“It was the 1st time I came to Daisy's Grill and was impressed, the atmosphere is so cute! Music was 50's/60's music in the background. When our breakfast arrived, it was delicious. Everything we touched was so tasty and had a lightness to it that really showcased the essence of the food. Will definitely come back again!“

“Discovered this little gem a last summer (2023) and have been coming back ever since.Usually I get the bbq trio platter, which has a little of everything: ribs, chicken and brisket with two sides. This is plenty for two, and if for one person, then you have left overs.Last week I finally tried their wings. Holy cow!I was affraid they'll be saggy when I got home to eat them. But they are so well packed. The contained has a vent once closed, which allows for the steam to scape while the wings remain hot, crunchy onhe outside, and tender on the inside.“

“Food and drinks were amazing. Only complaint is waited too long, over 30 min, for our food. Watched as people who sat after us finished their food and left.“

“Antidote has some drawbacks to be sure, the biggest one being that it is pretty hard to get a table there, but the food is outstanding--with a lot of options--and when the bill comes, it always seems like a pretty good value. I do wish their drink menu was a little stronger, and if you aren't there for the last seating, you might get rushed out, but that doesn't stop us from going often. The hidden strength of this place is that the menu is so extensive, much more so than Birds of Feather, the closest rival, both in distance and cocenpt. That makes it easier to find exactly what you want. For example, there are a few different fish dishes: steamed whole, a couple different ways, stewed in spicy broth, and probably others. We usually end up with one of these. As indicated above, I wish the drink menu was more extensive. It's a cool place too, and always lively, especially on weekend night. But it can be drafty right up front.“

“We sat outside( private party inside) It's clean, well lit. We never felt abandoned. Our server was very attentive. Made some suggestions and was able to accommodate an Allium allergy We started our brunch with several appetizers. Rice balls, burrata cremosa, prosciutto, cherry tomatoes, grill ciabatta, all so flavorful, plentiful The romaine Caesar with fried egg , and the breakfast spaghetti ( a first for us and so delicious) was a huge hit. The portions were just right. A man would come by and ask how we were, if we needed anything. Now we see why this Cafe is so popular. The service and food is flawless!“

“This pizzeria is one of the hottest in New York, and their pizza is well worth the wait. They offer a variety of pizzas, from traditional to innovative flavors that are impressively delicious and generously portioned. Additionally, the decor retains a wonderful sense of history, complete with interesting notes on the walls. Due to its popularity, expect to wait over half an hour during peak lunch and dinner times, and even at 3 PM, it's likely to be packed. If you'd prefer not to wait, consider ordering a pickup. Highly recommended for pizza enthusiasts.“

“The food here was excellent. I got the Pad Thai and it was one of the best I've ever had. Their appetizers are all very good. I'd highly recommend going here on a date or family dinner. Menu is a little pricy but worth it.“

“I used to eat here when it was under a different name. After the recent renovation, I decided to try it again. The food, mostly mid-southern Chinese food from Zhejiang/Shanghai, was authentic and tasted good. One exception was the hot and sour soup, too salty. Service was good. New setting/decor is modern and trendy.“

“My friend and I got dinner here very last minute. We went with no expectations. We ordered the kampachi crudo starter and the spicy crab spaghetti. The crudo was alright, but nothing super special. The spicy crab spaghetti was pretty good, but it was not really spicy at all, especially coming from someone who is usually pretty sensitive to spicy. Overall Food 4/5 stars. While the dinner was pretty solid, what made this meal extra special was the desserts! We split the basil ice cream and strawberry rhubarb cake. The dessert was my favorite part of the meal and really carried the while experience. I'd go back just for the desserts.“

