“So many visitors to Atlantic City come to this block to visit White House Subs and miss out on the actual best landmark on the block that is Formica Bros Bakery right across the street. The bakery that creates the bread which is the real star of those famous sandwiches. Everything i have ever gotten from this tiny cafe and bakery is outstanding including the bread, pastries and baked goods and chocolate covered delights as well as their cannolis and tomato pie slices. The tomato pie actually deserves its own sentence to acknowledge how great it is; the bread and crust have a great crunch consistency and chew in all the right places and the sauce is exceptionally well balanced no too sweet and not too tart. just right and rivals any u will find in Philly or South Jersey. I also enjoy and the different sweet bread breakfast loaves and muffins. They also have several cakes that i have never tried but based on all my other experiences would no think twice about getting if need for a special occasion. Lastly I must say they make some of the best non chain store coffees, espressos and lattes i have ever had anywhere in the country and are a must pickup whenever i am driving by and need a quick pick me up for the ride home to PA. The staff is extra friendly and quick to help u pick the best item for your needs. And for such a small store it is incredibly comfortable, clean and well laid out to fit a whole lot of food and a few tables looking out onto Arctic Ave. Love these old authentic independent stores and will always be a visitor as long as we both are around.“

“As soon as walk into this place it just oozes positive energy everywhere. With the inspiring words, to the decor, and to the most energetic and uplifting staff I’ve ever come across, this is a must go to place in Atlantic City. The chef is friendly and has such a positive energy coming off him I felt like I’ve know him for years.The food is amazing. The Chelsea snap wrap is amazing as well as the Pastrami sandwich is superb.And the coffee? Oh wow the coffee is absolutely amazing as well. The Irish cream latte is the best one I’ve ever had in years.I rarely go to the same place twice unless I genuinely love it and I can tell you this, every time I’m in Atlantic City I will definitely be coming here. This is my new favorite place here.“

“You can smell the delicious bread as you approach. The bread is phenomenal and reasonably priced. The guava bread is delicious and my favorite is the bread with the pineapple cream inside. Not too overly sweet but delicious and creamy. This bread is delicious kind you can eat for breakfast. They also make some killer flan...once you go, you will want to continue to go. Please note that they only accept CASH. Know before you go, but go !!! You'll be glad you did. I hope they will be selling Pan de Muertos.“

“Best bread in Jersey!!!!! I might add this is the only bread made in Atlantic City! All of their products are great , round rolls , sub rolls , seeded breads, tomatoe pie , pizza shells, sour dough, bread crumbs, twists , well you get the idea!!!!! Oh they ship all across the country. Try the par baked bread , I sent some to my family and they love it !!“
