The food was good, but our combo platter didn't come with Doner kebab (not sliced from the meat rack). Place is BYOB, so you should definitely bring some alcohol. It was Thursday dinner time, but there were only 2 other tables. Good for us, I guess, but not so much for the business. I asked a Turkish coworker, and he said he stopped coming here. All other Turkish and Mediterranean restaurants try to imitate Dayinin Yeri, none come close. This restaurant sets the gold standard for healthy Mediterranean cuisine par excellence. I am a devote of the 333 Palisades Avenue location, although the Gorge Road location is EXCELLENT and beautiful.Dayinin Yeri is ideal for a date, group of friends (and family) or a party. It was an okay Turkish restaurant. The food has no salt at all. Pide, shish kebabs non of them. So they don’t have no taste of course. Weird!!The service was nice. Our waitress was nice. Dessert, kunefe, was very tasty. That’s all it. Also it’s a pretty expensive restaurant.
