staff willing to hook it up on late notice. “While in town visiting family at Thanksgiving, we visited the Kerstmarkt at the Civic Center. It was pretty cold, and before walking up 8th Street, we wanted to warm up and grab a quick bite. That's when we stumbled on this place.It is just east of the market, so it's a prime location to pick up a breakfast pastry or drink before shopping downtown. It had just opened, so we were the only customers. The place is pristine and bright and huge with several tables on one side.My mom and I shared a pecan sticky bun thing, and it was warm and delicious. Don't be fooled by the plate in the photo - it's actually a sturdy, reusable plate made to look like a paper plate. They also provide forks and cups for water.There were so many items to choose from, I'll have to go back and try some more.”
