I tend to be a one trick pony when it comes to my coffee order but I am never disappointed when I go out of my comfort zone and try their suggestions. Seating upstairs is a hidden treasure. My mom came from out of state and wanted to come because of how accommodating and patient the staff was.“

Another good deal is bagel Tuesday, when you can get 13 bagels for $9.50, and their family value feists.Interesting fact: it's located across the street from the site if the first St. Louis Bread Company (closed when they opened this one), which was a tenant in the little shopping center. “I cannot express to you how much I love this place. The shop is locally owned and operated by a family. They are the friendliest people. Their Ethiopian macchiato is my favorite drink. It is rich and authentic. I have tried their mango smoothies and just had a frozen coffee drink today. The quality of their espresso is best in class. Highly recommend trying if you appreciate "real" coffee. They offer punch cards if you want to be a frequent customer and receive a free beverage after so many visits. The shop is clean. Good ambiance if you have work or studying to do with free WiFi. Only positive to say about this venue.“

“I consider myself a donut connoisseur, and I've had donuts at several of the popular spots around town. The Sweet Spot's donuts are among the best in town. I'm a big apple fritter enthusiast, and I really enjoyed the style here. Tons of apple bits and great cinnamon flavor. The strawberry cheesecake donut was superb, as were the old fasioneds and the glazed chocolate cake donut. 10/10 I'll be back the next time I'm in north county.“

“I read the reviews and I totally agree - best bubble tea I've had in STL. You can customize sugar WITHOUT getting a weak drink. They have tons of fresh additions - like fresh taro in your drink. My ube milk tea had actual fresh ube in it, so delicious, and I'm happy I can enjoy bubble tea without essentially drinking cups of sugar. The chili BBQ curly fries and potstickers are delicious.“

And the staff was so incredibly nice. Our waiter was outstanding. Probably some of the best genuine service I’ve ever received. I wish I could remember his name to give him his credit. I only deducted a star because they were out of the ingredients dish my friend wanted and the bacon and cheese potatoes were a bit over charred. But overall the food was delicious.“

“I was surprised to find nuts on my southwest chicken salad. I don't care for nuts, the ingredients weren't listed anywhere that I could see, and I've never encountered them on a southwest salad. I didn't want to waste the salad and im not allergic, so I picked them off. The rest of the salad was delicious. After I ate it, I realized there were more than just the three salad choices I saw in the first box. Just a little confusing but otherwise great place.“

I strongly advise including the vegetarian patty along with the salad (P22). Since I couldn’t commit to so many large chocolate options.I did get the large raspberry lemon one. I’m a chocolate fan, and this one blew me away. The service has changed from full service waitstaff to a more casual order at the counter and take number style. The ambiance hasn't changed much. It's very cozy but did get a little loud during peak times. The food has also changed. They've scaled back the menu options. The breakfast sandwiches we ordered were delicious, but not at the same near gourmet level that they were two years ago. Overall our thought is that it's a nice local eatery. Because of all the menu changes we aren't in a hurry to return, but if you're going for the first time and don't have previous experience here you'll find the food well crafted and prepared and great coffee/ beverage options.“
