“I had the sour wheat lavender beer, tenderloin tips and steak sandwich. It was all very good. Wife had wings with the Thai Chili sauce. She liked it very much. The place was right across the street from our hotel. It was all very good. Definitely give it a try.“

“Love CRAVE. Always enjoy being there. The ambience and service are first rate. Today, though, ordered an old favorite, Thai Chicken Salad, and was disappointed. The vegetables were limp, the chicken rubbery. I'll return to CRAVE certainly, but will choose a different entree.“

“We were here for dinner over the weekend and everything about this place was phenomenal we tried multiple things off of the to share or not portion of the menu and loved every bit of it. The whole grilled fish our waitress mentioned rotates depending on what is available fresh and it was cooked to Perfection and probably our favorite thing all weekend. The cocktail menu is unique and everything that we had the opportunity to try was delicious I highly recommend doing the cocktail flight to anybody who doesn't have a favorite spirit. Staff was incredibly friendly and knew what they were talking about if you had questions. To those looking at going here reservations are a must!!!! Great atmosphere as well“

“4/17/24: The three of us enjoyed a lovely dinner but more than the food was our wonderful server. I WISH I would have asked for her name!! She was simply outstanding. She helped my wife decide on some “gluten free” options, and she was spot on with her suggestions! We shared a bottle of the Raymond Chardonnay, the Ahi Crisps on cucumbers, the Crispy Shrimp w/Dragon Sauce & Togarashi, the Boneless GF Dry Rub Wings and finally the Buffalo Cauliflower. Because of our server we will return!“

“My gal-pals and I had the most lovely dinner! First the restaurant was amazing... so excited to be there. bBut then we were offered a table on the patio! On a 72* afternoon?? YES PLEASE!! Our server was an absolute delight! Knowing when to let us chat and when she needed to take our order! The drinks were fantastic, with some unique flavors! The Paloma punch seemed normal... til you taste the sugar rimmed glass! Yummmm! But the food. WHY is my stomach so small????? For 4 people we got 6 small plates. It was perfect! The Gem salad was delicious, and much bigger than I thought it would be !! Charred cucumbers? Yes, Ima give it an OMgosh! A flavor combo and presentation I couldn't have dreamed up! Salt and Pepper mushrooms... friend and I are making plans of how we're going to duplicate the recipe. Garganelli... my personal fav. Absolutely delicious pasta. And let's not forget about the grilled broccolini. All with a side of focaccia. Go! Get a table on the patio and enjoy this beautiful restaurant!! Share some small plates and you'll be happy you did!!“

“This is just a fantastic place! It's been one of my top places in Minneapolis for at least a decade and never fails to disappoint. It strikes a nice balance of being classic and fresh. With the bonus of having stellar food and service. Somehow I still think it's underrated with all the restaurant opening up. But if you want a top-tier place that never fails to disappoint, hit up the eatery!PS The butterscotch budino continues to be my favorite dessert.“

“We had our best restaurant experience at Spoon and Stable. Service was impeccable, cocktails were delightful, food was stellar. We shared the bison tartare, snap pea salad, and torchietti pasta for starters. All were terrific. I had the artic char and it was cooked to perfection. Wife had the pork chop and was thrilled. Son had rib eye and ranked it as the 2nd best steak he's ever eaten, behind only Peter Luger in NY. Mother had the Alaskan halibut and loved it. We capped it off with Chocolate Budino, yum, and honey & cream cake, also yum. A fantastic carajillo dessert cocktail put an exclamation point on what was an all around excellent evening.“

“We love the Sample Room - always have, always will! We had an excellent experience at the bar for Dine Out For Life - Richard took awesome care of us & the food was delicious! Highly recommend the lion's mane mushroom cakes, trout croquettes, & the mussels (personally we'd skip the sausage, takes away from the mussels). Overall, fantastic dining, thank you!“

“Truly a dining experience like no other. The food is delicious - I eat the steak every single time I go because it is my favorite food in the world. I'm pretty sure everything on their menu is made from scratch and every flavor is perfect. They take such care and pay such huge attention to the details. The wine pairings are out of this world, and it's such a luxury to turn off my brain and just know that every sip will be perfect. And the service is the warmest, most competent and most genuine service I have ever experienced. You will feel cared for without feeling smothered, and they will go above and beyond to make sure you are enjoying every moment.“

“best place in the twin cities. I remember when there was only beer and wine behind the bar and they sold single cigarettes. Dinner was a baguette and a roasted bulb of garlic and a bottle of wine. theater in the back with story tellers and fringe artists that kept this transplanted nyer here in the twin cities for 30 years.“

