Some of the best casual Mediterranean food in Raleigh. The sweet potato salad, fattoush, and Kofta kabobs are outstanding. Finish it all with a "fancy date", dried dates with marscapone cheese and pistachios on top. They also have a market area with products unique to the region. Can't recommend this place highly enough!
Sassool is very fresh food. I get the You Pick 3 which is $11 and so good. It comes with their warm, out of the over, pita bread.Above picture is vegan:Autumn Root Salad,Mjadarah-or MJ, Sweet Potato Salad. Ask to try a spoonful. We ordered chicken shawarma with sides as lentil rice and Fatoush. Chicken kabab with sides as corn mix, stuffed grape leaves. Everything tasted good. This place is like a healthy option, whatever you order. There is also a mini grocery store inside. Service is good. We also tried their lemon mint drink, which is okay.
