“Can I please give it 6 stars? I recently went there with a group of five family members while visiting New Jersey and we had a truly extraordinary night! As an investor in restaurants I'm very critical when visiting any restaurant and not often impressed even with well known critically acclaimed restaurants. It's very rare when a place has truly incredible food with every appetizer and entree as well as first class VIP vibes for service. You could literally taste the passion and care put into every plate with beautifully prepared flavorful abundant meals. In fact, it was the first time in almost a decade I brought home leftovers as the meal was delicious and easily sufficient for two people. Our entire table raved about their meals and the attentive but not obtrusive service was always there to refill our wine and assist without any of us having to look up for service. The food alone would have made for a great night but what truly made it memorable besides the great waitstaff was the manager, Eli. When was the last time a manager, GM or owner greated you at your table to share a polite, interesting and passionate conversation about the food and why they love sharing this experience with their valued customers? He made our entire table feel like VIPs and made perfect recommendations for wine and dessert. It felt more like we were in someone's home as we were there for close to 3-1/2 hours talking, eating, drinking and laughing. The ambiance is warm and unpretentious and the memories of a great experience will certainly bring us back again.“

“The food here is fresh and really really delicious. The spicy chicken shish tawook is so tender and has just enough of a kick. The platter comes with 2 sides--I got the salad and the rice--both fantastic. I'm sure the fries (the other option) would have been just as good. The garlic dipping sauce is out of this world with such great flavor. The restaurant was not crowded, so the waiter only had 2 tables, so the service was pretty good. The mint iced tea was also light and delicious. I would definitely recommend this place if you enjoy authentic, fresh, deliciously prepared Lebanese food. A+. Reasonably priced and really hits the spot! I'll be coming back for more!!“

“We had a reservation and we were promptly seated. Our server was very nice and the food delicious. Again everything from the alcoholic beverages and entrees to the desserts. One disappointment was that I ordered the shrimp and grits which was supposed to come with bacon and chorizo, I asked for no chorizo and the dish came without both bacon and chorizo. The server was busy which I understand and wasn’t able to check on us while eating , so I ate most of my meal and alerted him at the end before we all ordered dessert. He apologized and said he would find out what went wrong but never followed up. I would never expect the meal to be free or anything like that, but maybe a simple free dessert or ten percent off the wrong prepared entree would be a nice gesture. Small differences matter especially when our bill was quite high. I’m sure we would return but when you are paying a premium for a good experience, something could have been done. Other than the small issue , a good experience.“

“Bartender was great and very personable and was a great beginning . Bucatini pasta and oysters were delicious. Scallops were ok and as a chef the veal chop parmesan crusted was definitely a pork chop . I love pork but don't try to fool people, that is not ethical . As i said i'm an italian chef and the bone on the rack was definitely pork !! Not Cool , not sure what else to say but didn't expect this from La Grigila“

My server even brought me the wrong food one time, and it was soooo good that I hadn't even noticed until halfway through my meal! It really was an easy mistake because it was Valentine's Day, and the place was packed! It was not her fault at all, and I couldn't blame her! Especially since the meal was delicious, and she inadvertently introduced me to something that I might normally have even tried! Kudos!“

I had asked for a baked potato instead of fries and when the food came out there was fries with my sandwich. Sabrina was very quick to get it corrected. “We tried Hook & Reel for the first time and enjoyed it so much, we went back 2 days later. The food was well prepared, delicious, and served hot. Yummy lobster bisque, I ordered a 2nd bowl after finishing the first! Fried calamari was yummy as well. The raw oysters were perfect and the boil with Hook & Reel's own Cajun sauce was outstanding. Our server, Moe, was friendly and very efficient; he makes your dining experience error-free so you can relax and enjoy the meal. The Manager here gets credit for a well-run ship! He really appreciates the customers and it shows. You will definitely want to eat here frequently. Great service, tasty food, relaxed atmosphere - you won't be disappointed.“