“This is a quaint restaurant with a high-end tasting menu. You start your journey at the concierge booth, which also doubles as hotel check-in. They escort you through large doors and seat you immediately, assuming you made reservations in advance. Our server was very attentive to our needs and explained the pairing for each of the courses we had. The food was definitely a journey for you palate. The caliber of the kitchen is topnotch! The kitchen is open and right next to the dining area, and we didn't hear a peep out of the chefs. That just shows you the quality of professionalism they have. Smooth and running like a well-oiled machine. I would highly recommend celebrating a special occasion with Alma!“

“Came for brunch at 1pm on a Saturday and there was a lot of available seating. We got the gem lettuce salad, American Burger, and French toast and all 3 were very good. The salad has lots of fresh herbs, and the dressing was very flavorful. The burger was the perfect indulgent meal with tons of oozy cheese, fresh pickles and a good crust on the outside of the patties (like a smash burger). The French toast was made using in house bread, and had a beautiful custardy inside and crunchy outside. I made sure to cover every bite with the blueberry sauce. It wasn't too sweet, but it still felt decadent. The restaurant has a chic industrial feel with lots of natural lights and a few plants. I would come back here in a heartbeat!“

“Tenant is a great experience start to finish. I recommend going a bit earlier, so you can start by their bar next door - literally named Next Door so you don't get confused - where you can start with a cocktail. You're then moved to the dining room - either chef's counter or one of the few tables - and are treated to a tasting menu by the incredibly friendly and competent Tenant team. All the dishes served were delicious and the chef's counter spots are perfect to watch the magic happening in this friendly and cozy setting. Loved all the dishes, with particular highlight to the shrimp ravioli paired with beet cubes. Nice wine pairing as well.“

“Everything served to our table was delicious! Our server was Chris and he was SO NICE!! We were a little hurried, as we had a show to go to. Chris managed to keep things moving and keep us on time, but we never felt rushed. We had a very enjoyable meal.“
“A nice old time venue where you are close to the artist. We have been there 3-4 times. The employees are fantastic. Good food down below and good drinks. However, we went to the band Augustana which we have 5-6 times, and the sound system was horrible.“

“Jeremy (server) was amazing. The burger ( Barcelona ) was outstanding. You must have the coleslaw with it because the flavors explode, and the coleslaw brings a fresh balance . When I cut the burger in half, the juice oozed. 1st time. It's a must if you are adventurous with food.“

“Arrived on Sunday for brunch (with a reservation!) to find there was no host & restaurant was dead (2 parties in the restaurant & a person sitting at the bar). After peeping into the restaurant 3-4 times & seeing 2 servers ignoring us (not busy!), someone finally agreed he'd seat us. This is a beautiful space. We had a booth by the bar. Service was attentive once we got seated. The brunch Old Fashioned was definitely on point. The hash was disappointing, flavorful but mostly potatoes & little hash topped w/ an almost raw egg. Shrimp & grits were the very item we had - grits were worthy of being taken home for another day.“

“I come to and enjoy Brasa consistently enough that I should finally write a review. The short: service is consistently friendly and helpful, food is consistently good, great gluten-free option with (thus far) no cross-contamination incidents, and a very casual atmosphere. All of my friend group have different favorites: the egg sandwich, the pork bowl, the chilaquiles (my personal favorite.) Every protein comes in different forms: a plate, a sandwich, or a bowl. Most options (except the sandwiches and a couple of sides) are gluten-free. Quick run down of what I've tried: * Chilaquiles with red sauce (the GOAT): the red sauce is such a great flavor and pairs well with the smothered chicken. Their pickled jalapenos and an egg on top makes it a perfect weekend lunch dish. * Egg sandwich: the red sauce reappears on this, to great effect once more. Otherwise it's a simple-but-great egg sandwich served with their tortilla chips. * Fish sandwich: not bad, not my favorite. Flavors are not as punchy as the other options I've had. * Mac and cheese: delightful and simple, thick cheese sauce, no complaints. Crispy yuca, fried plantains, sweet cornbread, also all good. Really, the menu is full of great options. Their beverages don't disappoint either, the coffee and tea are very nice quality -- tea always comes out with a great color and flavor (not bitter at all), coffee pleases even the pickiest coffee nerds in my friend group. Also: no tipping, service fees are built into the menu prices.“

