“I travel a lot for sales. I love a hole in the wall Chinese food place. I thought that’s what this was gonna be. It’s not.Parking lot is crowded due to the nature of the strip mall. Laundry mat, some small stores, and really just decent foot traffic. Off the main road though so getting in and out is a breeze.Place was empty, must have just opened for the day. Atmosphere was nice. Had the typical Asian food spot vibe, but this place was very clean. It is easy to see how clean it is when no one is eating in there. I mean even the bathrooms were well taken care of. Only downside, no AC and today was hot, and I’m eating hot food. I don’t know their situation so a minor complaint because…The food was rocking. I mean it kicked butt. The food was fresh because it was scorching hot as it came out. Had to wait for it to cool off. Egg roll crunched hard as you bit into it. Soup had plenty of good flavor and was balanced with the spicy.You can see they are generous with the meat. It was so much I couldn’t finish. Felt bad throwing it away but it really was a large size.Service was excellent. Last who greeted me was very attentive and didn’t feel overbearing as I was the only customer in the store.Would definitely recommend to a friend.“

“From the outside this place doesn’t look too convincing. I passed by this place more than a dozen of times but it wasn’t until not until a friend recommended it. I’m here to recommend you of this place. Our server, The young man was very patient, friendly and kind. We went in for the lunch combo. Pick 2 for 10.95 or 3 for 12.95. You can pick from soup and or appetizers and an entree. I got the lemongrass soup with a 4/5 spice level and a chicken drunken noodle with a 4/5 spice level. And finish it off with a mango sticky rice (not part of the lunch combo), my toddlers were sharing a chicken fried which they devoured- everything was great. They were delicious and I can’t wait to go back. Try it. You wouldn’t regret it!“

“The food was really good and the staff is so nice! I took a Thai ice tea and the drunken noodles with beef but there were also vegetarian options. The large noodles were so tasty, I will definitely come back to try another dish!Vegetarian options: Some plates/appetizers are vegetarian and some others you can choose your protein and there are vegetarian choices available!“

“House of Thai is a hidden gem in Mayfair! The owners are wonderful people that treat you like you’re family! The atmosphere is calm & relaxing & intimate! I’ve been going here for years & they never disappoint. They’re consistent in the flavorful, freshness of their food! I ordered pickup through Uber eats as I haven’t had them in a while & Of course they still didn’t disappoint. They were so quick with making the food! It came fast & was packaged with care! It was warm & fresh & full of flavor! Truly a 5 star experience! I recommend EVERYONE try here! The owners are deserving of local business support as well! Thank you, I will be back again of course! “What can I say besides my meal was soooo delicious. I got the Chicken pad ga prow with a fried egg on top. I definitely think I may have gotten it too spicy but nonetheless it was very delicious & the Thai iced tea was the perfect drink to cool off the spice in my mouth. I haven’t stopped thinking about this meal or the tea since I tasted it!My friend got a fried rice and the Thai iced coffee which were both equally delicious. “It’s decent. Ordered based off of previous reviews but it’s decent, not bad…just okay I would not return. Order their ‘Chinese’ food for lunch, 3 lunches. Kung Lao was pale and without spice, which was unusual but it wasn’t bad just different.Sesame chicken is breast meat but was dry in my opinion…But try for yourself! “Had a great dinner today. The server was efficient and friendly. The atmosphere was very sophisticated and relaxing. I got the coconut soup, drunken noodles with tofu and shrimp as well as the lava cake with scoop of coconut ice cream on top. The flavors were incredible and diverse. “Asian Thai is the only Asian place I eat from in the area. It's good clean food. It is always nicely hot and packaged neatly. Whenever I get off of the road I eat from here. It's almost like a tradition. I love the General T's o tofu, the vegetable lo mein, and the veggie spring rolls. I get off the road in 2 weeks and I can't wait to order. Their delivery range is awesome as well.“

“Asian Bamboo is our favorite Chinese restaurant. The food is always cooked perfectly & tastes delicious. The customer service is amazing as well! We forgot to ask for one of the items to be prepared a certain way when we placed a recent take out order. We called them to ask if it was too late to get our item changed. They were gracious & understanding. They prepared our item just as we asked and it was super yummy!“

It was a type of flat pancake with very delicious sesame seeds and scallions. The dipping sauce was and another burst of flavor.The Orange beef was very good. The meat was tender and an explosion of flavor. The ingredients seemed very fresh.The Bean curd with Szechuan sauce was very excellent. The veggies were crisp and the sauce was a good proportion to the rest of the dish.The owners were very friendly and made sure we were taken care of. “You would think Shumai Wok is actually a dine in restaurant from its name. But it is actually a takeout and delivery restaurant. With that being said, don't expect off-the-chart service and food lol. Everything is pretty fast-paced in here. Don't worry about parking, since SW sits in a little center. I've only gotten sushi from Shumai Wok, so far so good. My favorite is the Philly Roll. It has the smoked salmon, cream cheese, and avocado(I have ask to sub the cucumbers with avocado). Boston Roll and Crispy Kani Roll is also very tasty. Will update once I try other rolls in the future.P.S. Shumai Wok accept credit cards. If your purchase is under $10, they will add a surcharge of $0.50, I guess for fees.“

“My boyfriend and I went to visit the restaurant two days ago and decided to do a review. as soon as we walked in, we were immediately greeted by the owner and another associate. The owner brought us to a quiet section and was very quick with grabbing us some waters to start off with. The server came over with some hot tea and asked us if we had any questions about the menu. The seats were comfortable and the restaurant was clean and comfortable. You can tell that the owner enjoys seeing the community in his restaurant as he made his rounds around the place. We did put a order in for steam dumplings and pleasantly surprised by not only the price but the taste of them. We also ordered the fried wings and they were hot and perfectly seasoned for dinner. We ordered the triple combination that came with fried rice and it was a perfect size to split between two adults, featured a beef shrimp and a chicken dish. We both enjoyed the beef and shrimp but the chicken with peas wasn't our favorite. The chicken surprisingly didn't have as much flavor as the rest of them.“

It's a restaurant where you can talk and not noisy like a lot of restaurants. The outdoor patio is lovely in warm months. The back dining room is nice if you have a small group...perhaps up to 10. “we ordered delivery from Asian chef tonight, and when I got my order (bento box with salmon teriyaki, rice, shrimp shumai, and cucumber avocado roll). Instead of salmon, I ended up receiving shrimp teriyaki. I wasn’t going to call but I figured I may as well just let them know- the employee who answered the phone was so nice and apologetic, and immediately offered to bring me the correct protein that I ordered. I accepted the offer and asked if he wanted me to return the untouched shrimp order, but he said to keep it! then, I expected them to just deliver me the salmon to add to the meal, but they brought me an ENTIRE other bento box with the salmon! I was so shocked! not only that, but they also returned the cash to make up the difference in price on the order. they did NOT have to do that, but it shows so much about their restaurant. we also ordered some sushi, drunken noodles, and a seaweed salad and it did not disappoint at all. we will be ordering from asian chef again soon thanks to their kindness, and their excellent quality food!!“
