“Had an excellent time here. The chef was one of the better Hibachi chefs I've seen and was super enthusiastic. I only knocked down a star because the chicken and vegetables came with teriyaki on them which was nowhere on the menu and I would have preferred them without. Otherwise awesome.”

“A very nice vineyard. The wine is great. My favorite is the blue skies. They also have a small variety of cider and beer to choose from as well. The charcuterie boards are well out together, and the food is decent. My pizza was actually really good. I wish the panini had a better crust on it. Overall decent food. My only complaint is the pricing on the food. 23$ for the charcuterie and 16$ for my flatbread pizza. The pizza was tasty. The picture below is special they had which is Parmesan sauce with feta cheese, mozzarella, onions, mushrooms and roasted red peppers. Which I did enjoy, however I feel it was a little overpriced for the portion size. 12$ would be more reasonable. They have live music and game nights. I've been here 3 times and have enjoyed myself every time.”

“It was early evening when you stopped by 127 for a flight, and it seemed like they had a good crowd of regulars who had already come in. Between the bartender and customers it seemed like a pretty cheerful place. The beers were also quite good. My favorites were Where’s My Kilt, a strong Scottish ale, and Runna Red, a red ale. I didn’t try anything out of the ordinary as far as styles go, but what I did have was of excellent quality. Only their tripel was a bit lacking to me, and that’s always a hard style to pull off well. If you’re looking for a comfortable place to drink without trying to be fancy, 127 Brewing fits the bill.”

“This is Jackson"s four star ristorante and it's the kind of joint you can get a bottle of vino and spaghetti and not break the bank but it ain't Mickey D"s either. Business casual or preppy is the recommended attire most likely and the customer service is friendly and very classy. A great place to take a first date or your prom date to. I don't know if they still do candlelight dinnera but it's top notch either way.”

“These are the best donuts I've ever had. They are a Jackson, Michigan staple and were voted #1 donuts in the state of Michigan. The bag that the fries were in was very wet. I had to dry the fries out in the oven. I thought it was grease at first, but nope. So, 4 stars because the cheeseburger was great.”

We got coneys with fries, a side of collards, catfish with greens and Mac n cheese, and a smoked turkey leg with greens and coleslaw, and a slice of sweet potato pie (heavenly!) dinners come with yummy cornbread.JUST Look at the size of that turkey leg!!! It had to be 3 pounds. And, it was tender and absolutely delicious... everything was! The collards are DELICIOUS. Another serious plus is the price. When you open boxes from heaven that are stuffed with great food AND you feed a family of 4, WITH great leftovers for under $60, that is a WIN. Thank you Mr. Pryor, you are the best!”

“Yen King is definitely the best Chinese food in Jackson area. Been there a few times and always been great . Our last visit was a little different though. We ordered crab Rangoon and they were served not fully cooked. We brought it to our servers attention and she insisted that they were fine but then offered to cook them longer. When she brought them back there was still some uncooked areas.Its not shown in the picture though since the uncooked areas is in the middle. The egg rolls are the best ,< so good.”

“Very disappointed after liking it so well. My spouse, nephew and myself, came for a quick drink meal n appetizer. Waitress came to table fairly quick and we gave her our drink order and tried ordering 3 pretzels and 3 nacho salads. She said she couldn't take our food order because she had to do drink order 1st and give him a "ticket for the order" she finally comes back to take the order we already gave her. About 10 min later she brings 1 pretzel with cheese, goes back to kitchen about 5min later brings next pretzel and did the same thing with our meal so basically we couldn't eat together. “A large takeout order was placed for a child's birthday party. The original order was for 3:30 pick up. After determining it would be better to pick up a little after 4:00, Marcos was called with the last-minute change of plans. Apologizing when I arrived for pick up around 4:00, the young man behind the counter (seemingly working alone) was pleasant and accommodating. I expected some pushback due to the change - there was none. He made all 10 pizzas and orders of garlic bread himself with help from a delivery driver and it was all ready at the original 3:30 pick up time. He kept it all hot and the food was well received at the party - no complaints from kids or parents. Great service and attitude! Well done!”

“I visited Biggby Coffee in Jackson Michigan on late afternoon and I was pleasantly surprised by the warm and cozy atmosphere. The staff was very friendly and attentive, and they greeted us with a smile. They helped me choose from the wide variety of coffee drinks, tea, smoothies, bagels, and baked goods. I ordered a large mocha. I don’t like too sweet and the staff take initiative to let us know that they can make a less sweet. The coffee was rich and smooth but still very sweet for us. The portion sizes were generous and the prices were reasonable. The shop was clean and spacious, with comfortable seating.. They also had free WiFi, a drive-through window.”

Imagine my surprise when I discovered it was Denny's all along - "did they open another 24-hour joint next door?"This turned out to be a happy accident. It had been over a decade since I'd stepped into a Denny's, and the remodel was impressive. The vintage vibe glowed, accentuated by the soulful sounds of Motown playing in the background.But the true star of the show was the exceptional third-shift host/server (let's call her a mind-reader for suggesting ranch with my fries!). Her friendly attentiveness made the quiet diner feel incredibly welcoming. We chatted until food came as she went back and forth and by then, Denny's felt like a nostalgic hangout from my college days.Overall, a great experience - thanks to delicious food, a charming atmosphere, and exceptional service. Denny's, you surprised me, and I'll definitely be back for more!Btw... Denny's Flamin' 5 Pepper Burger? Now that was a beast! I had to snap a picture of this monster. It was so loud in there we really couldn't hear each other very well without screaming. We will definitely come back, though..”
