“Coffee is delicious! The barista was very knowledgeable and friendly. Will definitely be back! The Ethiopian macchiato is strong but subtle with a perfect balance of sweet and bitter. The barista made a cute heart with the milk but I took the pic after I took a sip…lol“

“Staff does a great job keeping up. Definitely recommend checking whatever signature drink they are offering at the time. I tend to be a one trick pony when it comes to my coffee order but I am never disappointed when I go out of my comfort zone and try their suggestions. Seating upstairs is a hidden treasure. My mom came from out of state and wanted to come because of how accommodating and patient the staff was.“

“Higher Groundz is my favorite and now the only coffee shop I frequent. They have the best tasting coffee, tea, and a variety of other drinks that you’d expect to find from a full-service coffee bar along with the freshest baked items which are made from scratch on site and decorated to perfection. The atmosphere and decor make this the perfect gathering spot for any type of get-together with friends, family, or coworkers. We had our wedding reception here and we loved every minute. One visit and you will certainly become a regular too. They have a rewards program which also is nice touch.Dietary restrictions: They will make your drink to order so if you have dairy restrictions there are other options.Parking: Plenty of parking available won’t leave you wandering for a spot.Kid-friendliness: Kids love the friendliness of the staff and the books and games available.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp makes it easy to get in and out without any hassle.“

“The ambiance was everything it was so cute. Perfect place for selfies while sipping your fav drink! The employees were friendly. Since it was my first time and I was uncertain on what I wanted to order, she kindly offered samples. I got one fruit tea and one milk tea. We selected the strawberry peach oolong tea with strawberry and brown sugar boba , and the Okinawa milk tea with brown sugar boba. I'm not the biggest fan of boba so I will try it without next time, but the drinks were so good. Definitely recommend!“

“We had dinner at Ivy Cafe the evening before WUSTL graduation and had an excellent meal. To start we had the butter board - whoa! The butter was silky sooth, creamy, and ultra fresh. A decadent splurge. Other dishes we sampled included the cacio e pepe, soup, salad, and the DelMar tartine, and a lovely Italian barbera. The bread is outrageously good, the produce is outrageously fresh, and the food is beautifully presented. You almost don't want to spoil it by eating it. The wine list had a nice selection of Italian, California, and French wines, and there was a selection of custom cocktails, including spirit free. The menu is refreshingly vegetable focused with compatible proteins. The space evokes garden themes; we found it to be a charming, intimate space. Staff were all professional and pleasant. We would go back in a heartbeat!“

“I read the reviews and I totally agree - best bubble tea I've had in STL. You can customize sugar WITHOUT getting a weak drink. They have tons of fresh additions - like fresh taro in your drink. My ube milk tea had actual fresh ube in it, so delicious, and I'm happy I can enjoy bubble tea without essentially drinking cups of sugar. The chili BBQ curly fries and potstickers are delicious.“

“We just went here on Mothers Day. I was very surprised. This is a hidden gem. It was busy and there was a line. That being said. the staff is very efficient. we waited maybe 15 minutes in line and another 15 for food. It was amazing food and everyone was super nice. I could only imagine the atmosphere on a normal day its probably even better.“

“Very fast, very friendly. I ordered at the kiosk and it was very easy. The descriptions of their special drinks are a bit confusing to order, but I asked the lady behind the counter and she was able to help me. I got a taro bubba tea and a strawberry cheese tea both were yummy and the bubba had a nice texture“

“I've been a loyal customer of The Annex since it first opened in our neighborhood a few years ago. Every other Saturday, I come here for their breakfast burrito that comes with an incredible avocado crema. I did notice that the portion sizes have decreased while the prices have risen. The service is friendly, with welcoming cashiers and baristas at the front counter where you order food and drinks. I've tried their quiche and lunch sandwiches, which were just okay. The Seasonal Ube Latte was amazing, but unfortunately, it's no longer available. Their other coffee offerings are decent. On the pastry front, the blueberry lemon muffin and almond croissant are my go-tos. They often sell out if you arrive late in the morning! It's a cute spot to grab last-minute gifts. They've even started carrying my favorite hummus, which was previously only available at the local Farmers Market. Just note that some items are temporary or seasonal. They have expanded to include an ice cream side and we look forward to trying it some time.“

“Every time I visit Mariposa, it's a five star review - except for this time. I don't know if they were short-staffed, but all the staff seemed extremely stressed out. We had to wait forever for our drinks and finally I had to ask for them and they were brought either by a hostess or manager, who said it “wasn't her usual job” - but we appreciated it. We had my favorite waiter but he was very rushed. When it came to food, I ordered a salad with salmon and it was the smallest piece of salmon I've ever seen - for $30. My friends didn't seem to be “oohing” and “ahhing” over theirs either. Not up to the usual. I'm a regular and I'm just going to assume this was an off day but I wasn't feeling the love. I'll try and pick a slower day to go back. I wondered if something bad had happened that day to make everyone so grim. I hope not. I feel so privileged to have Mariposa as a place to dine. The menu is always able to accommodate me and the servers are always just lovely and friendly. The atmosphere is very relaxing.“

