This bakery is hands down the best in St. Louis. The service is prompt and the bakery is clean. Every item on the menu is amazing and I wish I could eat here every day. The croissants are fresh and flaky and the desserts are mouth watering. I always recommend this place to my friends and family.
The Nathaniel Reid Bakery is beautiful!! I had been meaning to try it for a while (have heard rave reviews about how they have some of the best croissants in the country!!) and it did not disappoint. The croissants are very flakey--the two I tried so far were the chocolate almond (super yummy with perfect balance, and not overpowering chocolate) and the savory ham/Gruyère. Update: What a fantastic place! Along with lots (!!!) of other people, I came in the day before Mother's Day. They were properly staffed, and there was still a great selection of items, despite the crowd and large number of pre-orders. Staff was very pleasant, as always. If only more businesses were run like this!!!!The delicious (and beautiful) treats here are only surpassed by the amazing customer service.
