“I don’t ca Re what these founder’s professor said, this place is fantastic and a brilliant idea for those looking to make a low country boil! We are in town for a family get together and this dish has been a classic staple BUT one of our members always does the leg work, sourcing of all the ingredients, and cooking. We decided to give this place a try and while we thought they cooked the whole thing for us… we were surprised to know they prep it all, source it all and deliver it to us to quickly put the pot on the stove and cook it all in 30 minutes. This crew made it easy! Plus the entire meal was incredibly flavorful. It’s like ‘take and cook’. We got the traditional plus a couple crab pots and out it all together! Fed 12 and not a drop left. “We tried this place upon the recommendation of a friend who had been here a few weeks below. First glance of the menu we were like “meh”… but didn’t look close enough! Y’all these “standards” are top notch… fresh local ingredients from small farms and suppliers. The fish sandwich… big ol’ slab of black drum expertly char-grilled with house made crunchy pickles and delish remoulade. The side salad… again made with local greens and homemade ranch with fresh dill. And the chips and salsa… this is in-house made salsa with sundried tomatoes and in-house roasted peppers… so earthy and tasty… served with fresh made (like hot!) fried tortilla chips. Highly recommend!!“

“The donuts are unbeatable and depending on what you have going on well worth the wait. However, don’t expect to get your donuts in any specific order. People in front and behind you may get their bag before you do. Also, there’s no limit, after waiting for 30 minutes on your 6 donuts someone behind you will walk out with 36 and you’ll feel great.“

“We just had a long day of getting ready for our trip and driving out to the beach, walking around the boardwalk with the kids, etc and the dinner we ordered from hang ten take out was awesome!! The burger was cooked exactly the way I requested, still warm and the serving size was huge! I’m so full! And my husband loved his grilled chicken sandwich! That was an awesome dinner! “This is the best location for a restaurant in central or southern Pleasure Island. We always take people from out of town here, you’re right on the beach…Order from the Tiki Bar and drink and dine above the breakers, or dine inside and stroll out the Tiki Bar, or get your toes wet on the beach. This restaurant and bar is the site of the old Central Pier. The menu is very basic -Calabash Fried Seafood, Crab Cakes, Boiled Shrimp, Hamburgers, etc, hence 4 stars for food.“

“If you're in Wilmington, and you love donuts, you need to stop in. Or maybe you love great coffee? Yes, stop in. Bonus if you love both! So many to try! I had the cinnabomb with a large cappuccino! Pretty great start to the day, ignoring calories. Seriously, this place is great. I imagine you need to stop in early, before they sellout. We got there about 8:30 am - that worked. They did have a steady stream of customers!!!“

Do not pay attention to any bad reviews on here, these are the nicest people, always friendly and ready to help out, and ice cream melts folks (yes I read the reviews and all the people are nuts). We love Squigley's and can't recommend them enough.“

“I visited this establishment on Saturday. The crab dip was excellent. I usually don't eat anything with crabs in it. I ordered a peach/mango margarita. It was really good. The chicken tacos needed more flavor. The chicken was very bland. The service was okay with them only having one waitress. The restaurant is very small. It would have been better if it was bigger and had extra servers.“
