“Garlic Rose is our family's place for special dinners! The food is always fresh and delicious. We usually get Sangria by the pitcher, its sooo good! They make you feel like family at their house for dinner. The wait staff are very professional and well versed in the menu. I highly recommend The Garlic Rose.“

“Reconnected with a childhood friend and the first time vist for the both of us. It was a random choice, but a GREAT one!The ambiance caught my attention as soon as I entered. I liked the layout of the establishment and the wonderful ENERGY of the staff who greeted us.Our server was TAMMY and she was FANTASTIC!! “Definitely a five star experience!!! We arrived just before happy hour ended (4-5:30) and they were kind enough to place a quick order of oysters!!! They were super fresh and delicious... favs were west coast (sorry NJ). Next, came the Parker rolls!!! Probably my favorite part of the meal, but then again, who doesn't like homemade, freshly baked rolls with buttered top and a touch of salt!!! Because everything looked so good, we opted for a bunch of other appys to start! The New Zealand angus beef bites were served with horseradish aioli and a Parker roll, the halloumi cheese was accompanied by orange slices, prosciutto, radicchio and dehydrated olives. The octopus was spectacular... crispy with romanesco sauce, fried chickpeas, cilantro and paprika breadcrumbs. Of course, we had to also try the OHS mussel pot... with chorizo, saffron, garlic cream, sun dried tomatoes... and an herbed garlic roll on top!!! LOVED THEM ALL! It's not often that so many different, but complimentary flavors are presented in each dish!!! We could have stopped our meals there and would have been pleasantly satisfied and full! Next, we chose a couple of the sirloin sandwiches with fries, and the squid ink pasta with Calabrian chili and Meyer lemon breadcrumbs!!! All was very good. The evening was finished with 3 of their delicious desserts... the lemon meringue tart was the perfect sweet with a pucker. The molten dark chocolate cake was decadent. And the trio of gelatos were each so uniquely flavorful and delicious! Wow!!! Given that 100 steps is a BYOB, it makes everything even more affordable! We had spectacular service in this beautiful restaurant with amazing food! It was quite a special evening!“

“The food was delicious and service was awesome. We got the Southwest Bowl with chorizo, the Mediterranean Omelette, the Bella Nutella, the Crab Hash, the pancake sampler and Cinnabuns. We will definitely be going back as everything was amazing. I would definitely recommend, as you will enjoy it just as much as we did.“

“I got a Cuban sandwich and it was soooo yum. Monica was our server and she was great! Very attentive and sweet. My husband got a horseradish burger and actually commented on the heat, which usually doesn't affect him at all, so KUDOS! Also if you're not saying "tirsty turtle" with an Irish accent, you don't even know how to live. I'm sure we will be back.“

“We got the dessert for our wedding this past weekend from the Cake Artist. It was a huge hit! They matched all the colors to our wedding colors and my wedding cake was both beautiful and delicious. I didn’t personally get to try a donut but I was told they were fantastic by everyone and they flew off their little shelves! Will of course go back and continue going back for other occasions!“

“Interesting basement restaurant and bar. Very good food, but when we went the noise was ear splitting, even the staff was complaining about a crazy birthday party they was going on. Very friendly staff, and we had typical bar food. Wide selection of beers, and decent sized menu. The burger was excellent, the farmers daughter pizza was good also“
