How fantastic to find vegan tamales in Holland! It's hard to find these, even in Chicago. The blueberry tamal and tres leches were especially awesome.Vegetarian options: The staff were very gracious, and fluent in vegetarianism. We were grateful to have total confidence in the selections we made. No hidden lard, cross-contamination, etc. This is very rare in authentic Mexican restaurants!
I LOVE THIS PLACE. I try to eat there every other week because for a while Tamales plus was all I ate. Every employee I've encountered is always so kind and thoughtful. They ask all the right questions and get your order out in a timely manner. I can't believe this place isn't always packed it's truly the best part of Holland. They have never let me down with an order. I do wish they had elote on the menu and chorizo BUT they are still my favorite. ?

I work for Lakeshore Orthodontics and we had Tamales Plus cater our lunch and let me say that they went above and beyond, not only with communication and service, but we could not get enough compliments on the food. Everything is so fresh and flavorful. Whether you're stopping in for a lunch or catering, this place is awesome!
