The need to order at the counter, which had a lengthy 25-minute line, detracted from the relaxed weekend breakfast experience I was looking forward to. During weekdays, the requirement to order via web or phone also detracts from the traditional dining experience where one can disconnect from the devices for an hour and can order directly from a human being.Overall, Mockingbird Cafe is a charming spot worth visiting for its quality food and warm ambiance, though be prepared for a less conventional service method that may not appeal to everyone.“

“A cute shop and absolutely delicious catering! I recently went to her ribbon cutting with the Hancock Chamber of Commerce and sampled the chicken salad (YUM). Michelle (the owner) did a smoker demo. She smoked meat, cheese and chocolate! SO GOOD! I can't wait to attend one of her charcuterie classes.“

“I was passing through town coming back from a funeral and needed a place to work for a bit. I couldn't have picked a better place! Not only was the coffee and food amazing, but the service was top notch! Will definitely be back next time I'm in town!“

“We were looking for something other than the buffet. Decided to try this Cafe. We shared a very large pizza that was Pepperoni and Sausage. It takes about 30 minutes but I would say well worth the wait. It's more than enough for two or three to share. Fresh and tasty. Would do it again.“

“I really like the catfish here! As a person who hates fishy fish, this place nailed it! The catfish on the poboy was light and not oily. It tasted so good and was not at all fishy. Everyone in our party liked their food and the service was fantastic!“

“Highly recommended if you appreciate good espresso. Best latte I've had in the south-- excellent microfoam with clean latte art, flavorful doubleshot by default in a 10 oz ceramic cup. Very nice interior, nice and small outside area overlooking the beach. Nobody batted an eye about me ordering in full bike kit and I was able to put my bike on the front porch so I could see it from the inside while ordering. Service was friendly-- they brought my drink and pastry out to me on the porch.“

“My grandson had the best birthday ever. We flew in for lunch and everyone from the hospitality on the taramac to entrance through the front doors and beyond gave us all such a warm and welcoming and friendly greeting.The pilots that were flying in and out made my grandson eager to learn more about aviation.Several pilots more than willing gave my grandson thier time to speak with him and encourage his curiosty of aviation.The homade mac and cheese was the bedt !Thanks to his aunt Leilani and uncle Tony Rosebaum for taking him up on his first flight. Great atmosphere all around.Kid-friendliness: My grandson was in awe of the military training pilots that took thier time to speak with him encouraging him in the field of aviation. Several also gave him patches off their uniforms.He said it was the best birthday ever!“
