I want to love this place so bad. I come here for the pineapple fried rice. However, the spice level is so unpredictable and variable every time I go. They really need to find a way to streamline that guests know what to expect. I never know what to order and a lot of the time it ends up too spicy or not spicy enough.

This place was next to our hotel for our staycation and we were so pleasantly surprised by this exceptionally delightful and eclectic thai restaurant in the heart of Missoula. The atmosphere was warm, bright, welcoming. The staff was friendly and casual, very hospitable and helpful. We came right at 4:30 on Saturday which was ideal to get a table, this place can fill up fast. They have several items on the menu that can be made strictly either vegetarian or vegan and are clearly marked on their menu. Their pad thai being one of them. The spice level was perfect, the flavor was impeccable. My husband got a dinner special and loved it. The drinks were fun and vibrant as. The portion sizes were very generous, we had plenty of leftovers for a late night snack! We definitely found our new favorite

First time we went, 1 star. Absurd Covid rules and signs everywhere saying bus your own dishes, don’t do this don’t do that. Signs everywhere. Completely unappetizing. Ridiculous prices for food poor people eat all over the world. Tried again. Packed out the door by Missoulas new elite class. Went to conflux instead (disgusting). Went back one more time just the other night. Beat the crowd. Excellent service, tremendously tasty dishes. Top level service from staff. Didn’t give this 5 stars because it was $82 for 4 beers and two dishes that poor people eat all over the world. And the waitress lingered over my shoulder when I was trying to figure out the tip. No, I don’t want to tip $15 sorry. But definitely great dishes.

I was in town on business and enjoyed a relaxing dinner. Travis was friendly and provided options on the various items on the menu. I enjoyed the steamed dumplings and the ginger stir fry with chicken, which were wonderful!! I had an enjoyable evening here and look forward to my return when I'm back in town. Thanks!!

We came here at the recommendation of a few friends. We ordered the pad see ew and a curry to split. On the curry, they told us the minimum spice level they could do was a spice level 3. This is printed on the menu as well. Both of our dishes came out super spicy. Even my boyfriend who loves spice was getting out-spiced. When the waitress came by again, she asked if the food was too spicy and if we’d like a remake for it. We accepted the remake, and both of our dishes came out with much more tolerable spice levels. However, we think it’s weird that they were able to remake our curry as less than a spice level 3, yet they won’t let you order less than that from the get go. It was an odd experience. The pad see ew was good and we’d probably come back and split that, but the curry left a lot to be desired. It’s a bummer they don’t have any red base curries on their menu. Regardless, we’ll be back sometime to get them another try!

Best place in Missoula for Thai food! Welcoming staff, tasty drinks and overall just a good vibe. Friday nights there’s usually a super cute hostess…and a handsome bartender or two, as well!

Best Thai food I’ve had in a long time! Super busy location downtown Missoula, we came in right at open at 5pm and by 530pm there was already a long wait as every table was full. The food was exceptional. Ordered the edamame and the chicken satay. The peanut sauce for the satay was terrific! The edamame was spicy, but still a solid app. We ordered the laab, som tom salad, the suki yucki special soup, and the beef tip massaman curry. By far our favorite was the massaman with a velvety finish, large chunks of beef filet, well seasoned with potatoes, carrots, and onions. Found a new favorite restaurant when I visit!

Excellent. Takeout order with two noodle dishes, massaman curry, and dumplings. The Dumplings were superb and a must order going forward. The massaman beef curry was on special and the beef was tender and truly added to the dish. The vegetable's in all three dishes were cooked perfectly even though they were large cuts. each dish was uniquely flavored and indivually spiced. A clear difference in temperature between the two star and three star orders.Kudos to Zoo Thai for quality cooking on a busy night! Will eagerly return again.

I travel a lot, I eat Tai more. This place hits all the right places. A little bit more $$ then I am used to paying for Tai, yet still great, & will be back.
