“Radish is a nice little restaurant situated in warm town of Long Beach, they've added an outside deck which is where we were. Four of us, shared appetizer of roasted radish, whipped goat/ricotta cheese and chimichurri sauce cheese - the radishes were still hard but the flavor was interesting and good. We were the first customers of the day so maybe they didn't have time to roast a little more. I would not order again. Two ordered the half ribeye special $20(vice the usual $40) with rosemary fries that were delish. Both were disappointing as they had a good bit of gristle. I ordered the gnocchi w/shrimp it appeared to have the same cheese & chimichurri sauce and the gnocchi was anything but light. I wouldn't order again. Other companion had the duck/eggplant purloo, she loved the eggplant and rice combination. The focaccia bread and oil were very good. All 4 of us had an Old Fashioned and everyone agreed it was a 9/10. Overall it wasn't what we were anticipating based on the reviews I had seen. The service was absolutely great and we may give the restaurant another try but not anytime soon.”

We enjoyed our meal on the balcony overlooking the water, our waitress came down Sick but very quickly we had a new waitress even with all that our order was not mixed up or wrong or anything, so we thoroughly enjoyed our experience! “Great little spot. Locally owned and managed. Zach, Jessica, and crew have done a great job with the place. No smoke/no smoke smell. Clean, spacious. with a covered outdoor area and they regularly bring in music you would never expect for this little town. I hear the burger is excellent. It's on my list but if you're reading this on a Wednesday, make your way down there today for the wings! Spicy Buttermilk Ranch?!? What? Go!”

“Dan and Aunt Lou Lou are the salt of the earth. Never felt so home in a bar. Jeffro does the best Joe Cocker music covers. The bar dog is Bruno and he stole my heart. You need to stop in here and say hello to the best fine bar around.”

“Great little sushi, ramen, and hibachi place in Long Beach. Their egg drop soup is better than any other that I have had on the coast. The poke bowl was delicious. My wife had a couple of simple rolls and enjoyed them. A friend had the ramen and said it was good. Prices are reasonable and the service was fast and friendly. It's not fancy, but I recommend it.”

“Wait staff was good. Guy at register wasn't very friendly and a little condescending, so that is why the 3 stars for service. But the girls waiting tables and throughout the restaurant were very nice....they would get a 5 star for service. Sweet potato fries are awesome and so was the burger.”

“A very friendly and welcoming place to visit. I haven't tried any food items as of yet; however the ice cream and different treats are wonderful. Reasonably priced with good portions. I usually get the superman ice cream (yea, I'm a kid at heart) but ask for no yellow (only red and blue). They kindly do the best they can to keep yellow out. Great people, highly recommended.”

“It's a little out the way, but it's really good. Serving size was on the larger size so be careful there, but everything was still great. My friend got a snow cone, it had a lot of syrup/juice on it: they usually don't. I got a brownie sundae and it was a large piece of brownie with ice cream and whipped cream. Delicious! I would definitely recommend going; the menu is extensive and covers an array of various sweets and treats.”

“Saturday night.great music and food supper Nice night on mother's Day weekend . There's a indoor outdoor option to eat and have a cold beverage.You won't go away hungry nice portions done well.Every thing we had was real tasty and had to wait to eat it because of how fresh and supper hot.Catfish was the bomb and the Taco's were so tasty . “Quick trip to the beach today. We had been told that if you go to Long Beach, only eat at Lil’Ray’s. We are so glad we did! The food was hot, fresh and absolutely delicious! We had a shrimp po boy, roast beef po boy, gumbo, fries and Cajun fried mushrooms. The only thing missing was a nap on the beach! We will definitely stop back in this summer! Definitely recommend! 10/10”

“Basil’s has become our Friday night place to eat since moving to Diamondhead. I love Thai and Vietnamese food and I can get both at Basil’s. Their Tom Kha coconut with shrimp soup is fabulous. Their Spring rolls, pineapple fried rice and curries are great. Helping are big, food is well seasoned and hot (heat wise). Small but clean, reasonably priced and served in a timely manner. Located off the beaten path, they are a locals hideaway and do a busy takeout business. If you’re there on a Friday night and see a Jeep named Bigfoot, that’ll be us. Stop in and say hello.”

“Located right across from the beach. Decent menu and some deck seating. The chips are seasoned. The pineapple fajitas was a great choice. The main let down was the service (or lack of). We spent a lot of time waiting to order, get our food, and to pay our bill.”
