Great food , friendly staff and great atmosphere!!
The chips were VERY stale. my 9yo blurted it out and we hushed him for being disrespectful but, after I tried them I couldn't believe how stale they were. I'm hoping it was because someone forgot to close the bag but, for there to be stale tortilla chips coming out of the kitchen still at 3:30 p.m. and no one caught it at a Mexican restaurant is crazy. They have to go through so much a day and to still be serving stale chips by 3:30p.m.. Yikes! I ordered their house margarita "all of theirs were only available on the rocks not blended". To me that's unacceptable. I should be able to go to a Mexican restaurant and buy a better margarita then at Texas Road House and Outback Stake house. It tasted like I made it at home. I would obviously never pay for a margarita there again with it being that quality. Our server was very nice but forgot to take our kids drink orders when we placed our food order, but brought us their drinks on request when we left. The salsa was good! If there were fresh chips it would have been amazing. I would suggest asking to bring two/three things of salsa with how small the bowls are when you first sit down. I ordered the chicken Chimichanga. I liked that it was three small chimichungas and not one big chimichunga. I loved it! I would have liked bigger portions for the beans and rice. Other then that, it was great. My husband felt that his Wet Chicken Burrito was very small. And wished he would have gotten something else. he said the flavor was very good though and would have liked bigger portions of everything. My first son said his cheese qusadilla was very good! He liked the rice and beans as well. My second son had the soft flower beef taco and loved it! It was packed with filling and he ate the leftover with the rice and beans. Over all, for the price, we probably won't come back after the quality of drinks and food.