“It has been over a decade since I've been here and I'm so glad I returned. 1st of all, food was fantastic. The bacon was super tasty, the hash browns perfectly crisped without being too greasy, the eggs basted soft (though the tiniest part of a white underdone far better than crispy imo), and their homemade blackberry ginger jam so delicious I used my multi grain bread to scoop up as much as possible. The coffee had a good flavor which is key for me. It is super strong for those who like that - for those who don't, get a little side of hot water to dilute it.Surprisingly, the prices are reasonable for a downtown restaurant. My husband got a breakfast burrito and pop and I got a classic breakfast with coffee. Our bill before tax and service charge was just under $40. They have a 15% service charge but explain on the menu and online that it goes to staff. Tipping is additional but service is so good they deserve more. The decor is like a modern twist on an old fashioned supper club, with many Minnesotan references and artwork.I learned that they are now employee-owned, and celebrating 22 years! My next visit back will not be so far in the future...“

“Cheerful and professional service from Sydney. Great artichoke dip and nice smooth lattes. The hibiscus orange tart has great flavor, but a little odd in texture for me. A wonderful option within walking distance of the XCel and Science Museum.“

“The food was very good. The service was very good. The atmosphere was lovely. the prices are very reasonable. No sur charges! And they were patient with us hogging our table at Easter brunch for two hours. (we felt bad) Tommy one of the sous chefs was our waiter. He was great. One of the best all around restaurants in North East Minneapolis if not Minneapolis as a whole. We are definitely going back. Give them a try, you will leave their full and content.“

“I've had the burger 3 times and it has never been good, always over salted and over cooked. Their fried chicken sandwich however is very well made.Servers have been friendly and prompt every time. The ambience is great, the lights are dim, and it feels cozy. The music however is way too loud. At the bar, it registers on my Apple Watch at around 78-80dB.The cocktails are easily the highlight. I've had a few of the house cocktails and they've all been top tier. They also make the IBA classics extremely well. They're brave enough to offer to put an egg white in the whisky sour and it definitely pays off.“

“Great vibes. They serve food directly from Mannys so it's awesome. Great cocktails. Lovely fire and just a nice place to start your night before heading elsewhere or catch a drink. They usually have a dj which is awesome. The waiters are super nice and helpful and do their best to serve you. Overall this place leaves up to its name. Very laid back like you're in your living room getting ready for a pregame. Enjoy!“

“It's been a while since my last visit to Ray J's, and I've always enjoyed their amazing wings. Last night, I opted for their Monday special – a $7 burger with fries – and it truly surpassed my expectations! The burger was juicy and cooked to perfection, while the fries were hot, crispy, and accompanied by California toppings that made it an outstanding deal. I'm looking forward to returning soon and bringing some friends along!“

“We stopped in for some Wrecktangle pizza at 1:00 on a sleepy Mother’s Day and took a seat at the central bar. This was the second food hall we enjoyed on this trip to Minneapolis. The first was Graze a couple of blocks away from the North Loop Gallery. BTW, this space has nothing to do with art. It’s a poor choice of name. Even if “Food” was used as an adjective before Gallery, it would make more sense. Sean was our charming bartender, and his sincerity helped brighten up an already beautiful day. We spoke of the wonders of the Twin Cities while enjoying beer and pizza. That’s a close to perfect Sunday in May.“

“I had an absolutely horrible experience here there was about 30 other patrons inside puttery Monday night and everyone was taking turns slapping my balls laughing at me and calling me "little balls" saying hey there "little balls" or "why don't you grow some bigger balls little balls" i'm hurt, embarrassed, and ashamed. :( i'll try again tomorrow“

“This brunch spot is adorable and has excellent food and drinks. The service wasn’t great - no one explained to us the self serve area vs full service area when we walked in, just stared at us. Another group walked in behind us and the staff then proceeded to explain everything quite kindly to them. The staff member that took our order at the counter acted quite annoyed and barely spoke to us.“

“I'm a staunch supporter of restaurants blazing the trail for tipless pricing as it tends to be more equitable for staff and simpler and more transparent for all. Brasa is tipless, saying it pays its workers $16-25/hr, and it does everything right: delicious rotisserie chicken (pollo a la brasa), tasty sides (the spicy creamed spinach wasn't actually spicy hot, but it was tangy and creamy), fast service, and reasonable prices---remember, no tipping expected. The two-piece rotisserie plate is $15 as of this writing and is enough to satisfy most appetites. An excellent deal for food this delicious and well-prepared. The décor and vibe is very nice too.“

“Date Night on Thursday was delicious. We chose the date night menu which has lots of options. Reasonably priced, too. My salmon had the right balance and even the portion seemed small initially, turns out they knew what they were doing. Partner had the ravioli which was also very good. We had room for a fresh, warm cookie dessert and ice cream. We'll be back. Just sorry it took us so long to find this treasure.“
