“One of the best restaurants in northern NJ, De Novo combines stunning Hudson River views with exquisitely prepared Italian dishes. We ordered Medjool Dates, Caesar salad, Lasagna and Prime Short Ribs. Every bite was amazing and our server Emily was fantastic. Happy to pay for the atmosphere and experience, and eagerly anticipate returning.“

“Update***I had the drip coffee today and they refilled my coffee frequently. And it tasted great!!! Thanks for the great food and service!!!*******I really like the food and the ambience here - 5 stars. Why did I give it 3 stars overall then?It over charges for SMALL cups of americanos without refills. 1 small cup (1 shot expresso and 1 shot water) is $6. I’m talking about a small tea cup here.You end up paying $24 for 4 small tea cups of americanos for 2 people which is equivalent to 2 grande americanos at Starbucks for 3 TIMES the price. Sadly the drip coffees don’t taste as good and aren’t refilled either.Will I still eat here? Every so often because I like the food, but I won’t come as often as I would because of how much they over charge for coffee. I feel like I’m letting someone rob me…“

I tried about four different apps and they were all amazing! The shrimp was perfection, the Connecticut lobster roll is a must, and the lobster mac & cheese was great.
