This was my first time getting food from the truck. I always heard about them and also follow them on Facebook. But this experience was AWESOME! The food was FANTASTIC and the service was phenomenal. I will be coming back. My experience was yesterday in Clinton NC.

Update because I seen their live on Facebook: their generator stays breaking down and they didn’t even know that the place they get back up from was closed on Saturdays. Wow, so unprofessional.Original post: The food LOOKS great but it tastes mediocre at best. Please plan to wait 3 hours in line with people constantly skipping you. By the time you get your food, your potato will by soggy and you’ll be lucky if it’s warm. Just do yourself a favor and go to juicy crab. Even on their worst day, the food and customer service is better.

I was looking at your options to have something shipped to me but the fact that you don't do refunds but I could potentially spend hundreds of dollars on your product it's possible out of your control it comes to Me bad ripped torn damaged and don't do refunds in my opinion is very poor business practice I would never take my chances ??

My husband stood in line over 6 hours for this food(I was working and didn't know). I was soooo disappointed. First they ran out of potatoes corn and sausage. I wanted spicy. Not only didn't I get spicy but also the flavor was diluted from all the water. I guess the food is boiled in water. My advice if all the orders can't be as good as the first(assuming it was)then stop before you lose more customers. 10/21/23 Charlotte, NC

Growing up all things Bama (Roll Tide w/The GOAT Apostle Saban) soul food is my food of choice, until The Spot Florida Cajun-Style Seafood owners, The Proctors, came on the scene. I have never in my life licked a crab leg shell before. The only sauce-like item I’ve ever eaten on eggs was the devils-eggs mix with paprika, okay. Why am I swishing these eggs across the bottom of this tray, sopping up sauce and garlic remnants like it’s a piece of white bread? Y’all at first I wanted to ask them what they feed the shrimp they secretly farming. Those babies are fat, juicy, and cooked just right. Yes ma’am, yes sir, I suck the shrimp skin too making sure all the lemon juice, butter sauce and seasoned oil slips down my throat. I don’t care how long the line is, this food is worth the wait, it’s a food truck. Some folks wait over and hour at popular seafood restaurants for unseasoned food, walk right out and swing by a fast food restaurant before getting home. But I digress. I have personally witness them compensate, refund, re-fix food on several occasions; not to mention pray over everybody before they get started. I will continue to support this Retired-Marine, Veteran & Black Owned Business. They got the right formula for success.Kid-friendliness: Their gourmet drinks have the right amount of sugar to make you bounce around like a kid again. Be careful cause your kids will want their own meal, make them clean their room, wash dishes, and fold clothes before they get to order the Lil Poohbah.
