We had my cousin’s wedding shower here yesterday and the service was more than I have experienced in past events that I’ve hosted. I was incredibly impressed with how well Clint and his partner made sure the entire shower was perfect for my cousin and her mom (who hosted the event) I host a lot of events and fundraisers and hope to have these two servers to work with in the future. Thank you for helping to make yesterday so special and truly so easy.
I highly recommend the Aspen Restaurant in Macomb Twp. We initially booked our wedding reception there in their Campfire Banquet Room. Jackie was our coordinator and really did a fabulous job explaining what the venue offers and how best to set up the room for our party. We even had a special menu request and she went above and beyond to ensure we got our Faygo Floats served with our wedding cake. The atmosphere and decor of the room was so fitting in how we wanted to portray our special day. We loved all the nature and animal items in the walls. The food was delicious. We wanted to feel like we had the backyard bbq so we chose bbq chicken, Italian sausage and peppers and the glazed ham. Many of our guests really enjoyed the chicken. The staff did an amazing job with our party. We even got a loyalty card to use on another visit with the restaurant. Tonight we used our card for date night. Again, we had fantastic service and the food was amazing. Hubby had the cod with fries and I had the Almond crusted walleye. The loaded tots were also very good. Our server was very personable and chatted with us for a bit. Friday night live music was a great add to the dining atmosphere. We will be back again for sure.

I scheduled a Celebration of Life event on Wednesday afternoon July 13th, reserving one of the 2 private rooms that are available for gatherings. I gave a $100 deposit which was later subtracted from the total bill.. so there was no charge for the room. The large room holds up to 100 people, we were in the smaller room, having a guest list of 23. My guests raved about the food and our server Rebecca. She did a Great job, very attentive, and friendly. Thanks also to Jackie, and the rest of the staff. Kudos to the kitchen! The Salmon and Chicken Marsala were very popular that afternoon and cooked to perfection. Thank you Aspen for making my event so special!! My comment to Donna, the manager, you can certainly be proud of the way this restaurant functions. Relaxed atmosphere, professional employees, great food.....
