“Place is always popping on a weekend morning but they offer a waiting list online to put your name in to help shorten your overall time. Food is always amazing and we love the coffee refills! Everything is decently priced and even when it's crowded you get your food pretty quickly. First watch never disappoints “

“It is slightly difficult to locate on this plaza, so note #265 or look at the map. Large inside sitting area and it looks like it offers outside seating. Opens early. No kids specific menu but many options fit children and price/value is there.Food felt like home cook and cozy atmosphere makes it feel like home. Many omelets to choose from - I tried Key West. My daughter loved strawberry shortcake toast.Service could a bit swifter and attentive but it was early so they didn’t have a lot of support.Kids definitely said they want to come back.“

“There is nothing I love more than a restaurant with a beautiful bathroom. I also love a bathroom with a good subway tile. This restroom though a little dirty still is a big win for me. Look at the beauty of this floor. If you’re in the first stall, it is a little bit claustrophobic. Even with that, it’s a triumphant experience. The urinal is a little low to the ground, but that is probably for those who are challenged with their vertical height. “Staff does a great job keeping up. Definitely recommend checking whatever signature drink they are offering at the time. I tend to be a one trick pony when it comes to my coffee order but I am never disappointed when I go out of my comfort zone and try their suggestions. Seating upstairs is a hidden treasure. My mom came from out of state and wanted to come because of how accommodating and patient the staff was.“

“I cannot express to you how much I love this place. The shop is locally owned and operated by a family. They are the friendliest people. Their Ethiopian macchiato is my favorite drink. It is rich and authentic. I have tried their mango smoothies and just had a frozen coffee drink today. The quality of their espresso is best in class. Highly recommend trying if you appreciate "real" coffee. They offer punch cards if you want to be a frequent customer and receive a free beverage after so many visits. The shop is clean. Good ambiance if you have work or studying to do with free WiFi. Only positive to say about this venue.“

“I consider myself a donut connoisseur, and I've had donuts at several of the popular spots around town. The Sweet Spot's donuts are among the best in town. I'm a big apple fritter enthusiast, and I really enjoyed the style here. Tons of apple bits and great cinnamon flavor. The strawberry cheesecake donut was superb, as were the old fasioneds and the glazed chocolate cake donut. 10/10 I'll be back the next time I'm in north county.“

“I took my 2.5 year old here because she loves cats-we had a great time! A lot of the cats are rescues and need space-I wouldn’t recommend this for grabby kids. The staff is all extremely friendly, we got to give the cats treats, and they are all adoptable! Your ticket price also includes a free cafe drink which is really cool.“

“Love this place! Celebrated a birthday with a cute breakfast turned brunch. The drinks were delicious. The ambience to die for. It is completely IG/TicTok worthy. And the staff was so incredibly nice. Our waiter was outstanding. Probably some of the best genuine service I’ve ever received. I wish I could remember his name to give him his credit. “I read the reviews and I totally agree - best bubble tea I've had in STL. You can customize sugar WITHOUT getting a weak drink. They have tons of fresh additions - like fresh taro in your drink. My ube milk tea had actual fresh ube in it, so delicious, and I'm happy I can enjoy bubble tea without essentially drinking cups of sugar. The chili BBQ curly fries and potstickers are delicious.“

“The kitties were adorable, the staff lovely, the price great. I was only disappointed that there were cats I couldn't get to because they were caged or high up. But I totally understand kitties need their space. Also, we weren't allowed to pick them up, which was disappointing.“

I'd definitely recommend joining the waitlist at least 30 minutes prior as it was VERY busy; we did so luckily we only waited maybe five minutes before our table was ready. There was also plenty of parking out front of the street and additional parking on those side streets throughout Clayton. From design to colors to theme, they provided guidance the whole time. And the price was amazing for the quality of product we got. “Our waitress was friendly but a bit overworked. The Italian Wedding soup was horrible. No flavor, no Italian sausage and full of barley. The roast beef sandwich was good but had wilted greens on it and we didn’t like that. The ham and cheese sandwich was good. The atmosphere was a bit noisy.“

“My parents live in Kirkwood, so we've been coming here for breakfast for years. The service is always awesome and the food is consistently good. “I was surprised to find nuts on my southwest chicken salad. I don't care for nuts, the ingredients weren't listed anywhere that I could see, and I've never encountered them on a southwest salad. I didn't want to waste the salad and im not allergic, so I picked them off. The rest of the salad was delicious. After I ate it, I realized there were more than just the three salad choices I saw in the first box. Just a little confusing but otherwise great place.“

“Been here several times over the years. Our recent experience in spring 2024 was very different from the first time. The service has changed from full service waitstaff to a more casual order at the counter and take number style. The ambiance hasn't changed much. It's very cozy but did get a little loud during peak times. The food has also changed. They've scaled back the menu options. The breakfast sandwiches we ordered were delicious, but not at the same near gourmet level that they were two years ago. Overall our thought is that it's a nice local eatery. Because of all the menu changes we aren't in a hurry to return, but if you're going for the first time and don't have previous experience here you'll find the food well crafted and prepared and great coffee/ beverage options.“
