Fitz is a local burger root beer & ice cream store with two locations. It's very popular for their outrageously large floats.My lunch visit was at their Delmar Loop location off the WashU Campus. I was seated quickly once I entered. My friendly waitress had menus and got a drink order. The dining room was full on my weekday encounter. OH MY GOD THE STUDS TASTES BETTER ON DRAFT. If you love Fitz soda then you HAVE to come here. The BBQ pulled pork was delicious and the floats are the real attraction. Would give food a 3.5 if I could but typing on a phone so yeah. It's not that the food is bad. It's just doesn't quite live up to the price point in my opinion

I am from out of town and googled best fried pickles in St. Louis and this place came up. What a disappointment. They were undercooked and dripping in grease. I had the gumbo next and it was great. Perfect amount of spice and great flavor. I then ended it up with a Mt Everest root beer float and it was off the chain. Unbelievable delicious.
