I had never been to a Firehouse Subs before, so decided to try it Saturday evening, at about 8 PM. Disappointed that when I came it the staff seemed too busy getting ready to close in an hour. When someone decided to come up to the counter to help me, she stopped with the sweeping and proceeded to take my order. No hand washing. (I notice these things, having spent more than five years during high school and college working fast food.) After the order was placed, still no hand washing, I just canceled and left. I should not have to have been the one to suggest hand washing. With all the cleaning and lack of customer awareness, just set off a flag in my head was better to find another alternative....
