Ice Cream Shops in Holland

“I this is Kathy reviews expert coming in from Holland Michigan in a small little hole in the wall restaurant that is not named for what it shows advertised the name of the restaurant is La Makana but they also serve Vienna hotdogs and Polish I do have to say that the staff here was very friendly and welcoming and also the food was at my house I’m going to include a few pictures on this review so that you can see just how well the food looks now keep in mind we did come in late at night near closing time but yet the gentleman was still very very welcoming And forthcoming and inviting us into the restaurant to go ahead and eat as my husband and I are travelers truck drivers and I would say as you can see my rating I’m giving them a five star not only for the food that was served but also for staff. When I asked the young lady about a certain Hispanic Mexican dessert that they provide she was so informative and it was very easy to understand what she was explaining and explaining about the desert as a matter fact it enticed me so much that I’m going to try it so I’m gonna see if I can quickly get the name of the man who owns the establishment and the young lady who took care of us while we were waiting for our food“

“Went here on a whim and was delighted to try several flavors but went with vanilla. Staff was friendly and attentive, however my cone was not full and there was some strawberry in my all vanilla code.Still enjoyed the experience however pretty overpriced.“

“GREAT bakery! I remember my mom taking me here every Friday morning before school to get donuts, and the Chocolate Ganache donut is the best, and now that I have a driver's license, and a car, I've been going here twice a week for donuts to brighten up the school days!“

“This place is always good! I like the set up outside and how there’s plenty of outdoor seating. It’s also great that in addition to the drive through, there’s plenty of indoor seating as well. I love the different sundae and combination offerings that they show when you walk in. We always look forward to coming here after a beach day.“

“Wonderful ice cream. It was a nice rainy day so almost no one was there. Only negative is the entrance is a little dangerous on a fast curve. Also there is a lot to take in for a first timer. Lots of names for things with descriptions so expect to be reading for a min to find what you want. Small and clean golf course next to the building. It's a nice steadily busy place in the warmer months for a reason it's a nice stop.“

“4.8 starsDelicious frozen treat?this was paid by weight so you could get a bit of everything. I mixed pistachio gelato with raspberry melon frozen yogurt. I didn’t taste strong pistachio flavor in gelato but the texture was very smooth. Raspberry watermelon was sour and sweet so I liked it better.There was a small outdoor area where you can enjoy the treat with some sunshine and breeze. So recommended you get one sweet treat when visiting downtown Holland.“

“Family friendly, including toys to keep little ones occupied. Patient workers while we explored all the options (1st visit). Flavors were amazing and super filling. Definitely ordered too large of sizes. The only "complaint" is that there was only one sugar free option. More would have been nice, but was glad to at least have one. Several dairy free options was a huge plus though! Will be back next time we visit the area.“

“This place has an enormous selection of products to choose from. I ordered with a large group, and unfortunately the service was rather slow because there were only two people working there on a weekday afternoon. However, service was friendly. I ordered the Mazapán shake. The shake had ground ice cubes in it still, which I didn’t mind but others may find off putting. The shake was a little less than $10 which was too expensive in my opinion. I’m happy that Mexican restaurants such as this one are thriving in Holland!“

“They have the fancy street corn, chili cheese dog, Chicago dog . My favorite is the ICE CREAM. I get a medium in a cup so I can get 3 different kinds of ice cream. I got yesterday coconut, mango, and cheese(ice cream). The time before that I got dolce de Leche mango cheese. The mango sherbet is so good. The ice cream has tiney pieces of heaven in it! Cheese ice cream tastes like vanilla and cream heaven. Tequila flavored ice cream that's actually good. They give you samples to try b 4 for commit to it! If you are looking for a different kind of ice cream that has you thinking about it for MONTHS, this is the place!!!!Mangonada is sooo good. The bars in the freezers are actually fruit bars made there(water or cream based).They have a strawberry n cream or cucumber or kiwi drink there made there with real fruit or veggie. This place is a hidden GEM! This is my go to spot NOW. No other ice cream place holds a candle to this place!!! Sounds like a Spanish speaking place by the name of the business, they know English. Nothing but greatness coming out of this place. This is my #1 recommendations from anywhere I've reviewed!!!! #1 PLACE NO JOKE!!! YOU READ THIS, YOU NEED TO TRY this! “To begin, I rarely leave reviews. As a Wisconsin native, I’m a Culver’s supporter to the end. On a random vacation, I randomly stumbled upon Whit’s. It was utterly amazing. Simple design and menu. Hands down the best vanilla custard I have ever had. Walked in at closing time, apologetically, and was greeted by super awesome staff willing to hook it up on late notice. And I’m so thankful they did. Mind blown. A must stop location.“

“When I first walked in to Crumbl, I was skeptical that the price per cookie was so high. Then I realized that the cookies are massive and can easily be shared between two people or as a taster amongst four. They have some of the best gourmet cookies I’ve had in my life, and their Tres Leches cake is flavorful and delicate without being oversaturated. Staff at this location was very friendly. They also donate to organizations in the community. Highly recommend!“
