“Update***I had the drip coffee today and they refilled my coffee frequently. And it tasted great!!! Thanks for the great food and service!!!*******I really like the food and the ambience here - 5 stars. Why did I give it 3 stars overall then?It over charges for SMALL cups of americanos without refills. 1 small cup (1 shot expresso and 1 shot water) is $6. I’m talking about a small tea cup here.You end up paying $24 for 4 small tea cups of americanos for 2 people which is equivalent to 2 grande americanos at Starbucks for 3 TIMES the price. Sadly the drip coffees don’t taste as good and aren’t refilled either.Will I still eat here? Every so often because I like the food, but I won’t come as often as I would because of how much they over charge for coffee. I feel like I’m letting someone rob me…”

“Taverna Veranda is lovely! Delicious food, great ambiance, great service and right on the water in Edgewater. I will say it is a little more upscale so maybe for special occasions or special date nights. I certainly enjoyed my time here.”

“The dine in experience was absolutely amazing, the service was perfect, the food was absolutely amazing and the atmosphere was nice to be around. I got the son of a bun and it was great, the house sauce was a perfect match to the burger and the cajun fries were the best fries I’ve had in a while, not too spicy at all! Definitely worth an hour trip!”

“Everything about the restaurant was great! Staff were very friendly and attentive and there’s a great view of the water. My only complaint is how expensive the food is. I ordered a simple grilled salmon and it was $48, the salmon was delicious but it was far smaller then what I normally see at cheaper restaurants and there was nothing else on the plate, no garnish of any kind so the plate looked sad. The small salmon sat in the middle of a big white plate. I’d expect for how much I was paying for the food to at least look a bit more presentable and “flashy” but regardless it was a good salmon. I spent $140 overall for a dinner of 2 with 2 entrees, 2 sides and a dessert.”

“One of the best restaurants in northern NJ, De Novo combines stunning Hudson River views with exquisitely prepared Italian dishes. We ordered Medjool Dates, Caesar salad, Lasagna and Prime Short Ribs. Every bite was amazing and our server Emily was fantastic. Happy to pay for the atmosphere and experience, and eagerly anticipate returning.”

“It was the 1st time I came to Daisy's Grill and was impressed, the atmosphere is so cute! Music was 50's/60's music in the background. When our breakfast arrived, it was delicious. Everything we touched was so tasty and had a lightness to it that really showcased the essence of the food. Will definitely come back again!”

“The coffees are usually great which is why I always visit this cafe. Unfortunately they've let new barista (aka cashiers) make the coffees and the quality of the coffees just are not the same. Lattes taste like regular coffee, that's quite disappointing.....”

“The ramen is amazing every time I go. Still top ramen spots in NJ. Service is fast depending on how busy it is, but due to popularity, it is usually busy. Atmosphere is good, but usually trying to find a place to sit is a challenge, again, due to popularity, as it's in a food court style seating. Worth the wait as well as seating challenge though for sure.”

“A much needed addition to edgewater and the overall area!I wish they offered ekmek kataifi!But If you are looking for a relaxing cafe with lots of cakes, crepes, greek and turkish sweets, coffees and teas, and lots of seating, this is the place for you.They have traditional Greek desserts like kataifi and ravani which are delicious and turkish coffees. They also have lunch options and spinach or cheese pies etc..Owners are sweet and overall this is a gem for the area!”

“The food is delicious—the flavors clean and bright. We started with guacamole served with plantain chips and chorizo sautéed with onions. I had the skirt steak with yucca fries and dirty rice. All well prepared. The service is friendly and well intentioned, but they could be more professional and check on tables a bit more. If you haven't eaten here, you should. The food is excellent and we all know you can't eat atmosphere.”

“Generally, when I order either a sushi or a sashimi combo from local sushi takeout places, I need to make myself a side of udon or ramen because they don't fill me up.But the "Large Combo Box" was indeed large, and I was pretty full from it alone that I didn't need to complement anything else for dinner.The main thing that I look for in a takeout place is value, and Sushi To Go certainly provides value. “Discovered this little gem a last summer (2023) and have been coming back ever since.Usually I get the bbq trio platter, which has a little of everything: ribs, chicken and brisket with two sides. This is plenty for two, and if for one person, then you have left overs.Last week I finally tried their wings. Holy cow!I was affraid they'll be saggy when I got home to eat them. But they are so well packed. The contained has a vent once closed, which allows for the steam to scape while the wings remain hot, crunchy onhe outside, and tender on the inside.”