“Wend to Avoca without a reservation on a Saturday morning, we were grateful to get a table without having to wait too long; but then the table turned out to be in the aisle between the entrance to the kitchen and the bathroom on a very tight and on the way spot. I feel like that table should not exist at all since it was just a risk of getting hit by trays and being uncomfortably on the way. For food, I had a coffee, a single mimosa (bottomless is also an option but was not feeling it at the time) and the avocado toast which was delicious and very filling. The service was polite but a bit slow , which is expected given how packet the restaurant was on a Saturday morning. Would recommend and be back , with a reservation next time!“

“All around fantastic time at Saint Julivert ✨The space is narrow, but nicely designed; I recommend sitting at the bar. Our bartender/server Omie (not sure if this is correctly spelled) was super nice and gave some great recommendations, which really elevated our experience.Every dish we had was delicious, but our stand outs were the whipped mackerel, the shiso tacos, the jerked hamachi collar, and the mezcal flan.“

“We recently had our daughters baptism dinner at Trattoria L'incontra and had a fantastic experience from start to finish. The staff went above and beyond to make sure our event was enjoyable and accommodative. Alfredo and his team were extremely friendly and attentive to every detail. During our meal, Chef Rocco came out to ask how everything was and even brought us another pasta course to try on the house. The food was truly exceptional. Each dish was presented beautifully and tasted even better. Overall, I highly recommend Trattoria L'incontra to anyone looking for a great dining experience. The combination of excellent service and delicious food makes it a standout restaurant in the area. I can't wait to go back!“

“My acquaintance Jody needs no kuddos from me. I first met Ms. Williams when she was holding a staff meeting at a communal table in a small room at the back of Buvette when they first opened.I was struck by her kind and professional demeanor, nothing like I read in the stuff of blankety, blank, blank. The staff was relaxed, smiling and attentive. And, matched their bosses energy— proving once more that the fish rots from the head down.Fast forward, years later Buvette is no longer my date place (not because they’ve loosened their standards!)— it’s because I’ve broken with animal proteins.Via Carota, is in my mind is the go-to for vegetarians.Ms. Williams treats vegetables with the respect that they deserve. Never blanketed beyond recognition with cheese or sauce. The staff is both friendly and knowledgeable and most importantly— democratic. I’m no longer a regular, but I was treated with respect that every paying customer deserves.“

“We've been to Casa Limone many times, usually for lunch. The Executive Lunch on weekdays is our choice every time. The portion is just right and the salmon crudo and soup are always great choices. My wife and I split dessert and the gianduja is wonderful. Service at Casa Limone is always terrific from bussers to servers. Casa Limone is our go-to whenever we look for lunch in midtown.“

“Otis, My Man! - Animal House I planned out both dinner and show Friday night for my wife. I have the first reservation at 6pm but in order to make this all work she has to leave work a little early. She says it shouldn't be a problem but all I'm thinking about is their homemade breads. If there's an issue, I may leave late. Woman, set yourself on fire and run out of there! Once inside, this is a beautiful space in Bushwick. Bushwick always makes me laugh. If my grandparents were alive they'd say the rosary for me. Bushwick in the late 70s? As I see the subway across the street, I can see why in 2024 this is a popular neighborhood. Walking inside, there is a long beautiful looking bar that's stocked with some high end booze. I was about to order one of the great Scotch offerings but I see a smoky & spicy Otis signature drink called "Revenge Of The Line" made with Mezcal, Charred Pineapple and Habañero. Ah-mazing. The Otis Menu isn't broken down into starters and mains. The Otis team lists everything, figure it out and order. My wife & I made this work. Starting with the Burrata and the Roasted Beets. The Burrata was on top of this Sweet Potato and Tomato Jam. Once the burrata was cut open, delish! We slathered the cheese on the charred focaccia, soo good! The roasted beets with Ruby Frost Apples were another solid dish. What made it next level was the Crispy Quinoa and Candied Pecan bits. Highly recommended. Next, Lamb Meatballs and Braised Pork Pasta. We're sitting at the chef's table and watching these guys cook is crazy. They have 5 pans going at once and they are hustling to get food out. I see them take the Lamb Meatballs and put them on the grill to get that charred goodness. When they're finished the Lamb Meatballs are plated over a Tomatillo Tahini. This is a phenomenal dish, and the definition of phenomenal: very remarkable, extraordinary. Finally, the Braised Pork Pasta. This was something I never had before, it says miso but the underlying flavor tasted more like cinnamon. House made Gigli Pasta with Pork Shoulder which was cooked low and slow, fork tender soft and loaded with flavor. This dish was topped with House-Made Ricotta. Best described as a little heat with sliky tomato sauce, the Braised Pork Pasta is the best dish on the Otis menu. The desserts looked amazing but we were so packed I had to say No Mas. I am so glad we dined at Otis, I highly recommend Otis for Cocktails and Dinner.“

