What a great find! The pastries sweet and savory were excellent.

I wish they had the prices listed next to the items or somewhere else because it can get very expensive, very quickly. I spent $64 in bake goods and tamales that would cost $30-35 in Costa Rica, I know this is not Costa Rica but really, almost double the price!?

Those little spinach and feta pastries get me every single time. And you can never eat just one so do yourself a favor and get two. Haven't had a bad pastry here, always a nice little treat!

Can a surcharge be imposed on debit or prepaid cards? No. The surcharge may only be imposed upon credit cards, and not debit or prepaid cards. The amount of the surcharge may not exceed the amount of the swipe fee paid by the merchant on the particular credit cardI've contacted Josh Stein our attorney general of North Carolina the governor of North Carolina Roy Cooper and the lieutenant governor. This has been well over two months no replies. Businesses and Gaston Lincoln county are charging 4% post tax on debit cards it is illegal. You can refuse to pay just tell the business owner. Two Rules That Prohibit Debit Card SurchargesThat can result in fines, and if the breach of contract continues or is serious enough the merchant risks losing the ability to accept those credit cards. The other restriction is because surcharging on debit card purchases is illegal under federal law.

They have some really good pastries, but it helps to speak Spanish.
My first trip to Tico Pan Bakery was a success! I was looking for authentic Cuban bread and they bake it fresh twice daily. I bought a loaf, took it home and made a Cubano Sandwich. It was delicious, and if you know Cuban Sandwiches... the Bread is the most important part. If you like to make specialty sandwiches, get the bread at Tico Pan Bakery. (I cooked the Cubano in a George Foreman "press")

Person that answered phone was very difficult and rude I asked for the price on tamales he said and I quote “ I think $6.00” , I said to him that the price they advertised was $5.00. He became pretty rude. Some customer service classes won’t be bad to take.

We found this bakery while visiting in the area thanks to Google reviews. It has a Latin American flavor to it offering various pastries and items like empanadas. Service was courteous and prompt. I opted for the empanada which had egg, potatoes with just a mild kick to it. It was warm and the crust was flaky and very tasty. It was not dry at all, striking the perfect balance for a pastry. It was not heavy or greasy like empanadas I have ordered from other establishments. My friend ordered an apple pastry which was also good and large. Wish I took a picture of them. I would definitely visit this bakery again and highly recommend.

Just moved from South Florida, it was great to find a extremely good Latin bakery close by. Sampled 4 items, all very good. Will be going back soon

I've always been a fan of my local Latino bakeries as they make some of the best breads and pastries around here but this place makes delicious savor and sweet pastries with fillings ranging from spicy potatoes or spinach and cheese to sweet fruit and pumpkins. These are some of the best tasting pastries I've ever had for sure, completely delicious!
