“Prairie Pie has a stylish and relaxing atmosphere with a delicious variety of sweet and savory pies. I don't think you can go wrong with ordering here!Bonus: We went with our two young kids and there was plenty of kid friendly seating for us.Vegetarian options: Most of the menu is vegetarian, aside from the meat pie offerings.Parking: Free street parking in front of the shop and a free parking lot around the corner of the shop.Kid-friendliness: A wide variety of seating options with a chill and vibrant environment. “I recently attended a wedding where Nothing Bundt Cakes was used for the “cake”. It was actually the smaller bundtinis. These were the most delicious moist flavorful sweets I’ve ever had!!!! Hands down would have to be the best wedding cake ever! Good job!!!“

“So I have a wheat allergy, and have been going to neighbors mill for a long time because I can have the spelt oat bread. Here recently the customer service has gone way down hill. Today I called a head and order a grilled cheese on spelt, a tomato soup, and a salad and told them “no bread on the side.” When I got there I checked my food (because I have ordered this before and still end up with bread on the salad and have to give it away) and the salad had the focaccia in with it. So I told the lady checking me out that it needs to be remade, and her response to me was “well you should have told us.” (It was written on the receipt) so while I was waiting for that I asked for a spelt pumpkin muffin, paid for it and went on my way. At a stop light I had realized that she had given me a regular pumpkin muffin. So I turned around and when I got there she said “what’s wrong now?” And I told her that she put a regular muffin in my bag when I had asked for a spelt one because of my allergy. Needless to say I’m done, between what happened today and a buddy of mine used to work there and he told me that they treat their employees like garbage. Now they’re treating their customers the same way.“

“Stumbled upon this place while looking for a local coffee business to support. SO happy to find a vegan restaurant here in Springfield but even more happy to find they were absolutely delightful in every way imaginable! Great coffee and even better food, like holy wow! The ladies working were an absolute pleasure to deal with and offered to help me walk my large order to my vehicle since I was parked far away. Phenomenal biscuits and gravy and sausage and egg biscuit, unfortunately I think I was too late for any pastries as they seem to have been cleaned out but I think that’s pretty telling in itself, I can’t wait to come back for more. Sure hope this place sticks around, it’s a total gem and I’m so very happy to have found it! Highly, HIGHLY recommend to everyone!Vegetarian options: Full vegan restaurant but delicious enough for everyone, even if you’re not on a plant based diet, I suggest giving it a try!“

“The food is out of this world and the people are very friendly! However it does not feel like they want you to stay. There's no napkins available outside of the one they give you with your meal which is a problem with the deliciously messy food they have. There is very limited seating and the seating there is is an awkward height, hard, uncomfortable and you can't sit across from people, only next to them, which there's not much room for that either. They could also use some decorations in their windows. Hopefully as they grow they'll get a better designer and some more napkins because the food really is amazing!“

The Venturella family has taken pains to accommodate a wide range of customers. There are high-top and normal tables with good outlet access for your laptop or tablet. There are sections of upholstered chairs for a comfortable social gathering or curling up to a good book. A more secluded area with a couch and chairs is also available. Just to cover all of the possible needs of a customer, there is also a conference room for you Bible study or company meeting.The pastries are all made from scratch either on site or at their Boomer location. With expert knowledge of coffee and tea, you can't go wrong with any of their brewed drinks, but some are good and others are great! The lunch menu does not disappoint, offering quite a selection of options.The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and courteous. Orders are completed promptly and with care. As a testament to their customer retention, they have quite a few regulars.All-in-all, Travellers House is a solid option for about any type of coffee or tea related occasion. I cannot recommend them highly enough.Wheelchair accessibility: I regularly see myriad personal transportation devices come in and out with ease. There is ready access from the parking lot to the front door.“

“This is a great authentic mexican grocery store in Springfield Mo. In the very back (behind the Pan dulce - mexican pastry section) right hand corner is a small restaurant. It was hard to find but don’t give up looking.We use to go to Leslie’s often when they were near Jim’s Steak House. We didn’t know where they moved too and we were so glad we found them again. This new store/restaurant is definitely bigger than the other location.“