“The service was great! Our food came out so fast, it was hot and fresh, coffee was good and my cup never was empty. Highly recommended.Parking: Parking is tricky... there's parking in front of the restaurant, but it's difficult to get in a spot without getting hit. Leaving was also a little scary because it's right off of Gravois, which is always busy and I scuffed the underside of my car leaving.“

“Been here several times over the years. Our recent experience in spring 2024 was very different from the first time. The service has changed from full service waitstaff to a more casual order at the counter and take number style. The ambiance hasn't changed much. It's very cozy but did get a little loud during peak times. The food has also changed. They've scaled back the menu options. The breakfast sandwiches we ordered were delicious, but not at the same near gourmet level that they were two years ago. Overall our thought is that it's a nice local eatery. Because of all the menu changes we aren't in a hurry to return, but if you're going for the first time and don't have previous experience here you'll find the food well crafted and prepared and great coffee/ beverage options.“

“Love the atmosphere and the outdoor seating. The staff was very kind during my most recent visit. The prices were out of this world though. I got a small matcha and was charged $11.60. Thankfully though, the staff reached out and made everything right. It seems I was accidentally over charged. I will definitely give this cafe another shot. Amazing customer service!“
“Love, Love Cornucopia! Why, you ask? Such a diverse store! They have all kinds of little kitchen gadgets that I never knew I needed until I went into the store to buy coffee...AND... The coffee is much to (not die) but to drink for!!! They have a coffee club that you can join. Great place to spend your time... Oh, and the candles, they are much to (again, not to die) but to smell for! You have to Go and check it out...so fun!“

“We were looking for something healthy for lunch and Revel was perfect. I had the Miso Sesame wrap. The dressing was delicious. The chicken was white meat and fresh as well as all of the toppings. I will say they go a little heavy on the greens so I would request less. They serve the wrap whole and I couldn't cut it in half because there was so much lettuce. My daughter had the protein balls and a smoothie. The smoothie was great consistency. The protein balls are date based not nut butter based. I thought they were delicious.“

“We wound up here when The Clover and the Bee was packed, with a thirty-minute wait, on Presidents' Day. I didn't know anybody got that day off anymore, lol.Anyway, it was a lovely place for a first date, probably better suited to our bohemian natures than the other place would have been anyway. My companion ordered a hand pie/empanada, I ordered a spinach/goat cheese croissant, and we each got a chai latte. The croissant was so-so--they use whole pieces of baby spinach with the stem, and it seems to have gone through a toaster oven or something which singes the edges of the leaves. It tasted nice but I wish it had been a little daintier, first date and all. ? I greatly enjoyed the chai latte, but my companion is very picky about chai and just thought theirs was okay.I enjoyed the decor and found it easy to hear, even though the place was nearly full. The bathroom was clean and well-stocked.Vegetarian options: Plenty of veggie options.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free tamales. Sugar-free syrups for lattes--a real rarity!“

“I was super excited to finally try Berry Box! They are conveniently located inside of my gym (also in the Foundry). I stopped by for a coffee after my workout and I'm glad I jumped in line before the post-class rush. I ordered the Berry Box late which had blue spirulina and blueberry syrup. I ordered oat milk and was surprised it was an $1 upgrade I haven't seen that in awhile. The girl who rang me up also left my cup on the counter a long time too while helping and serving other customers behind me. When she got to making mine it was worth the wait! For a healthy coffee with add ins it didn't taste chalky which I definitely appreciate. And I love the mantras on the cups. They are still really new and working out some kinks so I'm sure I'll be updating this review really soon.“

“Good coffee and relaxing atmosphere...reminds me of the coffee I had in Rome, Italy. If you have food restrictions, this is your place. I never eat out because cross contamination is always an issue. This is one place I will actually eat and get coffee. The owner actually took me behind the counter to insure me there would be no cross contamination. He also showed me in the kitchen the dedicated allergen cutting boards. They have truly gluten free and dairy free options, along with several vegan options.Vegetarian options: Gluten free vegan banana bread, gluten free vegan overnight oats, avocado toast with gluten free option.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free, dairy free, vegan and vegetarian options. I have celiac disease, and feel safe eating here.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a wheel chair ramp into the coffee shop.“

“Holy diesel smoke! For more than 20 years, I've avoided getting hooked on anything from Starbucks.... Every store I've been has always treated me great. I give reviews good and bad, so you'll know.As a trucker, I'll become Hotter than fish grease for the slightest misstep from "professionals."I go many places with my guitar, and no store so far has turned me away - of course, I'm respectful to others and not playing it inside...So, I want to say again, "Thanks to the gentleman that brought me this drink," and getting me addicted. ?? the first sip, I already knew - ?.... are there rehabs for Starbucks addicts?I've included no review of food at this location (haven'ttriedany), I've had some at other locations; the selection and price were my only issues.“
