Just decided to try this place, one of us on a diet and one of us loves fajitas. So far, the salsa That's a hit. Just spicy enough and not so spicy to require a beverage right away. Not heavy on onion(yay) and the jalapeño in the recipe is perfection. My husband ordered the chicken fajita. Looked like fun! It was a hit! So was the angus beef, taco salad! Both dogs she's were very generous on the amount of meat. We will return. Service was friendly. Communication regarding food allergies was difficult. The food was delivered by a different person than the one who took the order. The beans are very good, as is the guacamole! I will be craving the salsa.

I HATE giving a mediocre review but as a girl who grew up with authentic Mexican cuisine, I would say that this is just an OK place. I have tried it before and wasn't wowed but decided to try again based on reviews. First, enchiladas are not made with flour tortillas. Never ever! Corn tortillas or nothing at all. I think restaurants consider them less work because you don't have to soften them up as you do a corn tortilla. The flavor from the corn tortilla is essential in an enchilada. The taco salad was just okay. The queso was way too thin. The margarita was delicious and the bartender was super nice. I did not like it and for that I am sorry.

I stopped in here for lunch. I had not heard of the place before but it was listed on an interstate blue exit guide sign and I didn't want fast food. It is a little tricky to find as all I saw was a small street sign with an arrow as I was passing the strip mall it is in. It was no problem as I turned right at the light, circled the block and accessed through the bank parking lot. The parking lot was crowded but there was plenty of seating inside. This seemed like a spot where people liked to meet up for lunch. I noticed the bar when entering but didn't try the drinks. The decor was the typical vibrant style. Plenty of seats with some being booths and others just chairs. We started with chips and salsa. The salsa was pretty good with a slight heat but not burn your mouth heat. The menu had many options and some were not your ordinary which I liked. I had never heard of birria ramen but it actually sounded good. This day my focus was on the tacos. For $13 you get two tacos and two sides. The tacos were specialty ones, too. I went with Baja fish and (I can't remember the name). My daughter had the pork belly and (I'll call it Hawaiian) tacos. All were really tasty with maybe the pork belly the best and Hawaiian the least favorite. For sides we both got the elote (street corn in a bowl) and sweet plantains. Both were very good as well. In all this was a great find. The food was above our expectation and the service was good. I have not tried many but so far this would have to be my go-to Mexican restaurant in West County.

Decent margarita but thought the service was a little slow and the food was just ok. Other better Mexican options locally.

We've eaten here now four times in the past few months and it's quickly become my favorite Mexican restaurant in town. First off, I love the salsa. I also really enjoy the atmosphere inside. I know it's not easy to set yourself apart inside of a strip mall, but they've done a really good job. It's also nice seeing children of the owners helping out. Everything feels very friendly. A week ago I was telling friends about how much I liked it and they all said OK great let's go there next week and I thought oh no, pressure! But we ate there last night and all of them were saying how delicious the food was. One of our friends said she doesn't even normally like Mexican food and she really loved it. She had the Birria tacos. my friends were also raving about the rice, the beans, and of course the signature cocktails. Personally, I love their enchiladas and their birria tacos as well. I'm sure I will go there many more times this year.

Strip Mall Location. Upscale Mexican Food. This place is incredible. The food was delicious, the service was fantastic, and the atmosphere was solid. We had guacamole, lots of different tacos (brisket, Al, Pastore, gringo, supreme, pork belly, etc) and cheese quesadilla. The guacamole was excellent… Nice ratio of lime, avocados, tomatoes, onion. Chips were really tasty and fresh. The salsa was really tasty that might have had kind of a barbecue flavor to it. Not standard tomato flavor. All the tacos were delicious. The meat was really flavorful, and it was combined with different spices or salsas or sauces. This place really impressed us with the quality of the food as well as the affordability of prices. It’s one to make a regular stop. And our server, plus the front staff were welcoming, friendly, attentive, and did so many things to make it a warm and inviting place to be.

We started with the salsa, queso, and elote. The salsa was just okay but the queso and elote were very good. I’d give the salsa a 6/10, queso 8/10, elote 9/10. My friend ordered the birria tacos, I got the chicken and gringo tacos, and we got carnitas to go. The birria was really oily and cheesy, we gave it a 6/10. The tacos were better, I’d say a 7/10. I liked the side rice but the refried beans were pretty bad. My friend loved the carnitas and gave them a 8.5/10.

The food was delicious and huge servings. The service was very good. I'm from Illinois. Our Mexican restaurants are less expensive, so there was a bit of sticker shock. But everything else was great!

We went for the daily happy hour 3-6pm. Had great service and the food was tasty as well. Our group shared several Starters (queso, empanadas, fries, and wings) and had their margaritas which were great! I recommend the house marg on the rocks. We will be back.

The ambiance is warm and welcoming. We where greeted upon entry, the food was good, but our service was lacking some attentiveness. I think they where short staffed. Would come again
