“The food was excellent, beat Chinese food around. We'll be ordering again... except for the egg rolls (not so good) but everything else was fantastic!!!We had Egg Foo Young, Chicken Fried Rice, Sweet & Sour Chicken, Orange Chicken & Beef & Broccoli & Shrimp Fried Rice. Soooooo good!!!!! Not use to the wraps on the Egg Rolls and the veggies seemed to be ground up but hey, I'll order everything but the Egg Rolls and I'll still be good. Good job China City, good job!“

“Everyone liked what they got. I prefer the Pad Thai to have crushed peanuts and a bit more saucy but still pretty good. Wife was happy the pad thai wasn't too sweet. Egg and spring rolls were typical. Sesame chicken was solid. Veg beef was good. Good size portions ensure you can get another meal out of it.“

“By far the best ramen in Detroit, much better than Ima. The pork belly topper is amazing, as are all their topper ingredients in the Shoyu ramen. Broth is so good I drink it from the bowl at the end like a little kid drinking their cereal milk. Highly highly recommend. Drinks are good as well. Favorite thing to do is get ramen here for lunch then go for a visit to the DIA on a quiet weekend. Wait staff is always super nice and food comes out quickly.“

“Trizest never disappoints! I suggest going with a group and eating family style. Everyone selects a main and shares. Great way to try different things. Also, get the spicy cucumber salad as an appetizer. So very good! Been going here for years and have never had a bad experience.“

“This is the best food I've had in my 50 something years of eating Chinese food. When I first moved into my I ordered the chicken egg foo young. I opened the box and was in awe. This place actually has the chunks of chicken, so the egg foo young is not a flat patty by any means. Service is great here eating in or carry out. The ambiance is perfect. I get the Chicken Pad Thai noodle. Delicious..........They always get it right on!!“

“I wasn’t sure what to expect from the reviews but this is now my go to Chinese place. I had their won ton soup which was SO great when I was sick. Also tried the moo shu chicken, love the generous serving they give you! The egg rolls and crab Rangoon were fried perfectly, food was ready in 15 minutes, staff was friendly and efficient. Looking forward to eating here again!“

“This is like the only place you're ever going to get any Malaysian food anywhere in the Detroit metro area. With that said, these guys don't play and the food here is straight ??The roast pork noodle soup and the beef rendang are really good.If the Dong Po Pork is being served off the special menu, then get that since it literally MELT IN YOUR MOUTH.“

“I stop by Zhang's all the time. The managers are always kind and helpful. Their BBQ is made fresh daily, so I go earlier for the best selection. I always get a whole roast duck-- flavorful and crispy. It is clean and well kept inside, I recommend!“

“This is my 2nd time here. I have to say, their chicken and broccoli is THE best I've ever had. The broccoli is tender crisp, not mushy. The flavor was spot on. I would highly recommend this restaurant. I've also tried their chicken egg foo yung and crab rangoon...very good. I will be going “

“Overall, it's amazing. The bathroom stalls are very private although the urinals have no separation. The food is an absolute masterpiece, they must have had Gordon Ramsay teaming up with Guy Fieri and Julia Child because it was brilliant. It has the best service I've ever had in a buffet and the atmosphere is impeccable. You should try the green tea ice cream, and the black peach boba tea. If i could give this infinite stars I would, I absolutely love this place.“

“We stop here pretty regularly. No pictures today, because we were coming in from a school event and everyone was SUPER hungry. The nice thing about Wing Hing is that ee can get things that aren't on the menu. My wife and I were able to get beef and string beans as a combo meal. They don't even have beef and string beans on the menu. Our vegetarian can get a nice meal with steamed broccoli and a side if sweet and sour sauce for dipping and whatever. The food (4 meals) was ready in 20 minutes. Everything hot, fresh and delicious. Too much to eat in one meal, so leftovers HOORAY. REALLY... try the beef and string bean combo if you love string beans. It's awesome.“

“I tried their bbq pork, roast pork, and roast duck. Overall the flavors were great and the meat was really tender. But the meat was also cold/lukewarm despite being under a heat lamp, which definitely affected the crispness of the roast pork skin in particular. Note: they're cash only and some meats have min order amount“

“The food continues to be consistently good. Even under stress of having to work well into retirement this family restaurant endures. You owe it to yourself to enjoy the quiet nostalgic atmosphere of the dining room. They outlasted Szechuan Garden. They didn't turn into a nightclub like Mao Jin Lao. It's good humble food from a hole in the wall. That's the best kind.“

“Fantastic food. Super nice wait staff. Willing to explain the details of the dishes and give (good) recommendations. I've been to many Chinese restaurants, this one is my instant favorite. There's a dish I have been trying to find for (literally) 30 years and they had it, and the waitress was able to point out which one it was for me. On an online menu I see they call it "tossed fried chicken with dried red peppers" but on the newer menu in-store I think it was "Popcorn chicken and dried red peppers" in the Szechuan section. Loaded with fried dried red peppers and whole Szechuan peppers - awesome if you like hot food.Wife got a duck dish, and we both got some Dim Sum which was excellent. Will go back often.“

