“Been meaning to review Table 42 many times before. I have the honestly say, the food, the staff and environment are delicious, super friendly and very accomadating. The atmosphere was relaxing and the live musician was the perfect background. I've had apps, entrees and their thin crust pizza and would recommend every dish on the menu. “This is our favorite place… This is the side of meatballs and Ziti Norcina with homemade sausage. I have tried many different pasta dishes and love them all. It’s hard to choose when I get there. The service and staff are great. But the person that stands out to us, every time we go is Roy. He appreciates our business and is very friendly and outgoing. Every restaurant needs a Roy. “Had the pleasure of stumbling upon this gem for dinner. We were able to walk in around 8pm and be seated quickly. The restaurant was big with many dining rooms, a bar and w beautiful outdoor area which opens up in the warmer weather. We were greeted by the owner himself, Marco and he sat us fairly quickly. He was so nice, the second he brought us the menu he said, "if there's anything not anything on this menu that you want, just let me know" which was already unique in itself. We were all able to find something for each of us on his pretty extensive menu, he had everything you would find at a typical Italian restaurant. When you sit down, you get a bread basket and a little bowl of bruschetta with balsamic vinegrette which was a great start. The wine selection was nice and the cocktails were great. We ordered with the burrata for our app which was good. For our entrees we got the orchiette, jumbo shrimp pasta and gnocchi with vodka sauce. All of it was so good. The jumbo shrimp sauce with the angel hair made the dish and the vodka sauce for my gnocchi was to die for, in addition to them being pillowy goodness. Our only regret is that we wish we had saved room for dessert. Looking to coming back here for their outdoor patio!“

“Great experience and food at That's Amore Trattoria! I had the linguine with clams (white sauce) and was not disappointed. Nice fresh bread with olive oil. Service was very good and attentive. Simple menu with some good specials. Would go back to try more. It's BYOB/W so bring a bottle or two!“

“Even though Google says they open at 11 am. I called to push my luck and to my surprise they were open and I called them at 10:30 am! The owner of the restaurant Anthony picked up the phone. He is the most sweetest man I have ever spoke with on the phone. This is my first time ordering a huge order for my work place and he helped me plan everything and I was so nervous to because it's my first ordering for my work place and trying out NJ pizza. I only know NYC pizzas lol. I am getting off topic here. I highly recommend this place for anyone. They are so welcoming and you can definitely tell they care about their clients needs. Their pizzas is just as good as NYC.“

“This place is always my first stop when flying back home. It’s so easy to place an order online, and if I time it once we hit 78, it’s ready to be picked up on the way home from EWR. The sandwiches are always fresh, delicious, and they live up to every memory of growing up in NJ. Trust me when I tell you that these sandwiches are the stuff dreams are made of. Absolute Core Memory stuff. Make sure to grab a few arancini, with some sauce to dip with and complete the flavor profile. And of course a cannoli or two.“

“Enjoyed a fantastic dinner at the bar. Plenty of space between the chairs & service was great! Loved the focaccia bread with the tasty dipping sauce. Mozzarella Frittata app was so light with a good pull of cheese. For dinner I had the Nonna's spaghetti with added meatballs (yum) & my husband got the chicken parm which he loved (huge serving!) & a side of broccolini that was excellent. We had enough to bring home for dinner tonight! For dessert we got the Zeppole's - a must have!! Definitely coming back. You can also come here & get a thin crust pizza which I plan to do next time as they looked so good! Great place for sure!“

“Do you like authentic thin crust Italian pie? I do! This is why I love their pizza. I love the bubble in the crust with just the right amount of cheese to sauce ratio. I always ask for very little cheese on my Margherita pizza and more sauce. They get it perfect every time. I liked it better than the pie I had in Naples.“

“Visiting from Chicago and I have to say this was the best Italian sandwich I’ve ever had. I got the chicken milanese which was perfect because I love fried cutlets. It had the perfect balance of flavors with the roasted red peppers and other toppings. It was a big enough portion to satiate my appetite and gave me energy for the rest of the day. I’m sure any of the other sandwiches are also the best in their category. And you can see behind the retail front where they make everything in house. I’ll be back next time I’m in the area.“

So I ordered a personal Mushroom, Plain and a specialty one. Let me tell you this, IF you like a good crunch pizza..... On every bite.... Good flavor that stands tall..... This is the place to go.... ABSOLUTELY, so far, one of the best around.... This hole in a wall will surprise the s#$& out of you. Next time I will go for a full size pie and tell you how that goes....It will be interesting... I have been in places where I love there personal size and didn't like there full size....and let me add..... It was so good that I ate the personal Mushroom before I got home and I love down the road in Morristown... “We had dinner in the dining room. A great space behind the pizzeria area in front. We were on the early side of a Friday night and they space for us, but would recommend a reservation. It was full by the time we left. Food was great. The fresh bread and mushroom app special was exceptional. It’s BYO and a short walk to wine store on south street. We met one of the owners who offered a suggested wine pairing for my entree. We were happy to learn they are passionate about quality and sourcing of their food. Shrimp is from gulf and not international where they destroy environments and abuse people. They grow their own fresh herbs in front window (yes those are for the kitchen) and with grow lights in a closet. Looking forward to coming back to try the pizza.“

“Everything I have tried is fantastic. It's the best gluten free pasta I've ever tried.EDIT: Just had to mention this: Ordered takeout and got home and saw the penne vodka wasn't GF. Called up the restaurant, they realized they made a mistake and made a fresh GF penne vodka. Not only that, they delivered it to my home and when I tried to tip the delivery guy he wouldn't accept it. This week we were supposed to get food from another local vendor, but even with confirmation, they did not show up and told us they forgot. Mario's to the RESCUE! “Fascinating place. I ended up here after a group outing where the host said "I'm ordering ahead" for a plain pie. That's not me, so I held out to get to Tony's and see what they got. In a word, Mexican. In two words, Latin American. I'm not just talking the hosts here, I'm talking the pizza flavors themselves. They have all your standards, and then they have some fascinating options that are built on Latin American flavors. As you see from my photo, there were slices of chicken fajita out. I grabbed the two with chipotle sauce and left the two with ranch, but trust me, there were a lot more varieties than just that. Anyway, this place is apparently trusted to call ahead and deliver when you arrive, so that's good service. Plenty of room for a party of 8 - we sat immediately upon arrival at 8:00 pm - so not just a takeout place. As far as pizzae: * Mine was delicious, but not cheap - two slices and a drink ran me $12! * Cheese pizza is nice and thin, but some of their slices are definitely thick crusted. I made sure to stay away from those. It may be an option, not sure. * Pepperoni that someone else ordered was super-oily, more than I'm used to with the 'roni. * Someone did order a square slice, very thick crust, and remarked that it felt a lot lighter than he expected. I don't know if that's different than Tony's usual, or what to make of that. All in all, if you are a pizza traditionalist, this place may or may not work for you. I think that unique flavors is a selling point, and the pizza is good enough quality (from an NYC standard) where I would come back for those. If I was local, maybe this would be my joint, but I'm a few towns away and I'm not about to ditch my local place for Tony's. But that's pizza 'round these parts. Outside of the expensive price, Tony's is a fun place to try some new pie.“

“I’ve never had anything but excellent pizza from Sorrento’s. It’s a very solid, local pizza place. I always order it in advance and then walk to pick it up and the guys in there are always super friendly. If you are picking up, it’s easy to park on the street right in front and pop in a grab your food. All I want from a regular old school pizza place is good pizza and Sorrento’s never disappoints.“
