All of my visits have been for lunch / early afternoon. They give you a wonderful cup of homemade chips when you are seated which are highly addictive!”

“I recommend the rice bowl. You can choose what meat (protein) you want. The ingredients are perfectly proportioned from the amount of meat, rice, lettuce, onion, tomato, tzatziki. “This is a nice small store of UMN cheeses, meats, honey, and ice creams. Their variety is a bit surprising given the small store size. They are located in room 166 and open Wednesday afternoons 2:00 - 5:00.”

“I love toppers but this is the second time where they have forgotten to put some toppings on my pizza. Which is sad because the nacho cheese is my favorite part. ? it could have something to do with the intensely strong smell of weed that always radiates out of there. Foods great, smell is not, and please just stop forgetting the toppings ??”

“Visited 4/15/24. Back at BLG. As always, give yourself time (and money) for parking. I like the ramp across the street vs trying to find street parking. We got a reservation in advance which was good because this place was popping on a Monday night! To start, we split the garlic and EVOO and then the charred red onion with goat cheese bruschettas. My sister and I were partial to the goat cheese one but both were solid. I got the gnocchi with cauliflower and orange (my fave), my sister got the red wine with pine nut spaghetti, and my mom got the mushroom and taleggio agnolotti. I've had the gnocchi before and it was just as good this time. The sleeper hit of the night was as the red wine with pine nut spaghetti-honestly a good price for the portion size and the overall flavor. The agnolotti was rich but delicious. Honestly everything that I've had at BLG has been on the richer side but that's low key how I prefer my Italian food. I love this place and would recommend it to anyone. Old school Italian meets modern in a trendier place that still feels homestyle like my Italian grandma's kitchen.”

“Fantastic staffs! Inventive menu and cocktails. Our server, Sydney, was fabulous (along with her colleagues) keeping us hydrated. The Pomme Dauphines were beautifully done! The Paper Plane tasted great. My wife really enjoyed the Halibut. The Mussel Soup (Billy Bi Soup) was divine and the Octopus Bolognese was heavy on the tomatoes (a bit too acidic for me). Our friends also enjoyed the Halibut and Spring Chicken. The desserts were game changer: the Carrot Cake and Lemon Tart were exceptional. I wish the dining room has more dampening materials as it was hard to have a conversation.”

“My gal-pals and I had the most lovely dinner! First the restaurant was amazing... so excited to be there. bBut then we were offered a table on the patio! On a 72* afternoon?? YES PLEASE!! Our server was an absolute delight! Knowing when to let us chat and when she needed to take our order! The drinks were fantastic, with some unique flavors! The Paloma punch seemed normal... til you taste the sugar rimmed glass! Yummmm! But the food. WHY is my stomach so small????? For 4 people we got 6 small plates. It was perfect! The Gem salad was delicious, and much bigger than I thought it would be !! Charred cucumbers? Yes, Ima give it an OMgosh! A flavor combo and presentation I couldn't have dreamed up! Salt and Pepper mushrooms... friend and I are making plans of how we're going to duplicate the recipe. Garganelli... my personal fav. Absolutely delicious pasta. And let's not forget about the grilled broccolini. All with a side of focaccia. Go! Get a table on the patio and enjoy this beautiful restaurant!! Share some small plates and you'll be happy you did!!”

“We were here for dinner over the weekend and everything about this place was phenomenal we tried multiple things off of the to share or not portion of the menu and loved every bit of it. The whole grilled fish our waitress mentioned rotates depending on what is available fresh and it was cooked to Perfection and probably our favorite thing all weekend. The cocktail menu is unique and everything that we had the opportunity to try was delicious I highly recommend doing the cocktail flight to anybody who doesn't have a favorite spirit. Staff was incredibly friendly and knew what they were talking about if you had questions. To those looking at going here reservations are a must!!!! Great atmosphere as well”

“We enjoyed beer from La Doña at the Winter Beer Dabbler and, looking to try even more of their brews, started visiting the Minneapolis brewery. Since then, It’s become a new favorite hangout spot! The drinks (beer and beer cocktails) are delicious, and there’s plenty of fresh, flavorful food pretty much always available. The nachos and mole beer are not to be missed! We especially enjoy sitting on the patio, and we’re excited to check out the new soccer field when it’s finished. We’re happy to have found this fun and friendly brewery!”

“Hyacinth is a keeper. Creative food, well prepared, small but extremely well chosen wines. Portions were large, a bit too large in my view. Hyacinth is one of the few restaurants in the post Covid dining world that is daring to show us how innovative dining can be done.”

“I tried several of the signature cocktails and they were lovely. Tiny, adorable, and tasty. Our wings got lost, but the staff was apologetic. I looked over the menu online before going and was hoping to order the risotto, but it wasn't on the menu in person. It was probably seasonal and the website hadn't been updated yet. I would go again, just for the ambience though.”

“First time here! Admittedly we drove right past it at first! Service was great! The burger and sprouts were excellent! Gnocchi wasn't my favorite but was still good. We also ordered a dessert to go- ordered the crème brûléed pie but when we opened the container at home found the dark chocolate cake. It was good but I'm not a huge chocolate fan. Ambiance was eclectic, though we both noted that the restrooms sort of ruined the cool vibe. They didn't really fit with the restaurant style and theme.”
