“My wife and I go to doctors in Moyock and quite often we stop in at Hardee's. They have the nicest people working there. Yesterday Mr. Thomas waited on us and even brought our order to the table we were sitting at. This is not the first time and employee has done this for us. We are both in our middle to late 70s and their service to their customers is out standing.”

“Shawna from the pro-shop is always delightful and welcoming. Best around for after golf food and beverages. The dinner specials are always fantastic. The atmosphere is always family friendly and a happy mix of golfers and locals.”

“Restaurant: Family friendly, great menu selections, excellent salad bar. Courteous staff. Our server Angel was super! Was set down immediately upon arrival by host Chris. All staff was on top of our needs and added to the "Down home," ambience that makes this a fun choice for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Our lunch choices were , (Mama's), Liver with potatoes and gravy, and (mine), fresh broiled Halibut with Hushpuppies and Salad Bar.”

“Great first-time experience here! My SIL and I were visiting from out of town and called in a takeout order for a large supreme pizza and garlic knots. Everything was DELICIOUS. The pizza had a generous amount of toppings and was perfectly seasoned (I've had some very salty supreme pizza at other places). The garlic knots were great, too - soft, buttery, cheesy yumminess. On top of the quality food, the service was stellar. Everyone was polite and friendly, which is such a breath of fresh air these days. Would love to try other things on their menu the next time we're in town.”

“Took a day trip from Norfolk, VA to Moyok, NC. On a whim stopped at Blue 42’s, what a total stroke of luck! Atmosphere was superb, charming, clean, friendly, just plain delightful. Taste samples of beer were wonderful. “Oyster Stout” is superb for those who appreciate a good stout.High light of the stay was the staff. Sarah and Olivia are Fabulous! Very knowledgable, helpful, out going and friendly. We were fortunate to be there early in the day so it was not too crowded yet. Those two mega rock stars were absolutely delightful. Thank you ladies for making our visit a totally fantastic event. Love yins guys like daughters. Looking forward to seeing you again soon. “We just got corn dogs and corn dog kids meals but they were good. The kids always like the juice and applesauce that are part of the kids meals. Usually we get the mini Blasts they like them a lot. I like being able to get a true kid sized portion because they don’t make nearly as much mess.”

“This was by far THE BEST Chinese meal we have had since moving to NC 30 years ago. We decided to try takeout. The online ordering was extremely simple to understand and I appreciated the ability to make custom additions and selections. I had General Tso’s Chicken and my husband had Chicken and Vegetables. The portions were huge, very well prepared, and so full of flavor. The spring rolls were actually crispy! We will most definitely be returning often! I should also add that the staff members were incredibly welcoming and friendly. Way to go, Mr Lu!”

“Upon entering, the hostess was not very friendly, she definitely didn’t look like she wanted to be there. We were seated quickly, and waitress took our order in a timely manner. We were a little concerned about the food since it did take a while for it to come out, but surprisingly it was steaming hot and very good. I got a Gator Burger w/sweet potato fries and my husband had a Crispy Chicken Sandwich. The chicken sandwich was a split breast that was breaded and fried, not a chicken patty. Overall it was a good meal and if we were in the area again we would consider going back.”

Perhaps Wendy’s corporate should send other store managers to this location to see what one SHOULD look and operate like!”

“The location is great when heading to Virginia. Saturday afternoon I was greeted by two friend people behind the counter that promptly made my coffee. The coffee was hot and made how I asked. No complaints, not a regular customer so only this one experience.”

“This was our first time tasting Miss Kim Mobile Kitchen. The food was flavorful and I was very excited to try it. We had the Sesame Chicken, the Thai Sweet Chilli Chicken, and the Mozzarella corn dogs. Also, the veggie spring rolls are delicious. Talk about being in a happy place! I do recommend them and I will try them again.”

“I'm not sure what happened to the girl who works the front desk but two out of two times I have dealt with her, she has the poorest attitude. She has me questioning myself - like, did I cut her off in traffic one day or what? She is rude for no reason. Otherwise the place is fine, food is quick and as expected. Except I did pay two extra dollars for the Garden salad with chicken just for the mushrooms that aren't in the Chicken Salad, and didn't get any mushrooms. But I'd rather stab myself in the eye with a fork than go back and try and speak to miss sassy up front right now.”
