“First time here. We made reservations in advance and found parking to be convenient. The restaurant's décor was warm and inviting, with white subway tiles behind the bar and blue banquettes around the dining area. The bartender was really knowledgeable and offered excellent recommendations. For starters, we had blue crab gratin and hand-cut steak tar tar, both for $12. The crab was spicy and creamy, and the tar tar was presented alongside warm dollops of slow-cooked egg yolk. They were both gorgeous. Our main dish was gnocchi with lamb ragu and goat cheese, which cost $18. The creamy goat cheese was the ideal compliment to the lamb ragu, and the gnocchi had a nice soft center. The portions were just right, and we left feeling satisfied. Very positive atmosphere, friendly staff, delicious cocktails as well. If you want to seal a good day with a good mood, head here.”

“Comfy, intimate spot for a quality meal. Sat at the bar for a light dinner. Arrived in time for happy hour and ordered a mocktail, plus some small dishes off main menu. They do offer gluten free pasta and pizza, which will try next time! Today, I tried their green bean whipped ricotta dish with bits of bacon (yum!) and an order of arrancinis. Both were delicious, and I look forward especially having the green beans again. The service was outstanding at the bar. Friendly, engaging wait staff. The food, nice cozy interior and staff will keep me coming back. Great small space with our Webster neighborhood vibe and also offers a small outdoor space for dining. Well done yet again!”

“SO CUTE! The iced mint matcha was solid and the inside and outside aesthetic is adorable, clean, with a vintage decor flare. The greenhouse and garden area makes this place more than a coffee shop, but a cute afternoon activity! I’m excited to come back?”

“We came in for happy hour in the bar and had a great mix of both food and cocktails. Highly recommend the $7 purple batch cocktails on the HH menu! They were all really tasty. “Great sushi place! Service was awesome even when they are busy! We got four rolls: nickynicky yum-yum, the Pink panther, Fuji, and the Eskimo. All rolls were delicious but I have to give the edge to Fuji! The drinks were really good as well. Not too strong! Would definitely recommend this place!”

“Do Telva’s Turkish Eggs think about me too?But seriously.. I wake up and go to sleep thinking about the delicious Turkish Eggs and all the other incredible food at Telva. The service is great, don’t be intimidated by the line because it moves quickly. The ambiance is fun and be sure to walk off your extra order of Turkish eggs in the nursery below.Walk ins only but you can order ahead. Parking is street parking.Did I mention to get the Turkish Eggs? ? ”

“My companion and I shared a St Louis style sausage and mushroom pizza. It was very good, however we both suspected that the chef tossed some mozzarella in with the provel. It was very tasty, just a surprise when expecting a true St Louis style pizza. My companion also had the house salad with house dressing and said that it was very good. The service was a little discombobulated because it appeared that they were shorthanded right before lunch but we weren't neglected. All in all a very good lunch!”

“Met a friend here (Webster location) for a weekday lunch and was pleased to find it well-frequented but not so crowded as to make getting a table or enjoying easy conversation without shouting a problem. I ordered the steak vermicelli bowl with Vietnamese vinaigrette and a side of peanut sauce, along with a bottle of water while my companion had the bahn mi and a cold green tea (bottled). My water was pretty clearly a quick-decision afterthought and I would have appreciated if the young woman taking orders would have let m3 know water was available free where the utensils, etc. we're located (out of sight of the entrance and ordering station), I think my friend would have opted for the same. As it was, we added several dollars to our orders as a result. Chalk it up to experience. We both enjoyed our food, but I did find myself wondering if I should have chosen the add Mau vinaigrette instead of the traditional, as the flavor was different (not as good) as I've had at several other Vietnamese restaurants. My friend said her sandwich was good, but admitted she didn't have a big basis for comparison. I'll probably try it again and make few adjustments to see if I just made a wrong choice. Sorry I forgot to take photos, but I take it as a sign that the company was excellent and stopping the conversation for snaps would have been a drag.”

