“I saw this place has been around since 1874 and thought there's no way this building is that old! It must have been in another nearby long gone building back in those days when Romeo Plank Road was literally wood planks. Well, I had it ass backwards. This building really is that old but it's only been a tavern since the 1940s. It also spent decades with another name before changing ownership and becoming Goldie's Saloon. There's your limited Yelp history lesson. I've been here a couple times, to watch the NCAA men's basketball championship game a couple years ago and the Daytona 500 earlier this week. I was really into watching motorsports from 2005 til around 2010 and then the obsession waned but I'll very infrequently check out a race. Goldie's seemed like it would draw a NASCARy crowd and indeed there were a few avid watchers, including a guy behind me mansplaining restrictor plates and drafting to his significant other. I've had both menu items featured on Goldie's sign. The fish and chips were mighty tasty and the burger was solid. I've had better but I would put it somewhere in the upper echelon of bar burgers in the metro area. A buzzed up racing fan at the bar was raving about the burgers, though, nursing brown liquor on the rocks, bragging about how his 82 year old mother in law was waiting for him to bring the carry out before him on the bar, saying she liked Big Boy when it wasn't even "real food" like they have at Goldie's. I don't know about all that but I probably would rather eat at Goldie's than at Big Boy. The food is better and you're likely to get some entertainment, too. There's no windows here and the interior has that classic dive bar look. There's comical signs celebrating vice. They even got red Naugahyde booths. The thing I love about this type of windowless saloon is it could easily be in Detroit's Eastern Market, a single traffic light town up north or out in Macomb township where seas of parking and every chain store imaginable, often repeating themselves if you drive far enough down nearby Hall Road, have sprouted up from what was once just farmland surrounding this humble old two story building. The bartender has been the same on both my visits, a shorter gal with dark hair and she's done a fine job both times. I get the feeling she's been at this a few years. Goldie's has your standard touchscreen jukebox and a golfing video game some guys in the back where just going apeshit over. They also got geeked when I played Primus. How can I not play Jerry Was a Racecar Driver while guys are doing lap after lap after lap around a tri-oval? The men's room here really shows the building's age, it's the tiniest commode this side of Lafayette Coney Island. Not so much a problem for a trim guy like me but I imagine they get their share of guys built like their oversized pickups in here. I don't know if I'll ever go back to Goldie's. It's kind of one of those deals where I want to say I've been there but if I'm around that neck of the woods I wouldn't mind going back. It's a welcome respite from all the antiseptic chain restaurants with bars that line Sprawl Road.“

“I have stopped into JSP many times and have always had a great experience! As a local, they are a go-to for delicious burgers and drink specials.They also have karaoke on Friday nights and fish fry specials including perch and coconut shrimp dinners. I recently ordered a coconut shrimp dinner for carryout and was super impressed! The service is always fast and friendly, even when the place is packed. They are also great for catering!“

“Took our first trip to this place just last night. Has a little bit of everything for those not looking to stay seated during dinner. Food took forever though and was decent. Waitress was a little lost with constantly asking our table of 6 what they ordered and whose drink went with whose order. Other than that the atmosphere was pretty cool. We played some cornhole, which was decently priced by the hour ($10). Plus they had classic arcade games, free to play like Ms Pac Man, Galaga, Frogger, and Donkey Kong along with 90’s classics like Mortal Kombat, NFL Blitz and House of the Dead. Plus over a dozen pinballs. Arcade area was a sight to see since most places now use carnival or ticket games. They also had a poker room which was full. Did not see any pool tables, darts or disc golf so not sure if those get removed during poker night. I’d consider coming back but not during their busier times. It was more than half capacity but id imagine an even further delay on food or your wait staff being really lost handling more than 20 orders at multiple tables. Either way I’d recommend it as long as you aren’t really hungry going in or don’t like huge crowds.“

“Robusto's is a nice cigar lounge. There's a good selection of cigars, and they are priced well. The drinks are delicious, and the service is exceptional. Unfortunately, we arrived after the kitchen closed at 9:45p, so we did not get to enjoy the food, but we'll be back! As an alternative, our waitress made a charcuterie board, which is perfect for my wine. Overall, it was a great time!Parking: Free parking lot, plenty of spaces.“

