“Wonderful staff, kind and respectfulyoung men and women work here. I made a future order at 1638pm to pick up at 1730pm, I got here and realized it is only curbside pickup. A young man came out and took my name and returned stating to me they can not find the order. He went back in and came back out saying they found the order but it’s placed for tomorrow. I then realized my mistake I had made. The professionalism shown and execution on how to take care of the customer right away was on point. Showed to me a good manager has a wonderful team working with them. Keep it up young men and women. I appreciate your work ethics. I ordered two Brooklyn style (first time ordering Brooklyn style). Will post how they were made and tasted soon.“

I've been coming here for over 5 years consistently every week, and it's New York style pizza 100% plus all the other Italian dishes are excellent just as good as homemade if not better. “We love Wakefield tavern! The food is always delicious, the service is consistently great, and the atmosphere is always upbeat. We bring our kids so it's definitely family friendly. My reason for only 4 stars is that since we are a larger family, we are often put in the huge corner booth that has missing filling in the cushions, so you are sinking into the wooden base and it's really not comfortable.“

I am only giving 4 stars cause there was some confusion with when my pizza was ready for pick-up and therefore the pizza wasn’t 100% fresh cause it was waiting a while. “Food is great.... Telling time is Horrible. EVERYTIME we've been and arrived at time as told, we still end up waiting for 20-30 minutes for our order to be ready. Let it ride the first 7 - 8 times thinking they would fix it but went again tonight and same deal...If it's going to be an hour, then just tell us upfront. Don't like sitting in the parking lot for that amount of time. Need to fix it or we will just try somewhere else...“

It's a laid back pizza joint, casual is the point, omg if the food is good I'm not playing surrogate management and writing about staff not cleaning enough. “Excellent brick oven pizzas with reasonable pricing. Small cup and char pepperoni which is rare in the Raleigh area. Superb excellent service even though we arrived a half hour before closing. Missing a star because the interior is a little dated and worn, but the food and service makes up for that.“

“This place is incredible! I had the Dante's Inferno pizza which was probably the best I've ever had. Not only was it spicy, but it had several different kinds of spice. They also made a specialty drink for the film I'm in called, "The Blind Date," which incorporated a small light in the actual drink! But the best part of all was the seemingly ENDLESS cheese strand in their calzones. It was the closest thing to tasting Heaven I've had in a while. “I tried Modd pizza for the first time last week. My family liked us so much that we decided to order it today on pi day. However, my order was messed up, but I did not realize until I got home. When I called the restaurant up, they were very apologetic and accommodating. I asked if they remake the one out of the two pizzas that were messed up. When I got there not only had they remade the one pizza they had remade my whole order! Not only where they kind and apologized. I will continue to come back!“

Malvina and her team at Big Cheese Pizza were amazing, from the planning stages for staggered pick ups to ensure no one was served lukewarm pizza, to day-of adjustments to the schedule, to the quality of the product. We had great feedback that the pizza tasted great and was the right temperature, which was no small feat. Throughout the process, Malvina’s team was professional, courteous and willing to go the extra mile. I would highly recommend this location to any organization planning for a group event!“

“This isn't Spago. This is a take-out pizza place that has some seating for dine-in. For what it is, I give it five stars. They serve several different types of pizza, but I've only had the NY style crust and the gluten free option. The gluten free option is regarded as the superior gluten free crust from all other rivals in this household. The NY style is a lil' bit thicker than I'm accustomed to, but still really good. Is it pricey? Yeah, a little. Are the pastas and salads a little pedestrian? You betcha. Don't see the five stars and think there's going to be some transformative experience waiting for you -- there isn't. But, compared to similiar places, with similar price points, selling similar products, I'd say it's pretty great. My only gripe is that their specials/promos are for pizzas with one topping... which is wack because everyone knows that it's either plain cheese, or two (or more) toppings. Nobody over 12 years old looks forward to just one topping...“

“Walking into the building, the smell of the food and the look of the food draws you in.The pizza here is amazing! Me and my husband got a pizza (half pepperoni half cheese) and garlic knots. My daughter enjoyed it, we enjoyed it and will come back again. Definitely recommend!“

“Umm... there's alot of people complaining about the quality of the pizza and the lack of animatronics(?). I'm not sure you realize what this place is. Its a place for kids to play. Nobody is claiming to have great pizza here. Please do not come to this place to find the finest pizza slice east of the Mississippi. If you want to see state-of-art animatronics visit a robotics lab. Come here because you want your kids to be entertained for a couple of hours. There's games, pizza, live entertainment, and a questionable mouse/gangster type figure. If there's anything to complain about, it would be why this man appears to still be in charge, and why he transitioned from a rat about 30 years ago. But if you dare to go down that road, it will bring up more questions than answers.“

Do note that at this store you have to BRING YOUR PIZZA HOME, to COOK IT yourself. It's the whole point of the "Take 'N' Bake" experience.. People who leave bad reviews are usually Karens/Kyles who can't read a damn sign.