“This Texas girl fell in love. I was with a big party & the service was great! The food was excellent; its on my list to revisit next time I'm in town again. I tried about four different apps and they were all amazing! The shrimp was perfection, the Connecticut lobster roll is a must, and the lobster mac & cheese was great. “Kai Sweets took over the old matcha-centric stall at the Mitsuwa food court. They have ice cream now, which is super soft and creamy and comes in lots of Asian flavors like matcha, black sesame, and hojicha. I've previously tried their triple soft serve ($9) which comes in a waffle bowl and lets you choose any three flavors you wish to try. Their three most popular flavors remain the matcha, black sesame, and purple potato. On my most recent visit, I tried their Mont Blanc ($7.50) which comes with your choice of ice cream and purée topping. The staff member was kind enough to include a matcha-black sesame swirl for my ice cream when I couldn't choose between the two. She also recommended the purple sweet potato purée for my mont blanc. Truthfully, I wasn't a big fan of the purée topping as I felt it was a little too overly sweet and dry. But, I loved the ice cream and would definitely recommend getting that.”

“I have been coming to Moe's for years and absolutely love the place! Big portions, decent prices, FREE chips and salsa! The staff is always really nice and helpful. One of the things I like best is how consistently clean both the kitchen and the dining room are. I have been to other Moe's and Bubbakoo's Burritos where the line of food is just a big gross mess. You NEVER see that at this Moe's! Love that they have tofu as a protein and the new dressings they offer are delicious!”

“Located inside Mitsuwa. When you walk in, take a straight shot back while staying at the front of the store. They're tucked away in the corner by the self checkout area. They are best known for their Pullman bread. Great for sandwiches. I love it for avocado toast. Folks like their various sweet pastries, but they have savory ones too. My favorite is the mildly sweet, spicy and fragrant earl gray muffins. Give them a try!”

“After shopping, we decided it was lunch time. What better than some onigiri? The new limited edition, Scallop Onigiri was advertised on their Instagram page awhile ago and I couldn't wait to try it. Always crowded and packed with long lines but their onigiris are always delicious. Sometimes cold because while it's made fresh that day, it was made earlier in the day and probably had cooled down and sat at the display all day long. Scallop onigiri- while delicious I was expecting abit more oomph. Very tasty tho.”

“We were looking for a spot after a day at SoJo Spa and I had a hankering for Beef Pan Fried Noodles. Found this place right across the street which was convenient since we were super hungry. The food was fresh and delicious AND the BEST beef pan fried noodle I've had in a long time! Staff was friendly however as it got busy it took a few tries to get a refill from our waitress. Check this place out, you won't be disappointed!”

“I have been to Sushi Cruise many times. Lunch and dinner. It's my go to place if I'm in the mood for sushi. The owner and most staff are friendly and attentive. The sushi is fantastic and fresh ( a little pricey but what isn't these days?!) At least I get top notch food. My favorite is the sashimi salad bowl. Yum!! And the view is fantastic. It's a BYOB but that's fine. Can't wait to go back!!”

“It was a cold cloudy day when I had lunch. Was always craving curry udon. I wish they had larger bowl size for more noodle portion. Ordered the beef curry udon noodles soup. Delish as always. I usually go next door to the ramen place to get a spoon of their togarashi spice and add it to the curry udon. It makes it better. I wish they offer it here as well... My husband decided to try the mackerel as it looked great in the display. There was a sign that stated fresh grilled fish can take up to 20min or so- there is a wait but worth it. My husband loved it.”

“What a fun place to go and have some conversation with a friend! Coffee is always fresh and brewed right. The cappuccino was fluffy with milk the consistency of silk. The picture closest to you is their tiramisu. MUST GET, holy hell they put amaretto ice cream sandwich between lady finger goodness. My friend got a dish that consisted of chocolate brownies and raspberry. What a blissful experience to my sweet tooth! Been coming here for years and it hits every single time. Check it out for a date night too the caves take a while to reserve but once in there it’s such a dope experience. Oh and it’s BYOB!”

We ordered the banh mi frites for starters and the waitress suggested a new item on the menu that was served as an app. The slow cooked ribs, omg 10/10!!! I can’t begin to explain how good everything was from beginning to end (we also stayed for dessert because the menu looked way too promising, we HAD to). The music was amazing, def a fun yet intimate atmosphere perfect for date night or casual eats. The appetizers, the mains, the desserts and even their strawberry lemonade and thai tea all were 10/10! 100% coming back during a nice day to sit outside by the water.”
