“We just wanted 5 slices but the price for 5 came close to a full-size (8 squares), so why not? We didn't get a receipt (physical or email) but the buzzy thing only. It did take a while, and with 6 kids, it seemed like forever. I did have to verify our order was processing. This pizza was AMAZING. It was so hot out of the oven, I went through 2 plastic knives that WARPED from the heat. The tomato flavor was just pungent, just delicious The pepperoni was spicy for the older kids; the 2 year old gobbled it up. I've never had to twirl cheese until now, and it was extremely satisfying.I honestly don't know what the fuss is about pizza. And Husband is New Jersey Italian, so that's blasphemy. But Buddy's Pizza at the Detroit Zoo pizza is a home run right here.Tables might be sparse for big parties. Bathrooms are not in the building. Staff seemed a little vacant but pulled through for everything we asked for.”

“My experience at Noori Pocha, the Korean fried chicken haven, was nothing short of extraordinary. I'd give 10 stars to this restaurant if I could. Not only the food, but also the customer service and the vibe were impressive. I forgot to take pictures of their fried chicken, because it looked so good that I had to start eating as soon as it got to our table. 1. Food - Fried chicken: better than the ones back in South Korea! Crispy on the outside, yet incredibly juicy and flavorful on the inside. I tried all the flavors - whether you prefer it with the soy garlic glaze, the sweet & spicy sauce or any other, every option is a winner. - Jokbal (braised pork hocks): we had both the original and the spicy version. They were both authentic and aromatic... just fantastic. And let's not forget the array of mouthwatering sides - from the refreshing crunch of the lettuce to the variety of delectable sauces, every component complemented the star of the show, the Jokbal, flawlessly. - Bulgogi (soy sauce marinated sliced beef): Bulgogi at Noori Pocha is a true delight. Tender slices of beef marinated in a sweet soy sauce create a beautiful symphony of flavors that dance on your palate. Each bite is a perfect balance of savory and sweet, leaving you craving for more. - Jeyook (spicy sauce marinated sliced pork): this was my favorite. It tastes like it's from a very good restaurant in South Korea. Tender slices of pork marinated in a spicy sauce create a tantalizing explosion of taste. Each bite is a perfect harmony of heat and sweetness, guaranteed to leave your taste buds tingling with delight. Paired with generous rice balls, it's a Korean culinary experience that will leave you craving for more. It also goes well with alcoholic beverages. - Dakttongjip (fried chicken gizzard): the gizzards are fried to perfection, creating a crispy exterior that gives way to a burst of savory goodness. Whether enjoyed as a snack or a main dish, Dakttongjip is a must-try for anyone seeking a unique and delicious Korean culinary experience. It comes with lots of whole fried garlic. - Ddakbbokeumtang (spicy chicken stew): hearty and full of flavor. Tender chunks of chicken simmered in a rich and flavorful broth, infused with a fiery blend of spices that awaken your senses with every spoonful. - Pajeon (spring onion & seafood pancake): probably the best Korean seafood pancake I've ever had. Crispy outside, soft inside, loaded with plump shrimp and fresh spring onions, it's a perfect combination of textures and tastes. 2. Ambiance Precious korean vintage stuff all around the place. Chic and inviting, with a touch of Korean charm and a great selection of K-pop music playing in the background. It's the perfect spot for a casual meal with friends and family. 3. Service Attentive and friendly staff members go above and beyond to ensure that your dining experience is nothing short of exceptional. Whether you need recommendations on what to order or just a friendly chat, they are always ready to assist with a smile. Ask for 'slush soju' - they will softly hammer the bottom of the bottle, which makes soju tastes even better, and you get to experience the fun of it. Overall, I am more than satisfied with everything this place offers. A fun place to visit with the best selection of foods. I highly recommend Noori Pocha to everyone who lives in Michigan. Do yourself a favor and pay them a visit - your taste buds will thank you!”

“I'm just visiting the area so it was my great fortune to have stumbled on Pink Garlic Indian Cuisine. I have had Indian food all over the U.S. and the U.K.--this is some of the best Indian food I have ever had! The Tandoori Lamb and Chicken Sashlik were over-the-top tasty (recommended by Ray). When I have the chance to come back, I know where I'll be getting dinner!”

“Amazing sushi and a lovely atmosphere. It is very much a higher-end restaurant, but a nice date night idea with loved ones or friends. Just keep in mind that it can get crowded on weekends and can become a little squished!”

“Shared a meal with friends there last Friday evening. The ambience is perfect - laid back but very nicely appointed, not fussy, just very cool. Service was excellent, everyone was smiling and sharing their passion for food, wine and cocktails. The chef brought several of our courses to the table and was engaging and quite excited to share his efforts. Everything we ate was excellent, one almost better than the next. Favorites were the lamb and the fennel. Wow. I already have reservation to return!”

“Oh MAN Rocco's is the place I have searched for in vain until last year when I tried them for the first time. Since that first meatball sub I have had almost every sandwich on the menu and so far not one has disappointed! Today I had the Corner Deli and was transported to Italian paradiso! In case you non-Italians did not know, ciabatta is the Italian baguette and Rocco's bakes many fresh loaves several times per day! Usually it is still warm from the oven even if you get a cold sandwich! There is no better sandwich bread in my progenic-Italian opinion! They are in Midtown on Cass just East of Mack. Try them if you have yet to do so. You will thank the gods!”

“A gem! Great selection of French-Asian fusion pastries, donuts, and breads. Loads of seating and WiFi. + Iced Shakerato ($5.95; less sweet): delicious! Very smooth (8/10) + Chestnut Mammoth Bread half ($3.70): layers of bread, red bean paste, light whipped cream, and topped with a nutty crumble and chestnut pieces. (8.3/10) + Coffee Bun ($3.75): a must, strong coffee flavor, gritty filling inside. (8.5/10)”

“I really love this place but I am disappointed to see a sign that says no laptops after 5. I thought the draw was a cafe that's open late. But I suppose that means they are successful with a different audience! Still love it here.”

“My cousin is a regular here and this was my first time here. This is a fantastic little shop. Their menu is extensive but filled with great things. They also operate as a snack and liquor shop with specialty items. The food I had was well made and the service is friendly. You can really see that the locals love this place and come here often. It's a place that is definitely worth checking out if you are in the area.”