“TL:DR - great food, cozy space, beverages are hit or miss depends what you get. 4 stars. David the barista is great! 58th st location.Details:Service 5/5 - shoutout to David for the exceptional customer service. super cramped in here but it's kind of cozy. They have wifi but it's super intimately spaced and I feel like I'm going to break my neck on those stairs, this place is short people friendly.Food: tastiest chicken Empanada I've had in awhile that isn't from the Criollos chain. It was juicy without being wet and flavorful. Wepa!!!!Drinks: my buddy got the Tres Leche and I had fomo because that thing was GOOOD. Drank half of hers lol. I got an iced Coquito latte because I'm a sweaty human even in winter and it helped regulate my temp but the taste was just OK. Her drink was hot and I was happy to sweat for it.Note: the iced drinks come in those clear bags with a straw like when Covid started allowing people to drink out of plastic bags from bars. We went to pick her kid up from tennis and I looked like an unhinged day drinker trying to relive spring break.Misc: Stopped by with a buddy to wait for tennis to let out over on 1st ave. Got a chicken Empanada, a Tres leche coffee and a coquito *flavored* latte. ( they have actual spirit infused stuff but i didn't get that).“

“We went for Thanksgiving, not expecting much. Understanding they would be busy at 7pm, we decided to take our chances and walk in. Super friendly service. We got a welcome eggnog, brilliantly cooked 3 course price fix menu, great service. There were some hiccups (soup came out crazy fast, while the drinks took the normal time. A little odd) loved that they had a kobe steak as arn option, very moist turkey too. Pumpkin creme bruleee was tasty-not too "pumpkiny". They even have us a free champagne with dessert. Really worth it“

“Ordered take out from here and it was very good. The fried chicken was excellent and we got both the spicy mayo and basil aioli which were a good combo. Also got the veggie and pork/chive yumplings. If you’re not a huge fan of spice, ask for the chili oil on the side - the pork ones were very good and nice in size - the veggie ones were good but were more of an acquired taste. The only thing I would say is it can be a little oily when getting lots of fried things so would recommend balancing dishes you order if you’re not a huge fan of the heaviness of an oilier dish.“

“This place rocked. We wanted something close to the High Line and this place popped up. We made a reservation via Open Table. After getting delayed on the subway, we were a little late. The hostess was understandable and we were seated at a table right away. It was busy and lively. We ate the sourdough bread, citrus salad and deviled eggs. It was all good. “Update***I had the drip coffee today and they refilled my coffee frequently. And it tasted great!!! Thanks for the great food and service!!!*******I really like the food and the ambience here - 5 stars. Why did I give it 3 stars overall then?It over charges for SMALL cups of americanos without refills. 1 small cup (1 shot expresso and 1 shot water) is $6. I’m talking about a small tea cup here. You end up paying $24 for 4 small tea cups of americanos for 2 people which is equivalent to 2 grande americanos at Starbucks for 3 TIMES the price. Sadly the drip coffees don’t taste as good and aren’t refilled either. Will I still eat here? Every so often because I like the food, but I won’t come as often as I would because of how much they over charge for coffee. I feel like I’m letting someone rob me…“
