“My man and I went here last weekend for the first time. From the time we entered until we left, we had a phenomenal experience. Our waitress Meredith was attentive, poised and very friendly. The other staff were friendly as well.We ordered calamari for appetizers and salmon+seafood pasta for our main courses. We also had refreshing mocktails. “My first time dining for my husband 50th birthday. Our waitress Destinee was amazing. She provided us with a detailed history of the house where the restaurant is operating out of built in 1879. Destinee made wonderful food recommendations and made our celebration a memorable one. The food was delicious from first course lump crab salad to quail. Our main course dishes were beautiful plated with French influences. Also I have to add their chef is one of the best in the area. We can't wait until our next special celebration. Thanks again!”

“The veggie ramen at Miso Ramen Bar is incredible. Although there aren’t a lot of vegan options on the menu, I can appreciate that they’re clearly labeled and also very flavorful! Service was super quick when I came in on a weekend at lunch, even when they were busy. The portion sizes are extremely generous in my opinion - I have never been able to finish a full bowl of their ramen on my own.”

“Fabulous service at the bartop. Roy's recommendations were impeccable and considerate of dietary restrictions. The food was outstanding and wine pairings complemented well. Highly recommend sourcing from the starters and sides to get the most variety, unless you wish to commit to the steak or full entree. Oysters and acorn squash were a great combo. I appreciated the ability to do a GF dessert (elevated ice cream sundae!) to top off the night. Thank you!!”

“Our meal was phenomenal. One of the best meals of my life. We ordered the spinach dip, mushroom vandouvan, spanakopita, brussels sprouts, and chocolate mousse cake. Every bite was amazing. The mushroom dish was especially decadent and I was delighted to see that it was vegan. We are trying to eat more plant-based meals, so we booked our anniversary dinner here and I am beyond glad that we did. We will certainly be back. 10/10 highly recommend.”

“Right when you walk inside this place makes an impression! It looks like Arizona dering Día de los Muertos, it feels like a dead man's party. The regular salsa is refreshing and I can never stop dipping in it. The food is so good, like the arroz con pollo, which is just like half a seasoned chicken instead of dry white meat. The enchiladas de puebla are also great. My favorite by far is the carnitas, you can't find anything like it on this side of the country. The pork is braised in beer and is just magical. And yes there is a train, and yes everyone loves it. The wait can be very very long on the weekends, but the staff are always very friendly so I never mind too much. It's not too expensive so I think it's honestly the best restaurant in Raleigh for families! They also help promote small business sometimes, like they used to sell really good chocolate for this Columbine guy. Anyway, this place is good and you must go or ELSE! Last thing, I think the restaurant has changed hands because it has gotten way better in the last couple years.Parking: The parking is actually pretty iffy. It gets packed to the point of no spots, but you can just go park in the shopping center.Kid-friendliness: There is a bar but it's mostly split from the tables. Side note, the tortillas are really good ?”

“So excited to finally try!!! Decor was so Miami and we loved it! GM was star player in establishment. Carpaccio was one of the best I ever had. We did dover sole as Mid course it was good but way too many bones def just need better execution. Steak was excellent but we never received any of our sides which was ok we over ordered. Desserts were great cheesecake we even got second to go it was so yummy. Paid for but never got our dessert wine cause we felt bad saying something twice. Espresso martini was ok. Wine list great, whatever the lilac cocktail I had was in beginning was so good I got two. Server was a doll which made up for all the things that never happened. Watching open kitchens usually makes me crazy but in this case it was very impressive. Few things to work on, but overall for NC good job!!!”

“Stopped at this restaurant and it did not disappoint. If you're a vegetarian your options are really only salads or the butternut squash ravioli, but don't let this deter you from coming. The butternut squash ravioli was the best ravioli I've ever had. It was rich and creamy with the perfect mix of mushroom and sweetness from the squash. The marinated avocado salad was delicious as well. I don't usually like blue cheese but it was very mild in this dish. The people I was with ordered the pot pie which they said was great. The service was also great and everyone was extremely friendly. Would 100% recommend.”

