“Asked a local where to have lunch. While she provided several options, we picked Hurricane Mo's. As it turned out, this was an excellent choice. Lunch was superb, the price was good, and the atmosphere perfect. Would highly recommend if you're looking for a locals place with good food and great service.“

“Cici was our waitress, super friendly and fantastic service! Been a obx native and wanted to try something new so we stoped in. The food was truly delicious and priced well, this is a hidden gem. They also gave a military discount which was appreciated. Thanks for making our morning wonderful!“

“I posted my review on X because I honestly loved the food and atmosphere here. Everything is fried, but I think that one day a year, it doesn't hurt and I'm not going to deny myself the experience. As an appetizer I recommend the CAJUN FRIED CHEESE CURDS served with jamaican jerk aioli, it is a dish that I did not know and that my new friends invited me to try. The truth is that they were delicious, to be honest, I would have eaten the entire basket by myself. Another interesting starter is the fried pickles with ranch sauce. My friend can't eat beef, so her favorite is a chicken fillet burger that I was able to try and it is phenomenal. My selection was the FRIED OYSTERSlightly golden fried with spicy remoulade and lemon (fried oysters) more out of curiosity than anything else. They didn't disappoint me, I was already into eating everything fried. But if you don't want that much fat in a single day, there are also raw, baked and grilled oysters on the menu. Another thing I loved is that you can choose not just one, but two sides of hand-cut fries or mashed potatoes (dinner only). Another option is coleslaw (to appease the conscience). I chose the fries and macaroni and cheese to complete the American experience. The service is fast and very friendly. The prices are reasonable. Something I liked is that I ordered my drink half with sugar and half without sugar and that's how they brought it to me. I'm still not used to zero sugar, but that's where I'm at.Observation: I wanted to take my family on a Sunday at 7:45 at night but it was closed. Google says they close at 9 so this really surprised me.“

“When in the Nags Head please stop by Lucky Tavern. The staff works hard and they provide a good atmosphere. The PIzza yes, The Pizza is yummy and their bar serves all the drinks you want. They have desserts and are open way late. I alway try to stop by there when. I visit the Outer Banks.“

“First time here and we were very pleased with all aspects of our visit. Had the stuffed jalapeños, awesome. Wings were off the charts and the wife enjoyed her tacos. Drinks were refreshing and delicious. Service was attentive and very friendly. Sure we will put Bonzer Shack on our list of regular stops while on vacation from this point forward.“

“We ate here on Friday Oct. 20. Bartender was super friendly. Highly recommend the clam chowder, best we've ever had. I had the Grouper special and it great. My wife had the Tuna, was super pleased, cooked perfect and not many places get it right. They did. Chef was great to talk to. She explained a lot as we sat at the bar waiting for our food. Backyard bar was our kind of place. The band had to cancel because of rain but It would have been a great place to see one. Will go back next time we are in Duck. Thanks for a great experience.“

“We were seated quickly and the host was up front saying they were busy and it may be a bit of a wait to order (which it wasn’t!) Food was great & I loved that they offered healthier options! Our waitress was very kind & welcoming. Highly recommend!“
