“Our group dropped in on a whim last night before a show downtown. The brothers were so friends. As soon as you walk in, we were greeted and just felt so welcomed. The food was very competitively priced and came out super quick. It was hot and fresh. It was the most delicious general chicken I’ve ever had in my life. We got to visit with the owners and they said they took it over a couple years ago but the business has been operating for over 30 years! I can see why. I cannot believe that I have never had The Riksha before but I guarantee I will be back!“

“Best comfort food chinese in town! I've spent probably $2,000 here in the past 5 years. I get the General Chicken "LARGE" and my wife gets the Sweet and Sour Chicken "Large". We get a large so it can feed myself, my wife and my 2 kids under 6 as well. and there is enough for lunch the next day!“

“This is the only drive through restaurant in town that consistently gets every order correct. Their food Is delicious. There maybe a tiny weight comer but it is well worth it.“

“I miss it! I travel for work and am only home on the weekends and you’re closed on the weekends now, which makes me really sad. Great food, though!“

“Good canton style rice, a little oil is expected. Overall good food, and great service. I gave it 4 stars because the building is a bit shabby, and the lomein wasn't very good. (Dry and salty)(could have beenthe last bit). Ill be back!“

“I had orange chicken through the drive through and the presentation was absolutely beautiful. This time I had fried tofu, was unremarkable. Their coconut chicken is a unique trademark of their's I'd say, I haven't had any complaints of the food the cooks made here.Thank you y'all for being up the street from my house. I appreciate the craftsmanship and passion in every dish I order.Vegetarian options: The tofu is prepared with the satisfying consistency as it should be. Nothing bland about it! I like to get the pieces and kind of dip it in my sauces for more of a dominate taste!Dietary restrictions: Ordering online let's you see heart healthy options, and also the exemption of MSG.Parking: The parking lot and drive through complimented each other well, unusualy any interfere with traffic.“

“The food is delicious, fresh and high quality. Service is efficient and courteous. I've been driving thru for years and it's been top-notch every time. Bonus is no extra charge for all white meat. Five stars for Cashew Station on E. Battlefield!“

“I'm not a picky eater, and I am frugal. That being said, I gave a solid 4 star rating because the food was good, the environment was clean, the service was quick, and the staff was polite. Of course, there is always room for improvement, but isn't that true of us all? May not be your cup of tea, but I do recommend it.Parking: I went during the lunch rush, it was busy, and there were still plenty of parking spaces and tables available.Wheelchair accessibility: There's a ramp to the sidewalk right next to the handicapped parking just outside the entrance. So, easily accessible I would say. ?“

“close to my apartment and always a good cheap food alternative! sometimes the portions could be bigger, like the wontons… the smallest bit of meat and the rest is just fried. other than that, it’s good for the price and location.Vegetarian options: From the rice, to the noodles, there’s a good option if you’re a vegetarian. it’s a very transparent menu so there’s no concern here trying to find somethingDietary restrictions: plenty of options, there’s something for everyone!Parking: free and open lot, it’s right off sunshine near a plaza so parking is endlessKid-friendliness: the drive thru is easy and fast if your kids are in a hurry, they have inside seating as well and a menu that has at least one thing for a picky eater.Wheelchair accessibility: there’s a drive thru and easy access ramp“

“Not all of their food is great, but their low mein noodles, fried rice and their appetizers are absolutely amazing. I've tried their other items, but honestly they're not really anything to hype up about. With how large their menu is, there's not a whole lot of options. I usually get my chicken or main entreys somewhere else and swing in here for the sides, because let's face it, this place has the best noodles and fried rice.“

“Great for creating your own meal. You get to choose your own items for your stir fry, and watch them cook it in front of you. You are also able to get as much as you like, so you can try different combinations.Vegetarian options: You can choose if you want meat or not.Kid-friendliness: They have kid options including a stir fry.“

“Very good Orange Chicken. I wish the fried rice would've have more egg in it. I liked the egg roll but think an egg roll and crab rangoon should be included with the price however they do give a large portion of rice. The restaurant was very clean. I noticed that very first thing I walked in, and the bathrooms are very clean also.“

“The negative reviews of this place are pretty funny. I noticed most of these people aren't from Springfield and clearly don't know what good Chinese food tastes like. They must be used to whatever passes for Chinese food where they live. Now that I've got that off my chest. Happy China is an amazing Chinese restaurant. The Hot Pepper Chicken is absolutely amazing, and their fried rice is really good as well. The Egg Rolls and Crab Rangoon are also some of the best I've ever had. My wife and I have enjoyed everything we've ever had from Happy China, the food has always been hot, and the staff has always been friendly. I highly recommend this place.“

“The food here is flavorful, and they keep the buffet fresh. They are very careful about keeping things at the appropriate temperature, whether hot or iced down - I was pleasantly surprised by this my first few visits. There are so many choices, including sushi (pretty basic, but the wasabi is amazing) and Mongolian grill! The cashew chicken may not satisfy your "Springfield-style cashew chicken" yen, but there are a wide variety of other dishes. Some of their options are standard Chinese buffet fare, but there are several original combinations you're bound to love.Service was attentive and polite.“

“The food is great the cost is reasonable. The food is cooked and ready in excellent timing. My family gives New China a five star + and wishes that new China was also located in our town of Lebanon Missouri.“

“Really a sweet little surprise. We stopped in for a quick lunch on our way to KC. Peking House is conveniently located just off of US 65 and Sunshine. The restaurant and bathrooms are impeccably clean and nicely decorated. The staff were very friendly and happy to answer any questions you may have about the area. We had the Springfield style cashew chicken and general chicken lunch combos. I will be back.Parking: Easy level parking lot.Wheelchair accessibility: Fully ADA compliant.“

“I can't seem to locate the Sunshine Streetlocation on Yelp, so I'm leaving my review for that location of Hong Kong Inn on the Glenstone Hong Kong Inn location's yelp page. My partner and I drove from Arkansas to Springfield in search of good Chinese food and were so pleased with Hong Kong Inn on Sunshine Street! We ordered the sweet and sour chicken, beef lo mein, and crab rangoons. The crab rangoons were some of the best we've ever had- they were stuffed to the brim with the cream cheese filling, and the sweet and sour sauce that accompanied had nice little bits of pineapple in it. The beef lo mein had a great flavor, the beef was tender, and the broccoli was cooked perfectly (still somewhat crunchy). The sweet and sour chicken was so tasty, and the chicken was cooked perfectly. We also had the option to choose either white or dark meat for the sweet and sour chicken. The food was served promptly and was piping hot coming out. We will definitely be back next time we visit.“

“First, the prices here are kinder to your check book than many other Chinese restaurants in town. I had classic Springfield style Cashew Chicken and I just love that delicious, delicate crunch of the lightly breaded Chicken pieces fresh from the kitchen. Service was fast and staff friendly. For casual sit down dining it was enjoyable, tasty and didn't require a bank loan to afford it. We will be back.“
