Could've been better (Yelp's 2/5 description) is on point. Food: got the marinated steak combo ($60). While known for 'high quality' meat, meat was not that. multiple pieces of steak not chewable. Tough (despite being cooked to less than well done quality). Also got the Kimchi Jiggae - odd flavor. I've never had something so sweet yet sour/spicy at the same time. Not pleasant. I also go the Sundubu Jjigae which was really nothing special and did not surpass other Korean restaurants like Chung Ki Wa/Soora. This place's specialty was KBBQ, and it was VERY sub-par. Service: Terrible. The bell to alert the server did not make the server come over. We were told we could only dine for one hour because of a reservation one hour later. At the one hour mark, there were plenty of tables, and this left a distaste for the restaurant when they said that. Could not get the hot plate changed for the longest time. Ambiance: very busy on Sunday brunch time. It seemed they were understaffed and overworked. This showed in their get in - get out - no attentiveness attitude.

Our food was very fresh and good. This was our first time eating at a Korean Barbeque. Nice atmosphere. Service was good too. We had the A2 pork combo and the A6 signature combo. Both very good! We would definitely go back.

Been coming here for some time now. Usually snag a reservation as this place gets busy! Always a pleasant experience. This time we ordered the premium glabi combo for two which was some of the freshest beef I've had in Michigan in some time. We frequent between a few place but I think this needs to remain the spot. They are constant and prices are good. Love that more things keep getting added to this area/ plaza.

Love this restaurant. I come here specifically for the rice cakes (Dukbokki). I usually don't get them with the fish cakes, but I enjoy them here. They are super fishy if you've never tried them. Definitely add ramen & cheese. Our service was quick & pleasant. The restaurant is definitely clean & well kept. Overall dining here is a great experience.

My family has been going here since it was Seoul Garden and it has only gotten better. Best KBBQ in Michigan!

I really liked everything except the japchae (not good, very bland), love love love their honey garlic wings. We also think the price is a bit high, but they have great service and food tastes good ?(they also charge you 20% tips automatically on the bill.)

It’s worth mentioning that this was my first time trying Korean BBQ so weigh that into the review. The food was great and I would definitely try this place out again. Portion size was perfect for the price. The building is very cool with a boba shop and store under the same roof. There were a few things I feel like could have made the experience better. First, when we ordered we got three appetizers and a shared Daebak Combo for 4 people. The combo platter showed up almost right away and the starters trickled in over the next 15 mins. The table we sat at was extremely overcrowded which made sharing and cooking pretty difficult. The second part was that when we asked the staff to give us a first timer rundown, they seemed annoyed and it wasn’t very helpful. They also didn’t mention the drawer under the table that was filled with chopsticks and extra napkins until the last 10 minutes of our meal when my chopsticks fell on the ground.I feel like seasoned vets of Korean BBQ will really enjoy it, but a warning to first timers. I’ll be back again to give it another shot.

The restaurant was busy. I'd definitely recommend placing a reservation ahead of time. The food was fantastic! The banchan was delicious, and the side salad hit the spot, refreshing your palette. We ordered the beef mandu, which was some of the best I've ever tasted. It was a fun experience with good meats! I also liked their button to call someone to your table. That was convenient. The ambiance was welcoming and not too loud. We would definitely return.

Great place, just slightly pricey. However, I would recommend this restaurant to everyone who's open to new things or to someone who loves Korean food.

If you've never been to a place that allows you to cook your food at the table it maybe a little confusing on what each item was. Extremely worth the experience. Everything tastes amazing. They do offer to cook it for you.

What a fun and new interesting place! The food was great, but the customer service was even better. We will definitely be coming back.

Fun. The family had a blast! Loved grilling the meat at the table, with really good bonchon!

I miss when this was New Seoul Garden. The food was delicious. I was craving Korean BBQ. So we tried this place because it was close to home. The service was excellent, but the food was terrible. They had the cheapest, chewiest cuts of meat. No matter how hard it was cooked it was tough and chewy. I kept having to spit it out. For reference I like beef medium rare, but the more rare it was it was even harder to chew. Never again. We will go to AA when we are craving Korean moving forward.