“My husband and I shared a dim sum appetizer, entree and vegetable dish. Portions are generous. The cabbage roll appetizer & Chinese broccoli were both excellent. The General Pao chicken was average. The craft beer selection was extensive and we tasted several before ordering. Our server was very attentive and consulted the chef for several questions. The downside of the service was a few too many visits to our table when we were clearly not in a hurry to order. We prefer a more leisurely pace!”

“This is my second time getting Pita Bowl for lunch and it is quickly becoming my new favorite lunch spot! I always order ahead of time and it is always ready within 5-10 minutes of my requested order time. The inside is decent sized with tables and hightop seating. There is outside seating as well. Everything comes out warm because it is made fresh and that translates into the amazing flavor! We have gotten pita bowls both times, one with chicken shawarma and one with shaved lamb. Both meat options were phenomenal, flavorful, and warm at pickup. All the toppings are delicious, many to choose from, and you can get as many as you want with no extra charge! The cilantro potatoes come out crispy and hot, so those are always a great topping. Dipping the warm pita bread in the garlic sauce and tzatziki is another favorite of mine here. Highly recommend and will be back for more lunches!”

“I have been going to this Dennys for over 10 years. They Never Miss! Lol this last time we got their new Berry Waffle, and my mom got the cinnamon roll pancakes(my fave). Amazing service even on a busy Saturday and they helped me with my stroller.Parking: It's not a huge parking lot but normally folks are rotating pretty quickly in and out of the spaces.”

If you're looking for the perfect shot of the capital, this is the spot! I’m talking about both ground and aerial views. It offers a perfect urban backdrop with plenty of walking space on this bridge. Make a note of this location if you want to capture that amazing shot of the city!”

“Sarge's sauce made my shrimp and grits easier and more flavorful than my usual recipe. I simply sauteed chopped onion, bell pepper and garlic, added Sarge's sauce and chicken broth, and then added the sauted shrimp. I plated it by putting it on top of my cooked grits and then topping it with a bit of chopped tomato. Yum!”

“I come here often and I love the service but there is something strange going on with one night crew member…I get the same thing every time so I know what the price is. A couple of times I have went recently, they don’t put the order on the screen and up charge me for a larger fry. I noticed this when my order was a couple dollars more than usual..I asked for a receipt because I wanted to see what was going on, had to ask multiple times and was told it was in the bag, it was in fact, not in the bag. I don’t appreciate that.”

The Creamery has a porch with tables, rockers and Adirondack chairs, a lawn where kids play, and cow watching. Inside they sell the classics, coffees and smoothies, take home pints, Howling Cow merch, and, at the holidays, their famous egg nog. I had a Tuffy's Special, which was the March student creation. It was so good! I really hope they make it a permanent menu item. The whole family enjoyed their treats. The staff even provided a lid for the banana split without us having to ask. The food here is amazing, the atmosphere is very friendly with fast service, and we are always treated very well by the friendly people who work here. I tried the fish tacos for the first time ever today, and they were excellent. The burritos which I have eaten before are stellar as well, and the refried beans are very good. The salsa and cheese dip that is available with the complimentary nachos are very good, and not too spicy at all and the rice, tamales and enchiladas are very good too. I am thankful for such a delicious meal after church, and can't wait for more ahead.”

When we complained that we were not informed by the menu nor the waitress, she said her hands were tied and corporate blah, blah, blah.....Ouch! Lesson Learned!”

We tried the Doppio Ravioli, which was delectable with roasted carrots in half and rabbit confit in the other. The Pappardelle Bolognese was also hearty and flavorful. We also tried the Brussels which are served in a cold salad and the beets with whipped ricotta. My dinner companions did not love the soda bread that came with the lamb rillette but the dish itself was tasty. We will definitely be back for more of the fresh Italian pasta with an English twist!”
