“They worked with me to order two cakes for which I drove from Virginia to pickup. The 12 layer Chocolate cake tasted just like my grandmother's; it was moist and tender and that frosting is sublime! I also bought a Coconut-Raspberry 12 layer cake that was the hit at my dinner party! The cake could not have been better, the raspberry wasn't overpowering, but leant a freshness that was unexpected. The coconut frosting was not overly sweet, but tasty. While there, my friend and I each got a sandwich; chicken salad and egg salad, and a scone for lunch which we enjoyed on the ride home. The employees were super helpful and cheerful and all in all, it was a delightful experience and we will be back!”

“These are pretty good tenders I had today. I place them as my go to tenders for now on. I think they are like Popeye's but with more meat.We also have had the Hunt's pizza before and that was really good. Now that I am living close by I am going to stop by more often.”

“Old fashioned BBQ joint. Seating area and bathrooms were clean, food was good and service was quick. I only tried the pulled pork sandwich and it was delicious. The rest of the menu has your typical fare. Several choices of meats and sides. I couldn't find any one thing that makes truly unique but what they're doing is done well, at least from the good amount of patrons that were there.”

“We ate here day before yesterday for a late lunch and it was so good we went back tonight for dinner. The other day he had a Cuban and the fries and I had a grilled sandwich with granny smith apples and cheese and a Brownie Surprise drizzled with raspberry. The place's decor reminds me of a combo of the 70's and a beach/ocean vibe, the era when we grew up. It's a cute place and the waitresses were sweethearts both times.”

“First time here. We were visiting in the area and what a find! Off the beaten track and a hidden gem. Staff and server Shelby fantastically friendly, menu knowledgeable and attentive. The reviews we read about their prime rib 100% accurate. Their appetizers and specials really round out the nice menu to include wide array of surf, turf and pasta dishes. Nice waterway view in a casual setting but top notch service and food. Not sure when we will be back in the area but it will be visited for sure if we are.”

“Great ice cream! Someone said it was pricey, but you don't get just one scoop at the price, you get a conefull. With three kids plus myself it was still under $30 and every one loved it.”

“Took a day trip from Norfolk, VA to Moyok, NC. On a whim stopped at Blue 42’s, what a total stroke of luck! Atmosphere was superb, charming, clean, friendly, just plain delightful. Taste samples of beer were wonderful. “Oyster Stout” is superb for those who appreciate a good stout.High light of the stay was the staff. Sarah and Olivia are Fabulous! Very knowledgable, helpful, out going and friendly. We were fortunate to be there early in the day so it was not too crowded yet. Those two mega rock stars were absolutely delightful. Thank you ladies for making our visit a totally fantastic event. Love yins guys like daughters. Looking forward to seeing you again soon. “Food was good. The portions were a little small. Service was a bit slow because of understaffing. But I like to stop here when I'm down that way for a bike ride.Parking: Plenty of room for a motorcycle.”

“Really neat looking McDonald's they had a sitting area and cool bar tables. Too bad the eggs were gross. Burnt in spots and runny in other spots. No idea how they did that but they were inedible.”