“Truthfully, I expected more from a bakery that imports pastries from France.This post is purely based off personal preference as French pastries are known to be much less sweet than American pastries, and I am definitely addicted to sugary treats.I've been here about 2 or 3 times and it's not bad but it's also not my favorite. Their macarons aren't dry but they don't pack a whole lot of flavor. The coffee was okay, even though they had a ton of flavors to choose from, it seemed like it was lacking something (probably the excessive amount of sugar I'm used to, haha.) Service is always wonderful, the staff is eager to answer questions and they're very knowledgeable, it's also not usually packed so there aren't long wait times.The atmosphere is absolutely phenomenal though -- such a cute place. I'll probably visit again with friends for the ambiance.Parking: Free parking behind the building”

“Not quite ready to end my Monday, I stopped at Perennial for a beer and a small bite. Very busy tonight but there was an open table in the corner (and bonus - a power outlet!) where I sat. I was able to order a beer and the olives appetizer and sit for an hour or so before I was ready to head onwards.It's a comfy space and a little boisterous. A nice vibe for a local beer establishment and they do have a full menu.Parking: Street parking in front. Don't block driveways or fire hydrants!”

“Very nice decor with space between tables. We did take out, however. We had the mushroom pizza, which was delicious but really needed many more mushrooms to be really top-notch. The Caesar salad was really awesome. The dressing was pure perfection, and the lettuce was cold & crunchy. A nice option if you do take-out is curbside service.”

“I recently dined Clover & The Bee and had an amazing experience! The atmosphere was so quiet and relaxed, it was the perfect spot to unwind. But what really stole the show was the food and drinks! Their chocolate martinis were to die for - rich, creamy, and utterly decadent.But what really impressed me was the service. Our waitress was so attentive and knowledgeable. When I mentioned I had gluten intolerance, she went above and beyond to investigate which dishes included gluten and suggested alternatives. She even double-checked with the kitchen to make sure I was safe.On top of the excellent service, the food was delightful! Overall, I'm so impressed with Clover & The Bee. The combination of great food, drinks, and service makes it a must-visit spot. Can't wait to go back!Dietary restrictions: They offer gluten free crackers in lieu of the pita with the hummus.”

“I've been a loyal customer of The Annex since it first opened in our neighborhood a few years ago. Every other Saturday, I come here for their breakfast burrito that comes with an incredible avocado crema. I did notice that the portion sizes have decreased while the prices have risen. The service is friendly, with welcoming cashiers and baristas at the front counter where you order food and drinks. I've tried their quiche and lunch sandwiches, which were just okay. The Seasonal Ube Latte was amazing, but unfortunately, it's no longer available. Their other coffee offerings are decent. On the pastry front, the blueberry lemon muffin and almond croissant are my go-tos. They often sell out if you arrive late in the morning! It's a cute spot to grab last-minute gifts. They've even started carrying my favorite hummus, which was previously only available at the local Farmers Market. Just note that some items are temporary or seasonal. They have expanded to include an ice cream side and we look forward to trying it some time.”

“This was our first visit to this restaurant. No wait for a table at 7PM on a Thursday. Nice atmosphere, casual, quiet enough to hold a conversation. Good table spacing. Very pleasant greeting and seating experience. Service was prompt, pleasant, and very knowledgeable. We ordered a salad - split - as a starter and the sirloin steak and pork and dumplings as entrées. Salad was well presented and unique. Nicely chilled. Wine by the glass was excellent. Entrées came out quickly and well presented. House cut steak was thick and perfectly rare, as requested. Delicious! Diced potato, fresh green beans and house made steak sauce surrounding the steak. Pork dish was a complex assembly of ingredients - pulled pork, small dumplings, fennel, sauce with shaved hard cheese topping. Both dishes were delicious and huge portions. Only knock was both dishes were very salty. I have seen this comment before in reviews of this restaurant. I recommend when ordering to ask for less salt. My wife is an acknowledged salt-a-holic and it was a little too much for her. Without the salt dosage this is a 5 star food rating! We will visit again.”

