“The beer selection was pretty good. A lot of what you see around town, but plenty of options. The atmosphere was bright and lively. We decided to try it out on a trivia night, but the trivia was kinda boring if I’m being honest. Compared to the trivia nights I’ve done in other locations around the metro area, this one was at the bottom. Other than that, the bar itself was great, and the bartenders were helpful with drink suggestions. I wouldn’t mind coming back out when the food trucks are outside and getting the full experience.“

“I've always experienced great food and customer service here! Whether I'm eating by myself, with the kiddo or with a whole group of people, it's always amazing! They will happily explain any item and even take the time to help you fix your Spanish speaking grammar (which made the group experience much more fun and memorable!)“

“100/10. Walked over last night to try it out. Ordered 6 things from the menu to try a little of everything and I still can’t decide which one is my favorite- I do know nothing was bad though! Great menu, great pricing, great cocktails. What a fantastic addition to Soulard- exactly what was needed!!!! Can’t wait to go back!“

“My friend who lives in the area took me to The Gramophone, and let me tell you, it did NOT disappoint! This place is like a two-in-one - a happening bar with a HUGE selection of beers, but also with some seriously delicious sandwiches. I wasn't expecting much from a pub's food menu, but I was wrong.Picking a sandwich was the hardest part - they all sounded so good. As a part-time vegetarian, I went with the Mushroom Mississippi Nights, and it was ?. Highly recommend it to any veggie fan out there! The beer selection was equally impressive. They have tons of craft beers on tap, along with bottles and cans.Honestly, if I lived in St. Louis, I'd be here all the time trying a different sandwich every month. I loved it so much, I even took one back home with me ?.Highly recommend checking out The Gramophone if you're about sandwiches.“

“Hands down best food we had on our entire vacation! Fall-off-the-bone BBQ chicken, best friend catfish I think I've ever had, and OMG you have to try the baked beans!!!!! Fabulous, welcoming, friendly staff and environment. Highly recommend, and will definitely be stopping by every time we pass through St. Louis (we're from Texas, but travel a few times a year).“

“If you thought you knew hot dogs, think again! Steve's Hot Dogs in St. Louis, MO, is where your hot dog dreams come true, and it's nothing short of a five-star culinary adventure! Located in the heart of the city, Steve's Hot Dogs is like a beacon of joy for those in search of a meal that's both comforting and out-of-the-ordinary. The moment you step inside, you're greeted by an atmosphere that's as vibrant as the flavors on offer. It's casual, it's energetic--it's the place to shake off your blues and dig into some seriously good eats. Steve's isn't just slinging your standard dogs; oh no, they are crafting masterpieces tucked neatly into buns. Each hot dog is a hero in its own right, topped with an array of ingredients that turn a simple meal into a feast for the senses. Try the "Gorilla Mac & Cheese Dog," a fan favorite that combines the gooey richness of macaroni with the smoky goodness of a perfectly grilled hot dog, or dare to conquer the "Bacon Bacon Jamaican" with its bold, spicy jerk seasoning and crispy bacon that's as delightful as a sunny day at a St. Louis park. The sides are just as commendable--crispy tater tots and chili cheese fries that are the epitome of comfort food. Each bite feels like a warm hug from an old friend. And let's not forget the service. The team at Steve's treats everyone like a local celeb, with smiles and service so warm you'll want to return before you've even left. “Can be a little loud when they are busy. Food is good and you get lots, won't leave hungry.Parking: Depending on how busy they are, sometimes parking is not great. Restaurant shares parking with a convenience type store/sandwich shop, and I believe a laundromat around the corner.“

“Great place for a night out with the friends or significant other. Loved the games and the pizza is over the top. Only problem is why don’t they close that damn door when it’s cold outside makes you uncomfortable when you’re walking around feels like I’m still outside when I’m not.“
“Great drinks and the owner is always so accommodating. I’ve yet to have a bad drink or a bad time there. One of the coolest, most unpretentious bars in town.“

“I would put myself in debt to eat this food, It's so incredible the head chef is brilliant, and the staff from the front of the house to the back make the entire experience a joy. the wild boar and polenta is writing home about worthy, and the tirimisu makes me emotional... the pizza is literally the only pizza in st louis worth eating and I'm from Chicago so I feel like my opinion is extra valid lol. there are a ton of "fancy restaurants" in St. Louis but table cloths and wine selection don't mean crap when the menu of a reasonably priced pizza joint makes your food look like McDonald's by comparison.“
“Cozy and fun. A place to share with friends.“

“I go here every week for trivia and it's amazing all around. The staff is friendly and cool, the food is ALWAYS fantastic (I have an actual fear of mayonnaise but I dip their fries in their house rosemary mayo and it's incredible). The owner is really awesome and the trivia is the best in town. Great vibes! There's a pool table and darts, bathrooms are spacious and clean (and gender inclusive). This is a great spot whether you're here for a beer with your friends or for a delicious dinner. Can't recommend it enough.“
“The basement speakeasy under Grand Spirits had a very eclectic layout and decor and a very chill vibe; minimalistic with great music. A perfect hangout spot. Very few tables, so reservations are needed on weekends for sure. Your reservation gets you about 90 minutes of time on busy weekends; longer if there aren't reservations behind you. Cocktails range from twists on old classics (Manhattan, Daquiri, Sazerac) to very inventive / experimental flavors and textures. We had the Tunnel Vision, Daiquiri, Kitchen Sink, Sazerac among others. We enjoyed everything we had. Service was attentive and informative as well. We did not try the food. Would definitely recommend.“

“I loved this place. The staff was very nice. I had no wait at the bar and while the building itself is a little small, the atmosphere was just pure fun. I went there to see Al1ce and I will definitely return for more live music.Vegetarian options: There was a veggie pizza optionDietary restrictions: I'm Jewish so I couldn't eat the pepperoni pizza nor the sausage but they still had a few pizza options that I could enjoy.“
“Decent venue, bathrooms pretty clean, seating nice. Alcohol is served here. They have metal detectors in use so if you have anything that can be possibly be used as a weapon, leave it in your car or you will have to make a trip back to your car.“

“I stopped in for a visit to see the amazing collection of art and other decorations. I was not disappointed. Everything from the walls to floors to ceiling plus everything else in the cafe was all visually interesting. There were definitely things I liked and some not so much. It's obviously a local hang out where everyone knows each other. While called a cafe, it's a bar. There's no food except some pretzels available. They do serve canned soda for anyone not drinking.I went in the afternoon when they opened. They are also known for their nightly entertainment. On Mondays it's open mic night but the rest of the week brings in a variety of musical groups.“

“We stopped here after Paint Louis as it was recommended for its Gluten-free menu and what a great find! The cider flight was perfect as was our appetizer, main meal and dessert (hey, ya gotta have dessert when the rest of the meal was so awesome!). We wound up taking 2 growlers of cider with us and will be back again!“
