“Glad we stopped here ! Authentic Mexican food, quick service. I had a favorite dish of mine, Camarones Al Mojo de Ajo. Good sized shrimp with a eye pleasing presentation. My husband thoroughly enjoyed the Carne Asada. I bookmarked this restaurant for future visits so we will be back !“

“Visited Rocky Mount for a volleyball tournament and based on reviews decided this would be the restaurant for our team dinner. Called and reserved without any issues a table for 34 people. We had two great waitresses take care of us and while the checkout process was a bit slow and the only reason the restaurant did not get 5 stars. Let's talk about the food. Delicious, I had the fajita burrito which is something I always order at most Mexican restaurants and it was delicious. I didn't tell her chicken so I was a bit disappointed that it was steak but that was my fault and not the waitress. My husband and my middle child ordered the same meal I can't remember the name but they both said it was good!! THE drinks are my favorite!! We ordered for our table of 4 adults the pineapple margarita tower !! OMG when it came out I was shocked but loved the idea of having this at the table to share with 4 adults . I received our own cups with sugar on the rim and fruit... If and when I go back I'm ordering again!! Hands down it's the best Mexican restaurant I've experienced and lives up to all the positive reviews !!“

“Stopped her for lunch around 12 pm. We were first in line. Caitlin took our order and was very patient, nice and proffessional. Other restaurants in our area need a Caitlin. We ordered 2 Nacho cheese tacos, 1 Fiesta potatoes, 2 med drinks and 2 soft tacos with chicken fresco style. Just so you know they charge a $2 upcharge to replace beef with chicken. Our total for 2 people was $19.35. The food was good and standard to Taco Bell. The atmosphere of the restaurant is casual. The bathrooms are clean, however, the doors are really streaky giving you the appearance things aren't so clean. That would be my only negative. Overall everything was good and we will be back. Unfortunately I forgot to take pics.“

“? El Jimador is our go to restaurant for sure considering it is the BEST Mexican restaurant around in our opinion. From the time we enter the doors this restaurant is amazing. Upon arriving we are always greeted with smiles, a cozy atmosphere, fast seating and fast service. After being seated the waiter/waitress starts everyone off with homemade chips, salsa and white sauce. The white sauce is like nothing I have ever seen at other Mexican restaurants. It is so delicious and pairs well with the salsa. Their sweet tea is another one of my favorite things about this place. I definitely need their secret recipe. Their menu has a wide selection of delicious choices for everyone including the kiddos, but some of my personal favorites are the fresh guacamole, burrito jimador, pollo charro, fried Baja shrimp tacos or mushroom quesadilla. The kids like their acp and chicken tenders with Mexican rice off the kids menu along with their large candy selection at check out for an after dinner treat. Keep up the good work!