“Went to pub as a pre game stop to meet up as party of 12. Tables has been pushed together and warm welomes as we had been settled as a party of 12. Food was excellent! Has steak and fries. A great tasting steak. I ordered medium, steak was seasoned and cooked to perfection. And only ten bucks! We didn't hang long but next Motor City Rockers game I go to, Jan 27th!!! Planning another pregame stop for more excellent eats and drinks, : ) Thanks again!“

“Stopped in for a quick lunch. Greeted with smiles and seated quickly! It was lunch though so it wasn't busy. Asked the server for her recommendations and went with the chicken ceasar wrap and tater tots. She said everyone loves the tots. My food came and I almost fell over with the portion size of the tots. Ridiculous amount! ? I was thinking they loved them for the flavor or they were made in house but neither were true. In my opinion, they should cut the portion in half and at least toss them in some easy fry seasoning which is super simple and cost effective. The wrap was decent but I wished it had more dressing. That probably was my fault tho because I asked for extra feta so that dries it out some.Overall really good first impression! I'd be back to try more. Heck, I might even allow my husband to come along.“

“The Sentimental Lady is my favorite place to go on the weekend for good food, friendly staff and karaoke. The karaoke host is one of the main reasons my friends and I come weekly and the Girls at the bar work hard as hell. I always feel like a part of the family when I go here.“

“I have been here a few times. The food is mostly good, but unfortunately there is a handful of items to avoid. I think itd be wise to make menu changes and focus on what they do well. Fish and chips are good, cevapi is a favorite, highly recommend one of those.The atmosphere is okay, standard loud sports bar. It is pretty clean, I noticed the staff always seems to quickly help eachother pick up anything dropped.“

“Main Street has become our favorite place to eat in Romeo. The filet is out of this world and cooked perfectly, they did a better job than most high end places I have been to recently and the presentation is spot on. The soups are always amazing and the salads are my absolute favorite, I love how they chop them. The quality and portion fit the prices here. We have never had a bad meal. The tater tot appetizer and potstickers are two of my favorite appetizers. Last night the tater tots were a little over loaded with onions but still delicious. Our waitress we had last night is always the sweetest and very attentive, didn't catch her name but her grandma's recipe for their bread pudding is one of the desserts. Normally I take pictures of the food but had my phone away to enjoy a dinner with the kids.“

Huge place with bowling alley, 7 to 8 pool tables, are throwing, and a lot more.For smokers, yes, some of us still smoke they have an upstairs smoking area with heaters for winter time.On the floor level, there is an arcade room and basketball and volleyball courts.Drinks were reasonably priced.“

“Great first visit here! The location is small, but surprisingly fits a lot of people, and it's very comfortable. Doesn't feel cramped. Everything is very clean and the atmosphere is great. Visited late on a Friday evening, had good service and great food. Will be back again! Also want to add how adorable it was that our server grabbed me a to go box, and wrote the date on it for me!! I think people forget that restaurants and their employees deserve grace and compassion as there are people there that do their best to get things right and provide excellent service! If you have an issue, speak up and let your server know so that they can rectify it, especially if they check on you several times to ask if you're okay! I visited today and my server was Peach, I noticed another table talking about something they disliked but never mentioned it to their server to rectify it even though she checked on them several times! Well, me and my family had a great experience! She was very attentive, personable and friendly! Peach had an amazing memory, she made sure our food was served correctly even though at first someone brought out the wrong plate she immediately solved the situation! Every sauce we needed and refill was provided promptly! Peach truly made our experience so pleasant & the food was delicious as well! The burgers and bourbon chicken are the best!!! We know that in these times patience and kindness can go a long way and we appreciate that there was even staff there so that we could go out to eat today!!! This Applebees is on the come up & we will be back! “This place worked out just fine. Couldn't find any places in the area where there wasn't a wait and we were seated immediately here. I just got around pizza which was only $12!! Prices are extremely good here. Now it's bar food but I think it was pretty good. Above average bar pizza. The music was loud but it's a bar. They have more than enough TVs for those who want to watch sporting events and they also have a couple of pool tables. Didn't really regret coming“

“I came for the dollaritas so I went and sat at the bar. I also ordered a blondie in the process. I haven't had one in forever and it was so good ‍. It's served hot in a skillet with ice cream and some sort of icing. It's the only dessert I get from Applebees.“

We are never disappointed the food is always hot and good and our usual server Klara is always so sweet and attentive(best server they have!) this locations bathrooms are clean too!“