They were busy but got our food out in a good quality time . Garlic shrimp was amazing !!! Dave the sauce for dipping your bread and even adding your rice for a nice twist !!! Will def come back ! “Definitely a five star experience!!! We arrived just before happy hour ended (4-5:30) and they were kind enough to place a quick order of oysters!!! They were super fresh and delicious... favs were west coast (sorry NJ). Next, came the Parker rolls!!! Probably my favorite part of the meal, but then again, who doesn't like homemade, freshly baked rolls with buttered top and a touch of salt!!! Because everything looked so good, we opted for a bunch of other appys to start! The New Zealand angus beef bites were served with horseradish aioli and a Parker roll, the halloumi cheese was accompanied by orange slices, prosciutto, radicchio and dehydrated olives. The octopus was spectacular... crispy with romanesco sauce, fried chickpeas, cilantro and paprika breadcrumbs. Of course, we had to also try the OHS mussel pot... with chorizo, saffron, garlic cream, sun dried tomatoes... and an herbed garlic roll on top!!! LOVED THEM ALL! It's not often that so many different, but complimentary flavors are presented in each dish!!! We could have stopped our meals there and would have been pleasantly satisfied and full! Next, we chose a couple of the sirloin sandwiches with fries, and the squid ink pasta with Calabrian chili and Meyer lemon breadcrumbs!!! All was very good. The evening was finished with 3 of their delicious desserts... the lemon meringue tart was the perfect sweet with a pucker. The molten dark chocolate cake was decadent. And the trio of gelatos were each so uniquely flavorful and delicious! Wow!!! Given that 100 steps is a BYOB, it makes everything even more affordable! We had spectacular service in this beautiful restaurant with amazing food! It was quite a special evening!“

“I went there today with my mom and dad and had a great lunch.They had the oxtails and I had the red snapper steam fish. Both dishes were delicious. Very authentic in seasoning and presentation of the meals. Made me feel like I was back home in jam down. Real yardy style. We were very satisfied and the owners were very warm and inviting.“

“Visited a restaurant for the birthday party in May 2022. Clean, welcomed staff, good service, a lot of parking on the street. We placed an order. It was not too long, which is good because the reservation was for 6:30 pm and everybody was hungry. Appetizers were delicious especially both types of calmers. 3 people ordered NYS trip stakes. OMG! All 3 stakes were stingy. Nobody finished the stake. Medium and well done came up the same. Black color even tongue was black after eating the steak. It's because when cooked the steak did not clean the grail. Also, I recommend checking your receipt. We found 3 items that we did not get on the table for a total of almost $80. One of them we never ordered, and two newer ones were delivered to the table.“

“Came here with my husband after deciding to have seafood for dinner. We were very satisfied. Everything was delicious, we enjoyed sweet Thai chili calamari, mussels in white wine sauce, blackened mahi, shrimp and scallops (which I have had elsewhere on the island and was not satisfied, but I decided to give them a try again at Cole’s and they did not disappoint one bit). 10/10 fresh delicious seafood, will be back and recommend.“

“My husband and I went for dinner last night and from the second we walked in, the service was impeccable. Our waiter, (sorry I am bad with names,) shared all his favorites. We took his recommendation on the scallops, and it was spot on! I had the seared Ahi, and my husband had the lobster ravioli. Both fantastic! We finished with the pistachio tartufo, which was delicious! All of this, plus the best espresso martini made it a great experience. We will be regulars.“

“I can't say enough about the food at Lacey's. Huge family style platters served by friendly staff. You need a big appetite to finish a meal here. A little hard to find parking close by. Parking is limited to the street but well worth the effort. The Thursday Lobsterfest is very good and can get crowded “

“Owners Frank and Carmen treat you like family from the minute you walk in. It’s a small cozy place which we loved. We are all food lovers used to eating out and yet we were all impressed when we tried all the fresh specials Frank prepared off menu. The Tomahawk steak was absolutely amazing especially with his own special sauce that accompanied it. The eggplant pasta special with olives was phenomenal. Carmen was lovely making sure we were attended to and uncorked our wine as it is a BYOB for now. Both of them made a special birthday dessert tray for me as a surprise. They both genuinely care that you feel happy with your entire food experience. So give it a try and get the specials of the day you will be glad you did.“

“Kudos go out to the Marina Cafe for doing Thanksgiving up right! No wonder the restaurant was packed today. A wide variety of plates to choose from today, making it hard to decide. We went with the Turkey Dinner and it was perfect. What a tender bird, roasted perfectly. The tiramisu at the end was the cherry on the cake. Best I ever had! I know sometimes it's hit or miss when you go out to eat on a holiday! Not the case at the Marina Cafe! And of course, the view can't be beat! ? — at Marina Cafe.“
