“We got the breakfast burrito, the mushroom and spinach hash and a refill coffee. The coffee my wife said was delicious. The hash was ordered without pesto but it came with pesto, so we got to try both, I preferred it without, she preferred it with. If you love pesto get it, otherwise if you want to taste the other ingredients order without the pesto. The breakfast burrito was ok but nothing special, the vegan chili seems more like a chipotle sauce then a chili.“

This was my first time trying their espresso, and it is equally good in its own way. I may be ordering it again. Also got a 4pack of cold brew to go and added chocolate milk at home, I like 30% milk to 70% cold brew ratio.“

“I read the reviews and I totally agree - best bubble tea I've had in STL. You can customize sugar WITHOUT getting a weak drink. They have tons of fresh additions - like fresh taro in your drink. My ube milk tea had actual fresh ube in it, so delicious, and I'm happy I can enjoy bubble tea without essentially drinking cups of sugar. The chili BBQ curly fries and potstickers are delicious.“

I only deducted a star because they were out of the ingredients dish my friend wanted and the bacon and cheese potatoes were a bit over charred. But overall the food was delicious.“

“I've been a loyal customer of The Annex since it first opened in our neighborhood a few years ago. Every other Saturday, I come here for their breakfast burrito that comes with an incredible avocado crema. I did notice that the portion sizes have decreased while the prices have risen. The service is friendly, with welcoming cashiers and baristas at the front counter where you order food and drinks. I've tried their quiche and lunch sandwiches, which were just okay. The Seasonal Ube Latte was amazing, but unfortunately, it's no longer available. Their other coffee offerings are decent. On the pastry front, the blueberry lemon muffin and almond croissant are my go-tos. They often sell out if you arrive late in the morning! It's a cute spot to grab last-minute gifts. They've even started carrying my favorite hummus, which was previously only available at the local Farmers Market. Just note that some items are temporary or seasonal. They have expanded to include an ice cream side and we look forward to trying it some time.“

We have even gone on busy days (today during the race) and the baristas were super nice, helpful, and greeted us with a smile. “Hands down the best crepes in St. Louis!! I love going for breakfast and getting a simple bacon, cheddar, and egg crepe with an iced coffee. They have a ton of sweet and savory crepes to choose from. Our favorite sweet crepe is just simple Nutella, strawberries, and granola topping! If you are going on the weekends expect a line, but it moves fast! All of the staff are amazing and very friendly! After you order you will find a seat or the staff will help you. The ambiance of the restaurant is cute and cozy, like you are at a French bistro! Again, 10/10 would highly recommend!“