“I use to live close by a few years ago and the food was always good and reasonably priced and they stay open later than most. Went back there because the only place that I had found where I live now, and the Chinese food was really good, closed down shortly after covid. Just disappointed that they haven't upgraded their payment system to accept anything other than cash. I had to stop by the ? on the way.“

“I love Inyo! Their sushi and drinks are always so good, and the ambiance is a nice vibe! I was straddling the fence about trying a different roll. Katrina was my waiter (bar area). I asked her some questions about a roll I wanted to try. She gave it a good review so I decided to step outside my box and try it. I LOVED IT! I told her it's my new favorite roll! It checked off all my boxes! Another great experience at Inyo, thanks to Kristina!“

“Food tasted great. A little too spicy for a Chinese place. I asked for medium. No on in front of me in line it still took them 12-15 minutes to make my food. Atmosphere is dull. They need to paint in there. Bring color and or decorations“

“Favorite Chinese food!! Haven't had any bad experiences except for on new years eve. I waited over a hour when she told me 20 mins. People who came in after me and ordered received there food before mine and when I finally got back up to the register she goes ummm can I help you, YEAH I WANT MY FOOD! Come to find out if had been sitting on the counter in the back for over 15 mins getting cold“

“What I like about Tokyo sushi is it's a fuss-free unpretentious experience. You can go have reasonably priced sushi that will not shock you. The ramen, however leaves a lot to be desired. But if you have no expectations and want an affordable place to have lunch, it works.“

“Based on two visits, one recently and one several years ago, I'm giving them a 4. I've been unable to nail the perfect dish here for me yet, but again I've only been here twice. They offer a large menu so there are many dishes I'd still like to try! Tonight I had their pan fried dumplings and they were very tasty but I wasn't a fan of the sauce that they came with. I also had their pan fried chicken with a lot of veggies, and it was ok. The sauce was blah, at least for me. I had to add a lot of chili oil to give it some flavor. Others may love it as it is, but I wasn't a huge fan. It might be because I ordered more of a Cantonese entree and I'm more of a Szechuan fan... The lady behind the counter was very nice and the place was clean. My food came out fairly quick as well and there's enough of the pan fried noodles for at least two meals. It's a no frills restaurant and most of their business is carryout.“

“Recently moved to the area, and ordered sweet&sour chicken, pepper steak, egg drop soup and almond chicken, oh yeah and shrimp fried rice.By far, THE BEST CHICKEN, with the sweet and sour. There weren’t any weird shapes, or extra crispy pieces. This was the best I’ve had.My mom said her shrimp fried rice was very good, and had plenty of shrimps!Very very pleased!“

“This is the only place that I get my Chinese food from; usually my first or second stop after arriving in Detroit. Shrimp fried rice, crab rangoon, beef and broccoli and pepper steak are my favs. Their food has been consistently good, and they have remained in the same location for over 30 years! Open Tuesday-Sunday, closed on Mondays. Check out their menu here:“

“Sweet & sour chicken is the best to me. I love that they have actual pineapples in the sauce. I usually go down the street to Great Wall for their shrimp fried rice and egg rolls though. I really wish they would remodel the small spot because it's barely standing.Parking: Not much parking there you will have to park in front of the establishment literally and I don't mean on the street either.“

“Great food. I've been going here since the 80s. Had a dip in service and food in the past but bounced back in recent years. The atmosphere is alittle out dated but i have so many memories, so it's not a major knock on the business. 4.6 out of 5“

“First time getting food from here. I had Sweet and sour chicken. They gave a large portion with a beautiful presentation. The only complaint I have is the food was very bland. It could have been seasoned better. I will go back for a different selection.“

“This is by far my favorite Chinese food around. It is always huge portions and very tasty. Yes it is a hole in the wall establishment but the food is fantastic. They even have a new no meat fried rice which I liked. I personally do not like shrimp fried rice but if you do it is always buy one get one free. Their lo mein is really good. It is a great American version of Chinese food. I have been to Hong Kong so it is not traditional Chinese but still Delicious.Prices have increased only a tiny bit which is amazing in this economy. Still as tasty as ever.“

“Excellent rice, I like it when the man who cooks wears sleeveless flannel because when the sweat falls from the armpit and falls on the iron where he cooks and the steam sounds, that gives an exquisite taste to the food, the rice becomes saltier, it's not necessary. Ajinomoto is like an unpleasant flavor enhancer for fine palates, it has 2 flannels, the black one and the white one, the white one is the one that has the good power, it is already yellowish from so much use, but try to go when he is dressed like this, if he wears long-sleeved flannel the rice is very tasteless and tasteless, preferable to buy in hot weather“
