“The service was great. The lady taking orders was very helpful and polite. We were driving through the area, and my daughter wanted chicken. We didn't know at the time that their fries and fried chicken came with a lemon pepper powder. So i tried to brush off the powder. I do think they should be telling this to people when they order. My daughter said the chicken was delicious and everything was very fresh. It's not really a place you go sit down and eat. There's only a few tables inside, it's more for carryout.“

“Love this place!!! The food is always fresh and hot! Service is speedy and the cashier and cooks are always so nice! When the girl cooks she makes sure her music is on and her food is good like a home cooked meal on thanksgiving! The homemade sauces!!! Chef's kiss!!! I would recommend over and over!“

“Fresh Fish Fresh Food! The food and flavors are sooooo consistent! And the staff be on it! But order ahead like 20-30mins because they do get swamped with orders. But it's worth it. It's not salty. Not over seasoned. Just perfect. I always get the catfish nuggets they are big portions fyi!“

“I picked up two chicken combos and they were fantastic! The chicken was moist and the coating was light and crispy. It actually crunched when we bit into it. The fries were perfect, too. Very crisp! This was our first time, we did a takeout and it was delicious! The woman who greeted me at the counter was friendly and gracious. She was also very helpful in helping me decide what to get. We’ll definitely return to Captain Jay’s! Hopefully they’ll keep their eye on the ball for consistency, and we’ll have another great experience in the future. Good work. “I order here at least twice a week for lunch at work. The salad's are the best, with great portions & always loaded with all the toppings. I don't order the pizza as often but when I do I'm never dissapointed. Super friendly, great serivce! If you haven't tried it, you're missing out.“

“You buy, they fry set up. Steamed is an option too. They also sell fresh fish and seafood, with some sides. Extra spices are 1.00. Reasonably priced, cooked to order. The walk in wait was about 15 minutes. I'd stop in again if I ever go back that way.“
