“Whether you’re looking for a crazy way to spend a Saturday night or need something to do on a Tuesday afternoon, there doesn't seem to be a "bad time" to go to the Tacklebox and you never know what you'll find when you get there. Drinks are the cheapest in town - the kind you feel "the bartender made a mistake" cheap. If you're in luck, Karen or Brandon will behind the bar, happy to support all your wrong choices in life - most of them anyway! Staff is excellent, this bar is second-to-none on people-watching and whether you are a local or a visitor, you'll love this small beach bar that we all just seem to keep going back to. “I would never visit Beaufort and not stop by this place. Don’t let the size or location fool you this is a #1 stop for the best musicians around. Always a good time and the local folks make it fun with their welcoming and friendly smiles and handshakes. I played an Open Mic there last year and hope to play there one day. “Definitely my favorite bar in town! The bartenders are always very friendly and serve the most amazing cocktails. I always choose the “Bartender's Choice” from the menu, and I have never been disappointed. Huge selection of spirits! AR is a nice place to relax and have a nice crafted cocktail.“
