My husband had to go back home for a day and I asked him to stop and get my usual Greek salad with extra feta and a side of grilled chicken. They packaged everything for me and HOOKED it up! My husband got his lentil soup and it was just as good as it was 4 years ago! Generous portions and fresh food...even after a 1 1/2 plane ride! I HAD to call them today in the middle of eating my salad to say thank you!!!! Me and my boyfriend come here all the time to get chicken shawarma’s and they are always fresh and delicious! We ordered from door dash tonight and had some complications because they close at 10 and even though we called Alex’s to make sure they would still let our dasher pick up our order, door dash still canceled it, but Alex’s made sure we still got our order! “Food is 5 star. There are many Mediterranean restaurants or Arabic restaurants in metro Detroit, but not a lot of them are Syrian. Have you ever had cherry kabob, no, then you have to come here. Everything else is great too. One of the best fattoush salad I ever had.The only knock I give them is that their pita bread taste like from the grocery store. It is cold and tough. Also the restaurant is getting old.“

This hole in the wall had one of the best rotisserie chickens I've had in a while, and the toum and pickles made it a perfect bite. Just make sure you order before 12 because this is a very popular item and the bread runs out fast. No complaints authentic sandwiches and baked items. Tarboush gets 5 stars. Quality ingredients, recipes, and customer service. One of my favorite places in Dearborn.“