“I've been here twice - once for dine in and once more recently for takeout. Both were great experiences. This most recent time I wanted steamed dumplings for dinner and also got the veggie spring rolls. Everything was nice and hot. The spring rolls were crisp and not at all oily. The steamed dumplings were soft and tender. Everything tasted amazing, including the sauce/dip that comes with each. Even the soy-based sauce, which is often just soy sauce at most places, was clearly several steps up from that and had great depth of flavor. Definitely recommend.”

“What a gem to stumble upon! I never would've known about Cravings had it not been for an afternoon stroll through Webster Groves and a mad hankering for something sweet. There was a sign saying that it was takeout only and the venue was empty on a Saturday afternoon, but it was filled with a lot of beautiful cakes. I believe I got to witness the legend Tim Brennan himself handle some orders. Service was friendly, although the guy who was helping us out didn't seem to be too familiar with all of their offerings; I don't even blame him, as there are a lot of goodies on their menu with quite the specifications. I found the prices to be very fair. I tried their meyer lemon cream puffs and their mini Baileys heart cake. I actually asked for plain cream puffs, but I'm a fan of desserts with hints of lemon so I won't complain. I didn't love that the box they came in was so frozen inside, but the desserts themselves were tasty. I can only imagine they would've tasted so much better fresh. The Baileys heart absolutely met my expectations; the flavors were perfect and it wasn't too sweet. It was just a higher cream-to-cake ratio, and I would've loved for it to be a more even split because the cake was so light and fluffy. My partner ordered their tray of cinnamon rolls, which were a pretty good deal. His feedback was that he couldn't quite nail the reheating instructions and they came out hard every time, but he genuinely enjoyed them as is without any reheating. So many options, will definitely be back for more in the future!”

“Trip to St Louis last weekend. First stop was Highway 61 Roadhouse. Live music was awesome. I had the DDD Sampler and he had a pork steak. Split a Mississippi mud dessert. All was yummy and we had a great time!”

“Arrived 530 pm party of 6 sat upstairs outside patio. Weather was perfect. Had a bottle of Joel Gott wine couple cocktails here and there. Service was efficient. Two French dips, a grilled cheese, grilled chicken sandwich, large salad mixed greens cranberries honey roasted pecans fried goat cheese and a large cobb salad. Took a chocolate pecan piece of pie home(rich and fabulous).”

“Late in life, I’ve discovered Imo’s Pizza. We get delivery from Imo’s quite a lot. Their chef salads are fantastic, their sandwiches are also very good, the pizzas are a St. Louis tradition, and their spaghetti Bolognese is one of the best kept secrets of St. Louis cuisine. Believe it or not, I’ve had their spaghetti Bolognese multiple times, and every single time it is served perfectly prepared “al dente”. The portion is larger enough. I usually just eat half and save the other half for later. Imo’s has been around a long time. I hope they continue to be a tradition in St. Louis.”

I literally pulled up at 9:55 pm when they close at 10… which I didn’t know until I looked it up since someone was taking out the trash. “Outstanding sushi!!! We were looking for a quick place to eat while visiting from out of town and this was an instant hit. The sushi was extremely fresh and paired well in all the rolls we had. The place was very busy with a large wait at the door, but we sat at the sushi bar and were served right away. It was very upbeat with the sushi chefs hard a work right in front of us. We truly can't wait to go back”

“Wow! Just wow!!! I'd never had Balkan food before a friend recommended the Balkan Treat Box. I'm so glad they did. I had the Balik Ekmek (#6) which is grilled fish in their Somun (a type of flat bread). The fish of the day was Mahi Mahi which was fantastic, but the Somun made in their oven, pictured below, was equally impressive. I'd been torn between ordering the Balik Ekmek and a special spicy chicken Doner (#3) they had that day. I so enjoyed the Ekmek that I had to order the Doner to try it too. It was really good as well with nice heat from the spice. Be prepared to wait in line, but definitely make a trip to the Balkan Treat Box. The atmosphere is bright and lively though crowded. And the several staff members we interacted with were all amazingly helpful and friendly. Especially Devin, who made our visit just a little more special. I'm from out of town but look forward to returning to the Balkan Treat Box when I'm in St. Louis.”
